Good Day !
I turned on my A500 (rooted) this morning and my location and weather widgets were gone. I had to reinstall them and had the weather widget kept crashing. It finally worked the third time. Anyone else having similar problems? Thanks !

I think it's normal to lose all your widgets when rooting. It happened to me too.

are you using any type of launcher or widget locker?
Thanks for the replies. I rooted my A500 a couple of days ago... I have turned off a few times in between. (Adding media to SD card, etc). I am not using any launcher or widget locker. I rebooted a few times just now and everything seems to be back to normal.

Hey guys,
I just installed the JI6 update on my Vibrant yesterday. When I add the Beautiful Widgets Weather on my homescreen it doesn't update. Has anyone else had this problem?

Did you delete the widget and re-add it?
Check your city information?
Swith from accuweather to google?
Did you check to refresh on waking up the phone?
1. I opened up App Brain and synced it with my phone and all the apps I had installed pre-JI6 were there waiting to be installed. I just chose to install from there again.
2. I put in my location, tested, and also then checked Geolocation.
3. I have it set to Accuweather, I have not tried using Google.
4. Refresh is checked.

Quick update.
I uninstalled and re-installed Beautiful Widgets. I then put the widget back on the home screen and it now works.
Thanks for giving me the idea of just uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Had problems with the weather widget too
I had to uninstall and reinstall but from time to time it seems to time out... in my case I just figured it must have some conflict with something else I installed because the problem is just too random

For the last week, everything on my home screen has been disappearing. Sometimes my apps and widgets will there, but usually they won't. If anyone has any tips/suggestions I would appreciate it.

U need to give more info than that to be helped. Did u put apps on the sd card?
I had this happen to me before too, shortly after I installed Launcher Pro. It was happening on the stock launcher (icons disappearing from the home screen). After I installed a 3rd launcher, ADWLauncher, everything seemed to finally work again. FWIW.

Only time this ever happened to me was on my n1 when I was putting apps on the sd card

Yesterday i turned on my iconia and all the Widgets were gone off the home screens. The app shortcuts were still there but no Widgets. Also noticed my YouTube widget is a 1x4 now and looks funky. Anybody else have this issue? Is it the iconia or honeycomb?

I am using ADW launcher EX and just blamed it on that. What about you?
I lost mine when I did the upgrade, but no issues since.
I am having issues where the widgets disappear and a 'Loading' message appears; the only way to fix it is to do a reboot.
I'm using the stock launcher. I didn't even have a loading message. Widgets just disappeared. Tried rebooting several times but that didnt work. I ended up reinstalling all the widgets yesterday and everything seems to be alright now. Also my YouTube widget is back to a 3x2 so that's good. I dunno seems like a honeycomb bug or something.
I had the same problem.
Suddenly the widgets were gone, each of them replaced by a grey icon saying "error loading widget".
Rebooting several times didn't fix that.
I use adw es too and i noticed that if i switched to the stock launcher the widget worked but returning again to adw they were still missing.
I had to remove the widgets and reload them.
I think it' related to Adw.

I've had the issue as well. When I added the Music (official Google app) icon to the home screen they all reappeared. Likely just adding any icon to the home screen will bring them back up.

Problem loading widget is an ADW error, likely. I've had it before, usually if I do a wipe then restore my desktop settings via ADW and the widget isn't available.
Now, with know that error is due to the widget not being found, it definitely appears like the Iconia is for some reason not loading the widget, like it can't find them in the system or something. Hope this one gets addressed.
about a week ago just as i switched to CM7 on my HD2 and Nexus One, i noticed that Google weather widget stopped working. I have to press refresh multiple times in order for it to lock the locstion. anyone else experience this? I mean it works but, but most of the time I see "no weather information"
i had the same problem with some other roms(sense 3.4, miui or cyanogenmod)

everything worked fine on Miui. I remember a long tIME ago its weather channel that had problems with providing info for widget to work. I am thinking maybe they screwed up something again
Sorry if this has been addressed, but the search function in XDA has been down for the last couple of days. I have a problem when I turn on my phone from the lock screen, the Accuweather widget will display "Restart Widget, Problem loading widget". Not a big deal as it has a button to easily do that, but it can be restarted, I can lock the phone, and 5 seconds later unlock it and it will display this. It doesn't do it all of the time, but probably half of the time. It will do it with the normal widget and the transparent one as well. I don't think it's the widget because I have other widgets (like a kill apps button that will display the text "Ending All Applications" and it won't work all of the time either. I never noticed this before I rooted my phone. I have an AT&T S4 with MF3 firmware. This happens while on stock or custom roms also. Anyone have any similar happenings or suggestions to help?

I had the exact issue just a day or two ago - I just got annoyed and totally uninstalled the widget, restarted the phone, reinstalled the widget and haven't had a problem since. Give that a shot if you haven't?

I'm currently on the stock rom and opened up Titanium Backup to uninstall it. It wasn't named SamsungWidget_Weather as I would have expected. Can you let me know the name of the app that you uninstalled? I'll give your suggestion a try.
