Light Flow - Nexus One General

Anyone else use this app? I have had it for a while and all of a sudden it's not working. I can't figure out if it's because I just did a wipe and fresh install of everything or the recent update (that added contacts?).
Anyone else have it working/not working?

Many have it working. Check the developer's thread in the Nexus apps section...Andrew replies to all questions!
here

It works perfectly for me. Make sure you dollow the instructions when you open it for the first time.

Yeah, is was just another setting on the phone. I knew it was something like that, but I couldn't find exactly where. The app developer helped me when I emailed him.
Great service!!

Greatest app ever for me

No landscaped people app?

I am trying to use my evo to create and edit contact info for work and I'm noticing that I can't get the people app to go into landscaped mode so I can input faster.
I looked for alternative several times the last few days and only came up with a app that worked but it was in Chinese.
I'm stock everything so what is everyone else doing to get around this? I'm sure the root scene folks probably got this figured out but who knows.

Google's greenness is upon us.

Hey guys. This is just strictly informative seeing as how I just stumbled on to it. When you delete an email from your account the deleted conversation box is now in green.
I wonder if anything else has been changed on the low?
Again, just a find that I wanted to share.

Im pretty sure its been that way for a while, at least since the latest gmail update
I thought it was just in grey?? Ohh well, maybe I just noticed it now...

If you like the green, you can now get the green gingerbread launcher in the market... ported by MoDaCo

It has been that way for quite a while now.

Why so many apps missing?!

OK, so after the Gingerbread update a TON of stuff I purchased in the market is no longer available.
Tweetcaster pro, FIFA, Abduction world attack, Paypal (official), The Sims..... What gives? I've never stolen software for Android, and I don't want to. I want my apps back! Ideas?

Use this apk to fix your market. Reboot. Should solve your problems.
Didn't work. :L Man, this is SUPER annoying.
You sure you did it right? I had the same exact problem with my apps...a lot of people have. That's the fix. Before I applied it, my Slingplayer wasn't showing up in the market...30 freaking dollar app..now it is.
I downloaded the .apk, installed, then rebooted. Nothing. Are you on Gingerbread?
Could someone running GB tell me if they can find tweetcaster pro or FIFA in the market?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
You need to run the app though lol. After you install, open your app drawer and run Market Fixer. Click Fix, THEN reboot. Yes, I'm on Gingerbread.
[thread jack alert!] wondering why sims doesnt show up in my market? any suggestions?

So if were not rooted this won't fix the issue?
I've had this problem for weeks. On stock 2.2, rooted and the apk didn't help. Seriously annoying bug.
Me Two
I don't believe it. I fell for the same thing. I just thought you installed it and it was suppose to fix. which it didn't. Been tryin to figure this out for two days. LOL. What an idiot me. Well at least I wasn't alone. hehehe

I was able to fix this, as I seemed to get a version update on my Market stealth (as it had the AdMob setting added to my Settings screen, where 2 days ago, it wasn't there). When that happened, all my apps returned.
Right before I found this, I did run the APK from above, but I used QuickReboot to reboot. Coincidence?
Now to get the 55 updates I missed over the past month...
I'm not rooted. That was the issue. I don't want to root either. EA Games took care of me. Now to email handmark.... :L

May I ask you why you don't want to root?
I know it's a dumb question, but have you checked the market website? I had a similar issue and was able to find and download the missing apps through the site.

Not only was it not a dumb question, but I had not even THOUGHT of it! So far I am getting everything back, but Tweetcaster pro. Keeps saying it will be sent to my device and isn't...we shall see! THANKS!

You're welcome. It's good to know that there's at least one part of the market we can rely on.

Apps Compatible with 3.1 CWM Style

Alright guys with the new recovery that emerged and the 1.4 Prime port. Just wanted to make a post for people that have used it. To say state and list here.
1. Apps that used to work and now do not.
2. Apps that now work that didn't before. (i.e. netflix)
I have been at work all day and will be flashing when I get home would just like a centralized thread for people to post the apps that do and do not work. Then I will update them in the OP. So people know which ones work and maybe we can work together to get them fixed.
XDA app still FC
Hmmm seems to be working fine for me.

Gps fix for ELK4 leak

I thought I would stary a new thread as it appears lots of us including myself have the issue where gps signal is lost and does not regain. Please please could someone help to fix its the only thing stopping his rom being perfect for me. This is quite inportant feature for me so desperatly need a fix. Please one of you amazing devs take a look and assist?

DEVs you require... Hmmm... why not United Nations?
OK, Here is something just for you...
I'm just in doubt if you'd be able to apply it as you were not able to find it by yourself...
Xda is not a place for rudeness we are here to help each other before you get on your high horse and waste the effort of creating a patronising video of how to use google. This reason for my post is because this is a specific problem with the elk4 leak. If you read the other threads you would have seen others have tried agps and it still does not work. Hence my post.

1. Rudeness citation, please;
2. It is not a video it is a webpage based service created fot peoples who are unable to use search button in XDA forum or at Google, therefore, although I like your way of thinking, there is no high horse on the horizon, sorry. But... my concerns about your ability to use the patch are even bigger now, as you have thought it is a video created especially for you...
3. If you have specific problem, it would be better place for it, namely: Q&A, just below the general section of forum.
Last but not least: I have read ALL cited by me thread. No single comment about non working with your ROM, therefore, if you're giving such statement, provide link to the post, please.
You should have post this in Q&A section. Anyway I think it's kernel related just flash Siah kernel see if it's fix your problem but Siah kernel isn't fully compatible with this ROM yet so it will break your video recording.

Well this would make it one. This particular firmware gps problem is not related to whatever patch does, therefore it is not solved by a patch. Now if someone has idea or solution.... Doubt it anyways, and since I'm depending heavily on navigation for my work, back to lj5 patiently waiting for jkay, till next leak and next round of testing.
Testing JKay alpha on GT-I9300
Just noticed gps problems today, is there a fix? I previously didnt wipe. But flashed again full wipe. Not tested yet.

I can confirm that this worked for me today:
I had just installed Omega 33, and was trying to use GPS to navigate, but was not getting a good on my location (although I seemed to have a certain amount of accuracy to my position). I turned the GPS off and on again, and what little accuracy present went away and I never got the GPS lock.
I used the app known as "Fasterfix" from the play store. It needs root privileges in order for it to modify the "GPS.conf" file.
I live in India. Hence I chose my server as Asia-> India (it sets it to in.pool.ntp.org or something like that). There was no need to reboot. After this, I was successfully able to navigate without any problems.
Try it out and let me know whether it works.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
My problem was never getting a fast lock, it was holding onto it. When I would press navigate i would drive certain distance and would notice my position is few streets behind, then would get prompt gps lost, never to return. Turn off gps toggle, turn on later, aquire lock. Rinse and repeat.

You are saying the aGPS patch works, although from what I have read it's a completely unrelated problem, please show me it worked. If there is already a fix posted you should be straight linking it with a "please use the search next time" that's a helpful post.
And do you even know the problem, have you ever looked in the leaked firmware thread, I barely see you (checking the forums multiple times every day) and when I do see you your posts are rude, with absolutely no intelligence what so ever.
Did someone try to reflash the modem?
I can't try it right now, I will do it later and report.

Switch off gos and location services in. Settings.
Reboot
Switch everything back on.
GPS should work fine after that.

Still, your heaven-reaching intelligence is unable to provide link to citation that this patch is not working? Well, ok, you may be busy learning how to distinguish between web page and video...
Finally, I have no time to look on the forum several times per day, as I have plenty other things to do, for example to drive somewhere using SGS3 as SatNav device, which is (comparing crappy chipset as SGS 1 with brilliant chip at SGS3) - just a pleasure.
Therefore, sorry but I will disappoint you in the future as well.
Finally, feel free to not test any patch, but to look on the video created especially for you in the web by someone special...

You are the one trying to prove something you should provide the link because obviously you know of a thread full of people who have had it work. You can't spout crap as facts then say its up to others to prove it.
