Gingerbread screen on and off not working on cm7

I saw a youtube video of the Gingerbread on and off screen animations on CM7 but I just downloaded the Alpha3 and I see the options in Cyanogenmod settings but it doesn't work. Not sure If it works for others and if I should reflash? Pretty cool feature to have. btw The rest of the Cm7 Rom rocks!! Big shout out to those working hard on this rom!

did you play with Spare Parts (windows animation)?

When i finally think i'm happy with a custom rom, i find a new one that i wanna test. Thanks a bunch!

I only get 868 points in Quadrant with the Arc-X8 i installed yesterday. All in all the phone runs smooth and more ore less fast but Angry Birds e.g. in some situations is very slow.
Does anyone know when a new version of minicm will be released?

I too do not see it, and a quick google search does not seem to yield any meaningful results

I know that I'm from the US, the last place that has any say on language...but using the term "OPPO" is a no-no.

I'm using File Manager HD, made for honeycomb. Might want to take a look at that also. Its nice.

i use file station, works pretty well

I am in love with File Manager HD. It's like a honeycomb optimized Astro.

Don't look for "oppo". i'm not sure why OP decided to go with that term. It's properly titled "File Manager HD".

battery widget for rooted devices?

hey guys i was just wondering if there was a battery widget that shows the charge left on the dock? my tf is rooted and all the battery widgets ive tried on the device shows the status of the dock as not connected or undocked..........i think it is because my tf is rooted .........

Wow. That's a pretty intense UI! lol
Was looking thru the changelog and noticed tha he used the clemsyn-blades kernel. There have been reports that kernel hinders (or borks) android from reporting the current status of the batteries. I believe the later verison of the C-B OC kernel resolved that. The Netformer kernel (based on 3.1) shows the widgets just fine.
I'm betting that's your issue. I'm running the PCB Blue theme on the Prime 1.4 ROM with Netformer 1.5 OC kernel (up to 1.6 and very smooth FWIW).

I want to stop android 2.3.4 swiftdroid rc1 killing my games. Is there away to stop the OS task killing the forground app. I seem to run out of ram and my games just exit to home screen
What's the best set up for playing games. Are there any other tweeks to help better gaming performance.
Ive overclocked to 854mhz
Got a 256mb ext 3 swap
Supercharger v6
Autostarts to kill startup apps.
I've tried auto task killers to close all apps except thee game I'm playing.
But it just keeps droping to home screen I've spoken to the game developers and they say its a lack of memory ram on the device
I'm beta testing star legends and is not like I'm trying to play order and chaos lol.

have you applied any VM or Kernel tweaks if not give me a a day or two because i am going to upload the tweaks i use and i think they work a treat when playing games Etc but if you want you can PM the game/s that keep closing on you and i will test them on my phone??

Don't bulletproof the launcher.
If you did, use default htk launcher.
This is precisely why I devised htk... bulltetproof is nice, but inflexible.

I've just applied the supercharger v7 that's all. I cant send the beta as its a closed beta but the game should be out next week.

By default it's htk.
It's only bulletproof if you run option 12

I'm trying to play gangstar Miami vindication HD
I've overclocked to 854mhz

I kill as many apps I can to free 70mb at start of game. But my games still hang.
What's the best setup for playing HD games because there's loads of videos on YouTube with Russians playing the games fine on 2.3.4

@thugimmortal: i think with gt540 you can't play HD-Games -> try a non-HD version

Sorry lol its the hvga version
But even non HD 3d games crash eg pocket legends and star legends
