What is the best ROM for htc tattoo??
It has to be very fast ! And shouldnt use much battery
I'm using the CM7 Rom.

i prefer nFinityGB, also CM7-based...
from my point of view it is very time-consuming to evaluate, if a rom is great for yourself...i only can judge, if it is completely customized...therefore i read a lot of ROM-threads before i picked out some to test... the second one, nFinity, fulfilled all my requirements...
be sure, which functionalities you need and which further requirements you have (e.g. at least android 2.x) and check out, which ROM supports/includes which features...
Go for Kalim's CM7 it's the fastest ever!

whats the best 2.2 rom available atm? fast and stable is what im after
for speed and stability, you cant go past openfire. thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783024. more detail in the thread

with sense? looks good though B)
openfire is completely AOSP. and so far I haven't found a fast or stable sense rom. lol. there was some recent sense one whose name I've forgotten, that was supposedly fast and stable.haven't tried it myself yet. theres a sticky thread in the wildfire development forum, have a look at that
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I doubt it that fast (as comparing with Openfire) Sense-based ROM exist today. All new ROMs based on new HTC ROM are not JIT-Enabled. But the devs are working on it.
I also recommend trying OpenFire. Damn fast and light ROM.
The best Froyo Rom that works perfect is the villainrom (www.villainrom.co.uk) the only problem is with the live wallpapers. Everything else works (Fm Radio, HTC aplications. app2sd)
Yea... Even though villain rom was mostly/completely based on wildpuzzle lol.
Anyway, try wildpuzzle if you want a good sense rom or sinaabh whatever its called.

I'm using sinaabh right now actually, it is the most legendary sense ROM."I can't believe it's not stock!" (Lol) this one is definitely a keeper, at least until a stable gingerbread ROM comes out

openfire was fast and simple, still a bit buggy though.
cyanogenmod is what i'm sticking to atm, it's updated frequently

What would be the best rom to use on my wifes phone?
Will need to be stable so she doesnt nag me... Plus faster as its currently laggy on stock
CM7? If so is the stable release the best to use?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
CM7 stable 7.0.3, I've been using it for about 2 days, and I don't have any issues with it
I would suggest Anonimos rom, it's lightning fast, been using it for about 4 days and no issues so far.
Gingerbread: cyanogenmod latest nightly.
Sense: wildpuzzle v8
Froyo: openfire

Thanks, which provides best speed , stability and battery performance? I dont think she would notice the difference between GB/Froyo.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Best for speed is cyanogenmod7 its very stable too with built in overclocking. Its better then froyo
But if she is used to sense then get wildpuzzle it is faster than stock and is very stable and for added speed can also be overclocked with the right kernel

My CM7 had the market installed, as far as I know.
It was there from when I installed it.
Did you include the Google Apps download? That's optional, but well worth installing.
Market needs the GApps package. Anyhow, good choice, because, for "non-tinkerers", using Sense ROMs is preferable, because you get a good, no-nonsense (lol) experience.
Well there you go!
Which is the better rom cm7 or spashmod?

CM7 gives you a lot more configuratibility out of the box. Oxygen SplashMod is not so customizable, but it's much lighter, hence, definitely feels faster on first boot. It's really your decision to try both and choose which suits you. Both are well recognized ROMs across various devices.
My vote is for cm7..
It is more stable more fast nd more customisable..
Areeb for htc wildfire
I will vote for cm7 as its having more customization features but like the splashmod launcher .. both are having crappy dialer ..

The latest locally-built CM7 Nightly posted by ErwinP in the CM7 Nightlies thread includes a T9 Smart dialer I believe. And just FYI, the launcher in any ROM can be changed to anything you prefer.
how can we make cm7 faster..?? Which applications can be removed?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
I'll have to vote CM7. Since it is a lot more customizable. And they add actual changes to the rom.

Yes just install it.!!!

Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
In my opinion,Splashmod is more faster than CM7....
I tried the official CM7 stable Rom for wildfire, it is slow....May be it's because the optimization process is not include
CM 7
cm 7.2 is best Rom right now present in market .
Another CM7 vote here - though I've tried several others... it might be one of those familiarity things though as CM7 was the first ROM I tried out
That said... now that the camera is working I'm going down the CM9 route

Yeah, I may not have been in a good mood yesterday. My point still stands though if you divide the number by 10, probably about right
Best Rom!!
If its android your after then i would have to say
Gingerbread: The nexus stock rom, very stable does everything it should
IceCreamSandwich: then so far i would go with beta7 of
Tytung's NexusHD2 based on Nexus One port
I have been looking for the best Sense ROM for the HD2 with the most stability, speed, and the best battery life, but there are so many, I don't know which to use. Which is the most stable, fast, and best battery life? I don't care which Sense version it is, as long as it's stable, fast, and has good battery life.

Thanks for the reply! But I have two questions: Are you using the T-Mobile HD2 or the regular HD2? (If it has green and red buttons and says "T-Mobile" at the top, it's T-Mobile, if it has white buttons, it's the regular). And the other question, do you have to modify your device/the ROM to make it stable? Thanks.
