Can anybody else not see the market updates in the my app section in 3.1? I had to find the app and press manage to update flash and tested it by unistalling the update. All I get is the list of my installed apps. All the ones with updates disappear.

Yeah as of right now i can't see the update portion of the market without going to each individual app, I've tried rebooting, clearing cache/data, fc-ing. Can anybody else just tell me if they can see this part of the market?
yeap, same here
Market made a big update, they extends app purchases to 99 more countries.
And as you can see web market have a update.

Recently I had the up to date market that other devices have with the "update all" button but I was having issues with apps so I had to wipe the data and uninstall the updates on the market app, now I cant get it back. Can anyone tell me how to? updating apps individually is so yesterday..
Wait till the market updates itself? Maybe a reboot will help.
tried. its been missing over a week now and it aint even come back with the recent OTA update :/
That's strange. The latest OTA update gave me that market.

I only got it today after some tweaking. Go into the Market, then open the phone settings>applications>manage apps> market updater> force close and then relaunch Market

No it didn't, Market updated day or two before the OTA and has nothing to do with it (I'm refering to 1.37.405).
I've got a solution that worked for me (reinstalled market updates).
Open a task killer and go to settings. Enable something like "show system processes". Go back to task killer and kill market and market updater.
Open the market from app drawer or such, accept terms of use and youre done.
This worked for me.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem with the new Market. 3.0.27?
When I go to update a few apps that need updating they will update, then an hour later or so they show up again in the list of apps under Marketplace that need updating.
It's like it re-populates itself. I updated Trulia, Chomp, & something else & it shows there is still an update when there actually isn't. Is there anyway to clear this, or is this some type of bug?
I've tried to update Chomp like 5x & it is still the same version & even shows it was updated. All of the sudden it shows up again in the Market as needing updated.
It's like the Market won't clear it as already being updated.
Does the same thing to me. Very annoying.

At least i'm not the only one
Haven't tried the info below your post though.
Odd deal though.
Mine stays like that even after I update apps, but goes away after a while.

I have .27 but it still has the problem of not showing all of my apps in the "my apps" section. I've tried to clear data & cache which did nothing. I never noticed this in the old Market but downgrading doesn't fix it either so i am back on the new 1... any1 know how to fix it?
So there seems to be a bug somewhere, but who knows where. Is there anyway to contact Google or post somewhere about this issue? Since you can't download it from the Marketplace (since it is the Marketplace) where do you post these bugs?
Mine still shows all 3 as updates. Also too i've noticed that automatic updates sometimes unchecks itself. I'll look at the Chomp update & it is greyed out when I actually checked it.
All I know is that it is annoying & needs a fix So if anyone finds one, please let us know.
I actually never had that problem with the last Market so I assume it is the file.
No issues on stock froyo.

Does it with Go Launcher and Go SMS and it's pissing me off
I wonder if the ROM has anything to do with it or the version of the Android OS we are running.
I'm on 2.2.1
ACS 1.2
Genocide 2.0
That's what i'm running on mine.

IDK but I wish Google would fix it. I am running stock & have never rooted my device. I don't think I've seen the unchecking issue but it never has all my apps in the "my apps" section. Even when I did the last Maps update it was in there then I opened the market later & it was not in there. I can go to the app in the Market & on it's page it still shows as installed & set to autoupdate but never stays in the "my apps" section. I can see a few apps that stay in there like they should but most do not.
Thank God for Appbrain though otherwise updating apps or at least checking if apps had updates would be much more difficult
Did it to Facebook with me. That was the only time though.
Mine was doing this. Clearing data and cache from the app settings didn't solve it, but I used Titanium to detach the relevant apps from the market, then reattached with Titanium; it seems to have worked. I'm hoping this is just a temporary glitch that will get resolved.

I wish there was a fix for this now because I noticed that if you have an app that goes thru an update then the auto-update checkbox gets un-checked after you update. I noticed this with Friendcaster & Picasa Tool's latest updates
I have a g2 and some apps which have updates such as angry birds or facebook have no update or even uninstall button, just open, can I get some help? Thanks, ill post a picture of what I'm talking about in a second

So are you rooted?
If so, use something like Titanium Backup to wipe market data or do a cache wipe and reboot. That's how most market issues are fixed.
Unless they are pirated, I've noticed on the new market it will pick them up but you cannot manage them.
Apps preinstalled cannot be uninstalled (unless rooted). And the new market sometimes fails to show the update button, and will sometimes show an update even if there is none. Don't worry, it eventually works itself out. Google was supposedly pushing out a better version that is slightly less buggy.

I updated to the newest version manually and that fixed my problem.
I am on Cognition 1.5.1 with JKay's v.10.1 theme. It all started yesterday. I can't seem to receive any updates and the notifications as well. I've turned on update notifications, mind you. I also can't seem to download anything at all. The progress bar would just be stuck on 'downloading' for the whole time.
I've tried clearing data, uninstalling updates, using 3G or wireless but to no avail.
I have a friend who is on GingerMOD Vanilla v0.4b and he is having the same problem as well
Anyone having this issue as well? Do you reckon it is Google's issue?

EDIT: Title should read Market 3.1.5 not receiving updates.
Not uncommon for this to be Google's fault, but I've managed to download a couple of things just fine in the last 24 hours.
Update notifications are pretty useless, I never seem to get them until I actually open the Market app by which time I already know there's updates.
Do you have issues if you try downloading an app you've never had installed before?

You're not the only one, version 3.1.3 was buggy as hell, 3.1.5 a lil better, but still takes ages to load installed apps on phone's data, shows updates when there's none, hangs when trying to update or download new apps. Strange thing is market works fine if i access apps from appbrain market app, so it's definetely a problem in the google market app as downloads start and work fine if redirected from other apps.
Update: All is good for now. I can finally download apps again. Google's problem it is! Cheers.

Hello, I have a lot of market app that showing an update eventhough it is updated already. Like when I click them there's no update option only open and uninstall. It annoys me so much that's why when I select 'my apps' on the market I have to tap each app to see if there is already a legitimate updates. It is 3.1.6, I'm encountering this even on 3.1.5...
Any solution to this?
I've get this too, been driving me up the wall!
Clearing cache, wiping market data etc, nothing stops it
I had this happen also and thought I was the crazy one.
Personally i hate the new market app upgrade.
It shows very few of the apps i actually have installed, therefore i have to manually search each app to find out if there is an update available.
Therefore, i just found it better to keep to uninstall my market update, stick with the old market app and freeze the market updater.
I found the new market app far too slow anyway.
Its the new market and on all Android phones, very annoying and seems to be getting worse too
