Since modems seem to be a hot topic around here and no one seems to find the information they need, lets see if we can consolidate the info here to help out with the clutter.
Note: This is a reference thread, not a Q & A thread
Some basic rules:
Run 2.1 modems with 2.1 ROMs
Run 2.2 modems with 2.2 ROMs
Run a modem that goes with your kernel. EX: i9000 modem with i9000 kernel or captivate modem with captivate kernel, mixing and matching is playing with fire. You've been warned.
Modem Versioning:
Modems increase in major release by incrementing the alpha, and minor release by incrementing the numeric.
So, JI6 is more recent (and presumably better) than JI2.
Using an i9000 modem and the WCDMA 850 band:
The UGJK3, UGJK4, and TLJL3 modems have rendered the below obsolete. Use one of them and you will have 850 WCDMA enabled by default.
If you're going to do this, you must start from a 2.1 based ROM and the UGJG8 modem. It does not have to be done using odin 1 click or even a stock ROM, but if you are in doubt, that is probably the best thing to do. I personally used Cog 2.1.7, then applied the UGJG8 modem, then went to a 2.2 ROM of my choice.
Once you have a 2.1 rom with the UGJG8 modem, use the service menu and verify that you are in an 850 area. *#0011#. If it does not say WCDMA 850, use the soft menu buttons and navigate to
[7] PHONE CONTROL
[7] NETWORK CONTROL
[2] BAND SELECTION
[2] WCDMA BAND
[5] WCDMA 850
This will force your phone to use the WCDMA 850 band only. If you have no service after this, you are either not in an 850 area, or 850 is too weak to be picked up. To return to all bands, simply back out one level and select [1] AUTOMATIC.
Once you've verified your WCDMA 850 band is working, you must go to an i9000 ROM that also has the UGJG8 modem. If the i9000 ROM you want to use does not offer this you will have to open the ROM's CWM zip file with winrar or your favorite zip program, find the modem.bin file and replace it with the UGJG8 modem.bin. Now use CWM to apply your modified zip and wait for it to complete its first boot. Before doing anything else, go back to CWM and apply a proper i9000 modem, current favorites are xxjpm and xxjpp. After applying the i9000 modem, return to the band selection menu and this time select
[3] GSM BAND
[1] GSM ALL
Back to BAND SELECTION
[4] COMBI BANDS
[8] WCDMA 850 (FDD V)
At this point your phone will be configured to use any GSM band available, and only the WCDMA 850 band. If you have WCDMA 850 in your area, you should be able to return to the basic settings menu and see it connected to WCDMA 850 Band 5 or something similar. If you also want to allow it to connect to WCDMA 1900 then return to the combi bands menu and select it as well. All modems seem to prefer WCDMA 1900 if it is available even if WCDMA 850 is also available.
HSUPA and you
Currently only i9000 modems will enable HSUPA which is uploading at > ~300 kbps. All modems have HSDPA enabled. As posted below, while HSUPA primarily affects upload speeds, it has a secondary effect of faster downloads and lower latency as well.
Current 2.2 Modems:
UCJJ4 - AT&T Captivate (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)
UCJI6 - AT&T Captivate (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)
XXJPP - European GT-i9000 (Does not use WCDMA 850 by default)
XXJPM - European GT-i9000 (Does not use WCDMA 850 by default)
UGJK3 - Bell Vibrant GT-i9000 (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)
UGJK4 - Bell Vibrant GT-i9000 (Uses WCDMA 850 by default) Thread
TLJL3 - Telus GT-i9000 (Uses WCDMA 850 by default) Thread
Useful 2.1 Modems:
UGJH2 - Bell Vibrant GT-i9000 (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)
UGJG8 - Bell Vibrant GT-i9000 (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)
UCJH7 - AT&T Captivate from OTA update
UCJH3 - AT&T Captivate
UCJH2 - AT&T Captivate
UCJF6 - AT&T Captivate from stock ROM
The above list is far from complete. Attached are update.zip files that can be applied with CWM or opened up to get the modem.bin file for insertion into a ROM's zip package.

Nice one. This should help out around here. I had the same idea and was gathering all the modem files. Glad i seen your thread
Thank you for this. Excellent information for someone like me who mixes and matches to get a custom rom to my liking!
I have a few questions. Why do some modems use more battery then others. If you have lets say jg8 or a jpp modem for example. I would believe they would draw the same amount since they all use the same bands. I'm sure their is more to this then just that like how specific algorithms are used to find a signal and perhaps maintain it.
I am interested in this because i would like to know for a fact which modems for i9000 and which ones for captivate would get the best battery life and signal. In order to find the best modem.
I know Eugene's old frankin twiz had the best battery life / signal i've ever seen on this phone and was wondering why it worked so well.

Was eugene doing any UVing? I have turned off the WCDMA 1900 band on my phone as it seems to always have a weaker signal than WCDMA 850 in my area. If I go off to another city or something that I think should have WCDMA coverage but isn't working on 850, I'll re-enable 1900. So far it seems like my battery is lasting longer, but it's only been today that I made the change. No undervolting yet and standard overclock. How much battery life are you after? I was probably getting about 16 - 24 hours before I made the change. I was getting better battery life with Cog 2.1.7 and undervolting, but I expect the undervolting had a considerable impact. Your best option is probably to grab some more of the i9000 2.2 modems and just run them to see if they give you any better or worse life.

Me too! Kudos and thanks!
Sticky this. Thank you!

HSUPA
Might want to add that only the I9000 modems support HSUPA.
And while HSUPA primarily benefits upload speed, there is a secondary impact on download speed. Received packets require acknowledgments (in the case of TCP, not UDP) that must be uploaded. If the upload path becomes congested, downloads will stop until received packets are acknowledged. This can happen if multiple PCs share the connection (tethering), or if multiple connections (socket connections) are in use. A single browser by itself can tie up 4 connections, more in some cases, per site. Have two browser tabs or windows open, do a file download etc., you can see how this can happen. HSUPA opens up that upload pipe.
Here is another AT&T (Captivate) Froyo 2.2 modem, JI2, and three more I9000 Froyo 2.2 modems, JP6, JPK, and JPA
These ARE NOT CWM ready, they are just the bin zipped up as XDA does not allow bin uploads.
Dudes! Once again you all freakin rock. Thank you very much for this extreemly helpful and useful thread!

I am pretty sure someone has already tried but I need to ask to make sure. Has anyone tried flashing a Vibrant radio to see if it enables the AWS band? And anyone try flashing Vibrant radio AND Vibrant ROM/kernel to see if it enables AWS?
I currently use a Captivate on T-mobile and if that works that would be amazing.
Hi, can I flash a modem while I am on running the voodoo lagfix? Or do I have to disable the lagfix before I can flash the modem? Thanks.
Nicely written thanks for all the info and downloads to all
so how about the rogers modem ?/ what is its number ? imho it clearly is the best stock modem allthough depending on what network you are on result might vary gps seems much much better on that particular modem fyi (btw I did test a few )
Thanks!! I have been doing some reading on modems and was trying to understand it all. This is def. a big big help!
So if I understand this correctly...
1. The "UCJJ4 - AT&T Captivate (Uses WCDMA 850 by default)" is a HSUPA modem, and the HSUPA is what many are after?
2. If I am already using this modem and I see WCDMA 850 Band 5 when using *#0011#... I alread have HSUPA enabled, correct?
Based on my previous question:
3. And if I wanted I could set it to solely use this or set it to automatic for 850 and 1900, right?
Thank you in advance for any insight!!
clarifications needed
Thanks for the post. I've had a lot of modem questions, and I'm glad you started this thread!
1. Since JJ4 and JI6 are Captivate modems with WCDMA 850 enabled, are any of the steps with JG8 needed if you stick with a 2.2 Captivate ROM?
2. Is the reason we want WCDMA 850 vs. WCDMA 1900 primarily for the better distance 850 gives vs 1900?
3. Does WCDMA imply HSDPA and HSUPA (when enabled in the modem)?
4. Your instructions say (after the initial stock/JG8) to put a JG8 modem in the i9000 ROM, upgrade/reboot, then apply a "proper i9000 modem." Why? This seems to mix the 2.2 ROM with a 2.1 modem. Also, if the i9000 ROM already has a 2.2 modem, why flash the JG8 one first?
TIA!
NO HSUPA on AT&T

No, read the first sentence of my post one page back on HSUPA. As I said there, NO AT&T modems have HSUPA. WCDMA implies 3G, which always implies HSDPA, but does not imply HSUPA. The highspeed upload will only be usable if you are running a correct modem/kernel pairing, and if it is available in your area.
HSUPA can be found on both 850 and 1900.

You should be fine on 850 on a Captivate rom without starting first with JG8. Just remember, this configuration will not have HSUPA if that is important to you.

Many areas only have 850.

You are correct, it does mix a 2.2 rom with a 2.1 modem. The purpose is ONLY to re-enable the 850 band. That's why you SHOULD NOT leave it this way, but replace it with a 2.2 modem as soon as you have your rom/kernel up and running on 850.
hmm... this is interesting. I'm in southern cali and my cappy always stays on 1900 band and hsupa is great so far. On speedtest, I was getting 2-3K dl and 1.5-2K upload speeds with almost full signal strength. I gotta check the wifey's cappy (still stock) and see if we have 850 in our area.
Ok guys I don't want to take credit for any of this, the credits for this discovery goes to a captivate user in USA named shoman94. Here's his post.
I'm just reporting it here so a lot of canadian galaxy s users (I9000m) will save some search. The method to enable this frequencies is pretty simple but you need to have the recovery 2e version not the 3e that comes on UGJL2 firmware version from Bell. So if you still on stock firmware and want to play arround with modem version to see if you can find a better HSPA+ connection or a better GPS, I recommend you flash the last Speedmod Kernel via odin so you have clockworkmod recovery and the ability to apply update trought zip file not signed.
The method goes like this and it is good for I9000M / I9000T. (Might not work for I9000B as there is a tv tuner antenna so the modem firmware must be different and will not work for I9000 due to hardware limitation)
You need to have a modem that comes with 850 mhz enable (UGJL2, TLJL3, UGJK3, UGJK4, UGKC1). So if it's not your case just flash one of these modem first.
Put your phone on 850 mhz only mode. To do this just dial *#2263# in samsung dialer to enter the band selection utility. Enter menu [2] WCDMA Band en press on [5] WCDMA 850 (FDD V) and it should tell you W850 Only.
(Optional) You can dial *#0011# in samsung dialer to verify that you phone is realy using 850 band.
Reboot in recovery and update your modem with BVJJPD or BVJJPG version and reboot into android
(Optional) You can dial *#0011# in samsung dialer to verify that you phone is realy using 850 band.
Reboot into recovery and update your modem with the version of you choice (XXJVK or ZSJPG or XXJQ1 or BUJS1 or XXJVE etc) and reboot phone to android
Repeat step 2 and 3 and you should have network connection on 850 only. If it's not the case then you miss something and need to start again from step 1
If everything is good dial *#2263# again to reanable all the other fequencies so your phone can chose the strongest one depending on where you are. To do so select line [1] AUTOMATIC and it should said Select GSM & WCDMA All Bands. Then touch you optical menu button and hit back. Select Line [4] COMBI BANDS and click on the only one without asterisk ([8] WCDMA 850 (FDD V)).
Enjoy any modem version with 850 Mhz enable
Here a link to download the modem needed in step 1 and 4. There is also this site wich is good to find any of the i9000 modem version. Ironically they put UGJL2 modem under captivate folder even if it's use for I9000m.
Mod : It would be nice to have it pinned or at least added to the list of How to's and Guide.
Will this also work on JVK/B? Are there any special procedures necessary for Gingerbread?

Could not say as I haven't tried GB yet. But If you can install zip from sdcard in recovery I think it will work. This would need confirmation from other user but I'm currently using JVK modem with JS8 (2.2.1) so the other way arround should work too but I can't confirm. Make a complete backup with clockworkmod (data + system) so if it doesn't work you could just restore the system partition and everything will be fine.
could you attach the necessary modem files to your first post? or maybe a link to them
will help make it stickyable!

In theory your process should work. However, I may be doing something wrong, but the gingerbread boot loader does not allow older-CWM flashing of the modem files I have found. If there is a kernel that allows flashing of older CWM files, or if I can find the .bin files of the BVJJPD or BVJJPG so that I can flash them with Odin, it should most likely work.
At this time though, I can tell you that flashing a Froyo modem such as UGJK4 on JVK/B Gingerbread works. This is the configuration I'm running right now, and my 850 MHz band seems fully operational.
pardon the noob question but I'm on a local carrier (GCI in Alaska) and my phone doesn't get 3G when I travel to areas where it exists (I'm rural). I think they want to charge for adding 3G, even though it exists only when traveling.
I found a reference how to enable it:
androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s/258859-how-enable-850mhz-3g-network-frequency-your-samsung-i9000-galaxy-s.html
but I get an error saying the selection doesn't exist when trying to choose that 850mhz.
My carrier says it isn't enabled on SIM card. Am I S.O.L.? They have a Blackberry Plan for $30/month that says includes 3G, they have a $30 Android Smartphone plan that doesn't mention it either way, and then their basic $15 data plan I think doesn't mention it except they have a 3G option for $5 extra. Otherwise I only get Edge.
I've rooted the phone to install a couple things but haven't yet flashed any new firmware - it is buggy as heck (crashes a lot) so I'm reading the forums here - it is on baseband version XXJP2, thinking I may have to try something. Saw this thread and wondered if it would be of use to me.
thanks for patience, JD

First you need to have a modem version that supports 850 Mhz to be able to enable it (i.e. UGJL2, TLJL3, UGJK3, UGJK4, UGKC1). Once you have one of these modem you might have to add the 850 band in combi bands screen before you can actually select "only 850" in WCDMA screen. If you have JP2 modem you will be able to enable 850 only mode but you won't get any reception.
I wish someone could figure out what this procedure actually does, there must be some specific difference (in settings files?) after the phone has gone through this procedure. That difference could potentially then be applied directly.
I have a slight interest in trying the newer modems but can't be bothered to jump through this many hoops.

Once you have the file on your phone it take only 2 reboot time. 10 min max. It's not that hard and I've explained every little details so every one could follow these steps. Plus you only need to do it the first time you flash a modem that's not supposed to support 850. After that you can swich to any modem and still have 850 working.
aftter doing steps 1,2 and 3 i get no reception (if i go back to 2100 mhz, i get the signal back).
thx anyway.
To the OP, you might want to mention that this will NOT enable 850mhz on phones that do not have the hardware support!
I have enabled 850 on jvk and jvb modems with this method, they work fine with js8 froyo.

All the i9000 have the same hardware, it's just that software is not there on some version. Do you really think samsung will have made a chip that support 850/900/1900/2100 and another one with only 900/1900/2100. Complete waste of time to change the assembling line plus there is report of people with i9000 having reception on 850 band with this method.

If your operator uses 2100 frequencies it might not be using 850 too. Here in north america, operators use 850 and 1900 frequencie so we need to have both available but if your operator doesn't broadcast on 850 then you wont have any network!! My guess is that your operator uses 2100/900 or 2100/1900 frequencies or maybe they only have one. Where are you from?

Sorry sir, but you are completely wrong.
Samsung has a variety of modem chipsets used in their Galaxy S phones worldwide.
In the USA, Captivate has 850/1900/2100. Vibrant has 1700/1900/2100.
Elsewhere I believe the regular I9000 has 900/1900/2100 and the I9000M has 850/1900/2100.
There is not just one model and there is no way to activate a band on a phone whose modem is not compatible.
I wish all phones just had all bands (Nokia and Apple do the best job of this) but we are not there yet unfortunately. I too would think it would be more economical, but there could be other reasons like carrier lock in (i.e. in the US you can't switch a Vibrant to AT&T or a Captivate to T-Mobile without loosing 3G coverage).

That's why I said I9000 refering to i9000/i9000m/i9000t. The galaxy S in the US are all f***ed up. I Don't understant why samsung has to made such different model.
Then how do you explain that it's impossible to have 850 band working on any modem other than UGJL2, TLJL3, UGJK3, UGJK4 or UGKC1 without using this method. Be my guest and try to get 850 band on JPJ, JVK or any other european modem without using this methode in the first place. If you already did then it's not valid as the 850 band will stay. But I can confirm you that if you skip the part about BVJJPD or BVJJPG and then you try to turn on 850 band in the service mod with JVK you will never get reception on 850. I've tried it before I found this method on captivate forum.
So I might be wrong but I think it just a firmware limitation or compatibilities that blocks 850 bands when you have european or asian modem.
Flashing BVJJPD or BVJJPG does something special and after that you have 850 available regardless of the modem firmware you use.
If the limitation is realy hardware then samsung is complettly stupid but they seems to have learn their lesson as the SGS 2 is advertise as HSPA+ 850/900/1900/2100.
But I don't think we have any way of confirming any of these theory out of any doubt so I'll change my first post.
Back in december 2010, my i9000 worked just fine on froyo, with an provider that operates on 850 mhz for GSM and 2100 mhz for 3G. My work made me move to another provider which operates in 1800 mhz for GSM and 850 mhz for 3G. Also, my phone was great. Gingerbread came and, as everyone else, I made my update (and of course changed the bootloaders). The problem: I'm back to my old provider again (850/2100 mhz) and, as strange as it may seem, my phone can't connect to the gsm frequency (850) anymore! The 3G works with no problem. I've tested lots of modems, configurations, I have even returned to froyo, with no positive response. It seems like my phone has never had the gsm 850 mhz option. What has happened? Is it possible that my GSM frequencies have changed (by software?) Does the bootloader have anything to do with this? I'm just as confused as I can be! And I need my phone to work! Help me please!
Edit: DID IT!!!! I don´t know what was currupted, but I did a full format : SD,Sys,Data,Cache and after that I made a new ECLAIR (JM9) install and.... voillà....2G 850Mhz working again! Txs for the attention!
Can anyone help me? I have an LG g2 d802 in software version says d80220b, my carrier works with 2g and 3g on 900 mhz and LTE on 1800 mhz but after configure the apn settings the phone only connect to 2g/edge network... No 3g or LTE... I selected wcdma prefered but nothing happened it continues on edge connection... I used my brother's simcard (another phone company) that works 3g on 1800 mhz, installed and worked without problems and i dont know why .... My phone description says that works hspda on 900 mhz and LTE on 1800 mhz ... i've heard in another forum that maybe my phone have an Asian version of the software, but how can i check that? ... Help me please i'm tired of 2g/edge connection ...

Did you find solution? I have same issue not connecting to 900mhz 3g
Hello. I have a Xiaomi Redmi 2 2014811 subversion which doesn't have the 850 GSM band that I need in the rural area where I live.
I have seen that the submodel 2014819 (Brazil) has this band and I would like to know if is possible to change the baseband by flashing any software.
In other words: Are submodels 2014811, 2014819 the same hardware with different radio/modem partition softwares or have they different hardwares?
I have seen that with other mobiles like Moto E 2015 is possible to change the region of the baseband by software:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/help/question-models-bands-t3163453
Thanks
I hope someone can help you with this
Hi, I'm Brazilian and got the HM2014819, as soon as I get the partition table I will upload it for you TO TRY of course after a Nandroid Backup by you. I will upload if the size match with my data plan :good:
Well, I don't know if you will can successfully flash it, and if it will work.
Going to dump the modem here in a .img that you can flash or make a flash zip
Thanks Lennoard, but I think is not a modem issue. I am on the way to Unlock the GSM bands in the Qualcomm, if it would be possible.
I have followed all the steps in
- Unlocking Basebands on MI4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4/general/unlocking-basebands-mi4-t2879685)
- Unlock all bands of your Qualcomm device! Use your phone globally! No bs! (http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...ad-progress-please-leave-im-updating-t2871269)
- [Q & A] how can i enable qualcom diagnostic mode? SOLVED (http://en.miui.com/thread-100458-1-1.html)
Now, if I read the NV_RF_BC_CONFIG_I (#1877) from phone, the value is changed and all GSM and WCDMA bands are enabled, included the GSM 850 MHz band.
But I cannot connect to any GSM band and doesn't recognize any GSM provider in the area.
Bad luck
Anybody has tried this way with success?
Thanks
Anybody changed the basebands of a xiaomi redmi 2 in the qualcomm way with success?
I've tried the Qualcomm method and so far it's not working. Whenever I tried to add GSM/WCDMA bands, my phone keeps restarting. But, I can confirm that I can disable bands. When I tried to add LTE bands 5(850mhz) and 28(700mhz), the phone didn't restart but after disabling all other LTE bands, I'm quite sure the phone couldn't detect those bands. I don't think I can enable it because well... someone with an OPO couldn't... and 700mhz is just really low...
I don't know what's causing my phone to restart everytime I've added additional bands. What rom and you using? I'm using resurrection remix.

Thanks. Now I doesn't feel so lonely.
I did the changes of NV with MIUI v7 installed in the phone and indeed, the changes are still present and the mobile works exactly like before the changes. I read the NV and the bands are enabled, but still doesn't connect to any different bands than before.
It is strange the behaviour you get with a different rom. The NVs should be not affected by the ROM, it isn't?
Which submodel of redmi 2 do you have? Is possible that different hardware or antennas could be assembled in the different submodels of this mobile?
Thanks

I'm using 2014813, I wanted to add 900mhz wcdma which 2014811 has, but I chose 2014813 because it supported more lte frequencies that my carrier uses. There's also some lte frequencies that both models don't support which I tried to add.
I'll try to add bands with miui tomorrow.

I've flashed miui. So far instead of my phone restarting after trying to connect, the radio keeps turning off and on.
Ups! What a different behaviour! Is it maybe because you are changing the NVs for 4G/LTE? I only enabled all the 2G and WCDMA (3G) Bands and didn't changed anything in the 4G and my phone just works and detects networks exactly like before, nothing looked like to change.

Have only messed with 2G/3G so far, adding 900mhz wcdma is still causing issues for me. I can enable 850mhz gsm but I don't know if it would actually work because no carrier uses 850mhz gsm here.
What are the steps you did to try to get 850mhz gsm to work?

According to the specs:
HM2014813 Is "China Mobile 4G Dual-Sim Version". It Supports These Network Bands/Frequencies:
4G Network : TDD-LTE (B38 / B39 / B40 / B41: 2555-2655 MHz); FDD-LTE (B3 / B7)
3G Network : TD-SCDMA (1900 / 2100 MHz); WCDMA (850 /1900 / 2100 MHz)
2G network : GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz)
The phone should have an antenna capable to work at 900 MHz, because it uses this frequency for GSM, then, adding support for WCDMA 900 MHz is not a radio issue but a logic one. Doesn't it?

I basicaly followed this steps:
Unlock all bands of your Qualcomm device! Use your phone globally! No bs!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...ad-progress-please-leave-im-updating-t2871269
I enabled all the bands using the NV calculator and saved the value that after restarting is still stored, but nothing changed. The phone is working since this (2 weeks ago) exactly like before, no any strange behaviour.
Then... still there are no signs of anybody saying that this method works with this model.
But I don't loose the faith

I don't know if antenna placement is different but the modem between the sub models aren't compatible with each other. This is what I would need to do to get any signal at all.
With mztool, try selecting only 850mhz gsm and edit the RF BC Config as well as the Band Preference values and see what happens.
I think I might need to conclude that I have not been able to get 900 mhz wcdma working on my 2014813 despite the 2014811 having it. Also with LTE I haven't been able to unlock any additional bands.
Hii all, I'm interested with this topic too.
I would like to add LTE band40 which 2014813 has.
What happen if i flash baseband from rom 2014813 to 2014811 ?
Here my baseband radio on crdroid [imgur.com/wgrMqPk]

Flashing the 2014813 modem on your 2014811 would probably lose your signal. This or this is what would need to be done if you have a 2014813 and flashed a rom with a 2014811 modem in it.
Happy new year to you, all. @MagMar I already try to flash 2014813 modem to my 2014811..it is no signal but imei n baseband are find..but my 4g card display correctly at lte discovery..so maybe you can share nv config value (like nv 1877, 6828 n 2others) that 2014813 have...n i think lte freq dependent with 3g freq also

While I've flashed 2014811, my phone does recognise the imei and baseband but it'll tell me that I have no service. Both models do share some of the same bands so it should be able to connect assuming both models have a supported band to the carrier. This is why I think that flashing different modems and editing the NVs won't work.

Mine is 2014813(running a mokee 60.1 rom), too. I've tried to add wcdma 900 through changing the four nv values specified by the mztool and fdd b1&b8 through changing the lte_bc_config nv value. So far everything seems to be fine. While, I not sure whether those changes are successful or not. Do you have any idea how to confirm that those added bands are working or not?
