Maybe you can close the running apps with a manager-app and they disappear from the list
But I think there is a better way

Any more info on this?

I don't have it on my phone anymore but it was somewhere under menu > preferences from the home screen. You could order it alphabetically or by order installed etc.
You can't order apps on TWLauncher. In list mode it's listed alphabetically. In icon mode you have to manually drag them around....

[Q] Stock Android Widgets now 3x1. How dot I fix this?

If any of you have GEL installed, you would know that the Google Play Music widget that was 4x1 is now 3x1. I am assuming this is to do with the DPI changes. How do I fix this?
Also it would be good if the icons were smaller.
Screenshot as a reference.

If memory serves me right, by pressing and holding on the Homescreen, you'll see a settings menu for GEL. That might solve your problem.

Nope sorry. The settings come up, but they are settings for google search as opposed to the actual launcher.

Is there anything in the regular Settings menu for this?
if not, you might want to try an alternative Launcher. There is one on google play that looks just like GEL : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kk.launcher

it didn't work or there's no option for that.
There are 3 options popping out
the 2nd one is launch google search
the 3rd one is clear the ongoing apps
the 1st one is divided into active apps, downloaded apps, RAM, clear default, and storage
I've checked all of them and there's no option to change certain app

[Q] Block recent apps and status bar

Hi,
I installed "One Locker" from the Play Store ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobile.onelocker ) and I noticed when I press the home button, the app don't close. Also, I can't pull down the status bar.
How is this possible without setting the app as a launcher, like many other lockscreen apps are doing?
Question is also in the following post.

It is possible by overriding the onUserLeaveHint() method of the activity class and using the AlarmManager class. But as a security feature, the task u want to perform starts after 5 seconds. If u want to remove this delay then ull have to write ur own HomeLauncher.

I want to avoid that because if I use Nova launcher for example and set my lockscreen app as launcher (Nova will be opened by my app), then Nova will be in the recent apps and I really don't like this.

Go to your home screen settings (long press home screen>click settings cog) and disable notification dots....otherwise, you just have to open them as you mentioned and they'll go away

If there are too many apps I go to phone settings=>apps and clear launcher data.
