GSD??

Has anyone actually figured out what that is?
I was wondering, with the new 2.1 roms, every now and then it will poll the market to see if you have any apps that have been updated and give a notification that updates are available.
Could the GSD be doing that? Or does anyone know what does that check?

I'm running with this removed and I still get the Market notifications, so I dont think that is what it is. I've heard its an HTC testing application... I haven't really looked into it either but it doesn't seem important.

Touchwiz app connection errors

Hi, please tell me im not the only one that's annoyed when you reply to an update in the friends feed for twitter or face book and even write and go, you get a message that says update failed or connection error... it happens almost every time. Anyone knows what the issue might be? its beyond annoying when you want to use the widgets and reply on the go. They are fun to use but not when you keep getting an error message.

well how rude... i know yall have been reading this.. yall can either confirm or dismiss the problem with a comment. doesn't take long. I just want to know if it's just me experiencing the issue. get back to me peoples

gtalk suddenly doesnt work, whats up?

so i have the good version of gtalk, with video chatting, but all of a sudden, contacts dont show up.. i reinstalled it completely, but for some reason, i still cant get any contacts to show up.. anybody have an idea whats up? is anyone else getting this? it opens, but displays no contacts, almost like its waiting for a connection or something

Did you happen to install the video add-on apk that was floating around for root users? Mine started acting the same way. I ended up reflashing a new ROM to fix mine. Its been flawless since.

yes thats the one i have installed.. hmm so its acting up for you too eh, i wonder if its something on googles side thats messing us up.. is anyone else getting this ?

Happens me too. Its the root apk one with the video chat from 2.3.4 also. I'm sure this will work fine once we get a proper 2.3.4 ROM

same problem as a few other apps i have messed with
Don't think there is a fix for this - in the meantime you could just hit www.CNN.com and click video - it works pretty well in stock browser.

what is Sys.gr.snitt?

I was wondering, does anyone here know what that is? I was playing a game, and all the sudden I got a root access request from that thing.. Tried to Google it, but I couldn't find anything specific explaining what that could be. Does any of you smart people know what this is by any chance? Adding a screenshot of my supersu!
