[Q] Keep Micro active when jack plugged - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting an

Hello,
It was possible with WM6.5 on HD2.
Now I have install WP7 and when I plug a stereo jack (only 2 rings) the built-in microphone is not active....
Do you have a trick to keep it active?

I think it's rom based. My current rom gives me the same problem. My previous rom, the twilight rom, the mic & headphones worked perfectly.
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

It is ROM based, Although a jack with a microphone works perfectly fine.
Just keep an eye out for upcoming Roms.

Thank's. I'll wait!

USB-headset not recognized after MoDacO?

Hi, yesterday i decided to try MoDacO 3.0 out and i love it, feels a lot more responsive than hero original rom!
But i have a problem!
The phone doesn't recognize my USB headset (http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/se/p_htc_item.aspx?i=184420)
Nothing happens when i plug it in (worked great with hero original rom)
However, the headset that comes with the HTC, that goes in the 3,5mm audio jack works fine. And when i plug the USB headset in while the original is plugged in, audio comes out of both headsets, but only the controls on the original work.
I had a problem with Meridian media player somehow disabling the original headset but i haven't installed that one now.
Any ideas? I'm going crazy here, and I really don't wanna return to the original rom!

Mic function during connected to 3.5mm audio jack

Hi,
Previously I was running my HD2 on the official WWE rom 1.66 from HTC.
I'm an avid music listener so I had and aux cable fitted into my car stereo
so I could listen to my playlist from my HD2 through my car's stereo.
As I've found out I could actually answer calls and talk through the system itself. Which was kind of cool since I figured I'd already saved big bucks on some car handsfree tool. But then again the 3.5mm jack has no mic input in it. So i figured it was using the phone's built in mic instead for receiving audio and the car's stereo for transmitting audio.
Currently I'm running on Dutty's Leo HG V1 WWE rom with 2.08.50.08_2 radio
which is sweet since it's very stable, fast, and close to stock as i'd like it (kudos to dutty). But I found out since then, I couldn't use my car's stereo as a handsfree anymore since i can only listen to music and not making calls with it, where i could only hear the person on the other side but they cant hear s**t what i'm trying to say.
can anybody help me on this?
thanks and really appreciate it.
(sorry for the long essay i'd like to make it as detail and understandable as possible )
Most likely a ROM issue, all those I've used work fine in that respect. I'd try a couple other radio ROMs first, if it doesn't do it then change ROM altogether.
hi,
i go with kilrah, seems to be a rom thing. the only way to get around this problem without changing the rom is maybe to use a cable that offers a build in microphone. i get one at ebay some time ago, it stick between your hd2 and the headset/carcable, and works quiet well. here is a link to ebay . as i said bevore its more a workaround then a solution. i use this thing to leave my hd2 in the pocket and use my own headphones that dont have a microphone.
regards mad
thanks bros.
figured it might be the rom anyways
thanx guys for these thread
cause i have the same problem with energy rom
so, would anyone used a rom where the headset were work perfectly??????????

[Q] Bluetooth headset (mono) low mic/outgoing volume

After switching from WM to Android, people often complain they can barely hear me while talking through my H710 bluetooth headset, that works perfectly well in WM and/or with PC. How do i reconfigure it to actually work properly ?
PS: let me clarify again, i am talking about the OUTGOING audio, the one received by the other party. The audio volume on my side is fine.

No replies at all... how expectable
Just wanted to add, i've tested the very same ROM on the very same kernel with a different earphone (Nokia BH-105, borrowed it from a coworker), and it is working perfectly well, meaning it's also headset dependent, too
I'm facing the same problem..

I am thinking about just buying a different headset, can you tell the headset you are trying so i wouldn't even try that one ?
The headsets are not the problem.. the problem is in Sense ROMs.. i suggest you trying CyanogenMod roms.. some said that that bluetooth issue is sorted out!
I have a similar problem. I tried using two different headsets: mono - Bluetrek Sense and stereo - Plantronics 590. Both worked fine with the original firmware windows mobile. But after installing the Android firmware RAFDROID HD 4.0.2, my voice with a microphone headset is too quiet.

[Q] Real headphones with Internal mic

Hi,
is there any way to get the internal mic on the SGS2 working when using real headphones? I also have problems in the car when using BlueTooth, my mic do not work - neither the car mic nor the built in one and in this case I would prefer the external one.
Also connected to good headphones - Volume boosting? I have tried the service codes but they all go back to normal again, do I need to Root?
Thanks
Using standard 3.5 jack headset allows me to make and answer calls on my SGS2
I recently bought a senheiser headset that includes a mic and answer/hang button originally designed for iPhone and it works perfectly with my SGS2 (XXKG3/speedmod kernel)
hope this helps

Android Lollipop (5.0+) Daily Driver Help

So far, I have tested 3 different Android 5.0 DirectSD ROM's from the Android NAND Thread. All "work" but the last one was really speedy, all was perfect until I wanted to connect to a Bluetooth headset or speaker. It only played music through the internal speaker. In 3 different kinds of devices, BT Car Stereo, BT Headphones, and BT Speaker.
None worked. Is there a fix or another ROM or a stable ROM to use as a daily driver?
Which one was the speedy one ?
