[INFO] [Q] US AMAZON order status? - Eee Pad Transformer General

Here's my Amazon Asus Transformer 16GB status:
*Order date: 04/26/11 at 11:04 PM PST (the availability of the item was toggling between sold out and in stock until I locked on an "in stock" order.)
*Estimated delivery estimate was 05/17/11 - 05/27/11 up until last night when I changed the shipping speed from two-day to one-day shipping.
*NEW delivery estimate is now 05/23/11 - 05/25/11.
What's everyone elses status?

Mine is still showing 05/17/11 - 05/27/11. I got the dock (ordered at the same time on 4/26) two weeks ago and it's still sitting in the box, unopened.
Sigh. Really getting tired of waiting.

Mine was 5/17-5/27. I found one at Fry's on the 15th and canceled my order. I ordered about an hour before you.
I ordered the dock about an hour later and received that on the 5/11.

I ordered my 16 gb at Amazon on 4/26 at about 11 am eastern time. My estimated delivery is 5/16 to 5/26. The status stills says not yet shipped.

With an delivery estimate of 05/23-05/25 (since 04/26/11), no status update yet. Anyone seeing any updates?

I honestly gave up hope on Amazon. I picked my 32GB from Newegg & got it way sooner.

Ordered mine on 4/26 and got a delivery estimate of 05/17 - 05/27. Complained to a CS rep that some people were getting their order even though they ordered after me. Amazon gave me a $10 credit and upgraded to next day shipping and emailed a new delivery estimate of 05/25. That was a week ago, no new updates but I'm going to contact them this afternoon if I don't get an email about shipping.

But the tax savings is too good to give up! If I wasn't so cheap I might have done the same.

I ended up canceling my Amazon 16GB order. First it was May 14th, then pushed to May 19th-24th, now they emailed me saying it's Jun 14th. Faaark it.

That's it, I'm done. Just got off speaking with an amazon representative and they said It'll be another week. I give up and canceling my order and amazon prime.

UPDATE: Amazon basically price matched another 3rd party seller on amazon with expedited shipping. My status (from 3rd party seller) now say's Shipping Soon.

Amazon customer service sucks. They are clueless. Never buying a launched product from amazon again.

Anyone still waiting on a WiFi-only B&H pre-order?

As the thread title indicates, I want to find out who (else) is waiting on a pre-ordered WiFi-only model from B&H.
I ordered one on Monday this week after they had stock (ie. No preorder), and it shipped that day and I have it in my hands as of now (Australia).

Holy balls I wish I'd done that rather than pre-order from Dixons UK. Prob won't get mine for another 10-14 days...!
B&H possibly not having supply was what concerned me. When they list their pre-order option I immediately signed up. But the next day when the release from Motorola came out, they didn't list B&H selling the Xoom. That scared me. When I saw Amazon on there.. with free shipping and 'cancel anytime' and we won't charge you until it ships.. I decided to cancel my B&H order and go with Amazon. I'm sorry you still don't have it. My thoughts would be to cancel your order and go through Amazon or somewhere else. B&H cancelled my order the next day after requesting (I cancelled it that night).. so really next business day. They are good about that. I believe other places have it in stock. These are too much fun to be waiting for someone to get in their own stock!
Pre-ordered on 15 march and I received yesterday.
With a little delayed because the accessories are not in stock so I spoke with an agent on the Live Chat and he send my Xoom tuesday. The accessories will be sent later by USPS.
Ordered on sunday (27.03) and i`m typing this message on my new xoom

Galactic, I am guessing that what happened to yours is happening to mine. I pre-ordered the silicone gel case and desktop dock along with the XOOM. Were your accessories either of those, by any chance?

BestBuy not shipping until the 17th :(

Contacted BestBuy today in regards to shipping the Galaxy Tab 10.1
They are not shipping the unit until the 17th, therefore I probably won't get it until the 20th or later.
I'm seriously thinking of canceling my order and just going to BestBuy to get it at my local store on the 17th. Hate to pay for shipping and get it later than expected.

That is the national release date...
Since they were able to launch it at the one store in NY on the 8th, I was hoping they would have it setup so that those of us who pre-ordered would have it on the 17th. It would be a let down to see people going to Best Buy on the 17th & posting on the forums how great the device is, while those of us who pre-ordered are at home still waiting a few days for it to arrive.

Isn't that always the case for pre-ordering unless the item is hot and will sell out in stores instantly? My experience with pre-ordering is sometimes you get it early but most times you get it later than expected.
I don't think GTab is that hot.

Don't even waist your time with Best Buy. I ordered mine off of Amazon and it has a delivery estimate of June 21st. Plus you don't have to pay shipping or sales tax. save yourself $42, plus amazon has a way better and easier return policy.

Amazon sounds like a much better deal. I would definitely go that route, but I have BestBuy gift cards tied to my order. So I will have to stick with BestBuy. Otherwise I would go through Amazon.

I'm torn between this and the ipad2 for my dad and need to make a decision within 5 days since I have to send it overseas with a relative.

I already have an ipad2 so I know it's behavior.
my reason to buy the tab for my dad is so that it's easy for him to sync his media between his home and office PC's, updated gmail and youtube client, ability to play xvid and avi files and the ability to drag and drop files from ANY pc to the tablet (he's not going to go for that apple iTunes sync with 1 pc crap though there are ways around it...)
When I returned my ipad 2, they didn't give me a refund. They said that they could only give me a gift card with the amount of my purchase. The ipad 2 was also un-opened. I'm using the gift card balance to purchase the Tab 10.1

Seriously, folks. Just because you are excited about this device (as am I) doesn't mean its a line-up-at-door-at-3am blockbuster product. Demand for the 10.1 Tab will be good, but not sell-out good. The only thing that would make a retail outlet sell out would be low supply, which is unlikely since the production device went final weeks and weeks ago.
If the order status still says "In Process" by Wednesday, I will cancel & just grab one at the store on Friday.
Just ordered mine off of Amazon...$499 + $3.99 one day shipping. Best part is saving $50 on tax. I got my email receipt and it says estimated delivery is 20th but hopefully it ships on 17th, Amazon has shipped things earlier before.

I'm not as optimistic. I worry the national launch was delayed from the 8th to 17th because of supply issues. And look at the ASUS Transformer, it's still hard to find in stock over a month after launch.
Samsung is making this tablet super thin and using a new Super PLS display, manufacturing issues could be a concern.
Only way this is going to sell out is if there are like three in the store, which i think might be the case

Yeah, I don't think this will be on high demand... There is more Honeycomb tablets to choose from.

I returned my ipad 2 at bestbuy and got my money back on my card. Full refund. They do give you a 14 day return policy, I think.

Right, I canceled my order at BB and got it at amazon. The 16GB was $540, estimated delivery after the 21st, with amazon I got the 32GB at $604, with one day shipping (I couldn't resist), estimated delivery the 20th!

BB has a 14 day return window for in-store purchases (not sure about online purchases). No restocking fee, and really no questions asked when I returned my XOOM, waiting for the Samsung device.
I do like Amazon return policy, but really no where near as easy as driving down to BB with the device in-hand and exchanging with a human being. No return label and carrier pick-ups to deal with.

-is there a choice to choose the Gray or White version?
-what's the warranty / return policy?
-any taxes in NY?
I am still undecided between Wi-fi and LTE but I can't wait anymore and I might just pull the plug an order the 32 GB Gray....
All the online retailers appear to only offer the gray version. So I suspect the white one might be a Best Buy exclusive maybe?

Only choice was Grey
From what I read the return policy on tablets is 30 days from the date of delivery and they will give you a prepaid return label
No taxes here in Texas, not sure about NY
Amazon does collect taxes for NY.
Sucks that they don't ship to Australia, I don't want to have to pay $700 for the 16GB wifi version

I ordered the 32G this morning
and there are no choice of color except the black or grey for 32G. And I just confirmed with them on the phone only have Grey.
My shipping est is on the June 20th and I asked for 1 day shipping. The CSR told me they are shipping on June 17th, so I might get it on June 18th Saturday.

Usually Overnight shipment with Saturday delivery is much more expensive so I don't think you will receive it then.
On the order confirmation, however, it indeed says they will ship on Friday (I have 2 day delivery and it says it will get here by Tue...)
I just can't wait any longer...
I got the White 16GB SGT 10.1 from best buy on June 8th. Thats all they had. The white is a best buy exclusive.
Also, wifi doesn't work without root and messing with some files as the stock filters ad hoc connections.
I have ordered several things lately from Amazon with 1 day and had them arrive on Saturday - not sure if that's something cool Amazon is doing or if the carriers (usually UPS or Fedex) are doing, but I hope it continues for at least one more time! Anyway, mine is still showing June 20 delivery estimate.
Ordered my 32GB version several days ago on Amazon ... like everyone else, hoping that they ship it for a Friday or Saturday delivery (w/ one day shipping).
Fedex Home Delivery delivers Tuesday-Saturday. Sometimes Fedex Ground packages are delivered by Fedex Home, so you will occasionally get those on Saturday as well.
Like the rest of you I opted for one day delivery expecting to receive my Galaxy Tab bright and early Saturday morning. I will be a bit upset if they don't deliver until Monday - I'll (probably, depending on the carrier and which way the wind is blowing) miss the delivery due to work and not be able to pick up my tab until Tuesday after work. Kind of defeats the point in shelling out for one day delivery, eh? One day shipping is almost as much as local sales tax, and I could pick one up from Best Buy Friday night in that case!
I don't see any indication on my invoice as to which carrier/method my package will be shipped with. Crossing my fingers.

The Saturday delivery option for Amazon Prime members is only offered for eligible items shipping to select ZIP codes within the continental United States. If an item and shipping address qualify for Saturday delivery, you'll see that option on the item detail page or in the shopping cart during checkout."
So unless after you chose 1 -day and then it asked if you would like Saturday....
i work at a bookstore and we often have to do special orders from Amazon. When we do them on Friday and pay for one-day, they ALWAYS come on Saturday. Just a heads up!

I've had Sat delivery from Amazon and was never given an option, it just showed up on Sat. The only Sat delivery has been by Fedex Home Delivery or USPS, never by UPS or "regular" Fedex. I am a Prime member.

My guess is as good as yours. Usually, UPS and USPS are slow to update status. Hopefully, between tomorrow and Monday. Just happy the status changed from processing order.
Ordered the 16gb with the coupon and chose deliver to store. Now it says that its been shipped from the warehouse, and it should arrive at the local Staples on Monday.
Oh baby mine shipped. So Cal, about 11am I ordered.

Same for me. Coupon didn't work and I was working with the "Lead Supervisor" at my local store. Told him everybody said it was working online. Dude gave it to me for 199 even. Yes! No tax in OR means walk out the door with shiny new Nexus 7, under 200.

Just picked one up at Staples here in Broomfield, Colorado, and they honored the $30 off coupon. CSR had to do a manual entry to accomplish it, but she was happy to - said they did the same yesterday, "Because the SKU is new and system isn't accepting it". I was prepared to argue, because the terms on the coupon specifically state ANY tablet, expires 7-28-13.

I'll be avoiding them from now on as well. 3 stores told me they won't honor the coupon. The 4th store said they would honor it and they had stock, but it was 30min away and they wouldn't let me reserve a device. When I got there the manager said somebody had just called and reserved the last 3. I'm prepared to complain to corporate about the last one. I will never be shopping at a staples again.

Been browsing between here and other forums as people who didn't spend the extra money for priority are already receiving their phones. Oneplus showed Friday as the estimated delivery, but Fed ex is saying Tuesday. Regular shipping would've been Wednesday delivery. I ordered within minutes of launch, so I'm a little irate that some people that ordered hours after and didn't pay extra for shipping had their phones shipped first.

Oneplus showed Friday as the estimated delivery, but Fed ex is saying Tuesday. Regular shipping would've been Wednesday delivery. I ordered within minutes of launch, so I'm a little irate that some people that ordered hours after and didn't pay extra for shipping had their phones shipped first.

Call them and see if they will refund you the $9.99

mine says friday too, it will be here tomorrow but with Thanksgiving, No Shipping

the people who got theirs already was either at the Show where they can buy them or live in the West coast, mine appeared to ship from Cali, but if u don't get yours until next week I would call too. I ordered min at 9:04 am lol I had to pull over on my way to work to order it

Someone on a Reddit thread suggested that too, so I think I'll give that a try.
I ordered about an hour after launch with priority shipping. It said an estimated delivery of Nov. 29th with, and Dec 11th without! I figured the extra $10 would be worth the week and a half reduction in shipping time. Shipping to Missouri.
I ordered within two minutes of the store opening and chose for priority shipping. My order still shows as 'processed' I contacted Oneplus and they don't even know what's going on :0
According to their information under my order it should have shipped yesterday and I would get it tomorrow.. not much hope unfortunately
in the uk the phone can be purchased at the O2 store or ordered from them for next day delivery home or at store. very easy to get .
if u ordered on 21 and phone don't arrive on 24, you can ask refund for shipping costs

Priority shipments usually just bump all of the other standard shipments up, so you essentially paid for everyones priority shipment.
What happened to your package is just pure randomness though, could have been dozens of peoples fault why your package was late by a few days. But it would usually have priority.
Next time just keep the standard shipping. Someone else will pay for priority and you will get your package just as quickly as them (if yours was grouped with them, which happens all of the time)
Same story here. Ordered within minutes. FedEx has a tracking entry since 8pm on the 21st, but OnePlus didn't give the package to FedEx yet and now it's the 23rd. It was supposed to arrive tomorrow, but that clearly isn't going to happen if the shipping label, with a phone hopefully stuck to it, is still in California.
What I'm most worried about is that OnePlus might have oversold the first batch of available phones and so while I paid $10 for fast shipping I'll still have to wait a week for the next container to arrive from China. Just because OnePlus printed a shipping label doesn't mean there was a box with a phone in it for them to slap the label onto.
Ordered 2min after launch, standard shipments. They say it would had come the 29th, it came yesterday from Poland....(Paris, France here)

EXACT same story here..I contacted support and they said to keep an eye out for new tracking. Any updates on your end?

I feel sorry to those who are still waiting for their phones. I bought mine 11 minutes after it was launched and got it yesterday.
I live in Greater Vancouver Are. I purchased mine on Nov 21, received on 22 in the early afternoon. I did not pay shipping (free DHL Express). I don't really know why they charge you $10 for shipping cos mine was actually shipped from Los Angles
All i know is I got it the next day, so im Pretty sure the 9.99 was worth it, i got mine fedex 2 day
