[Q] any t-mo working builds yet? all tried and fail with data a

all tried and fail with data and or wifi connecting not working

I am using the nexusHD2 build and absolutely everything worked out of the box with out any setup.
Format your sd card and install a minimal winmo rom.

i am using MDJ FroYo HD v.4.1 and it works fine for me

Did you set apn? If you just updated kernel did you update the modules?

Gotta give us more than "all tried and failed". What WM rom and radio are you using? How did you install the Android builds and what did they do when they failed?
All recent builds should be working almost 100%, you definitely shouldn't be having data/wifi issues at this point

1) Post in the Q and A forum.
2) When you post in the right forum, detail your setup
3) Watch the answers roll in.

Have you tried the Topia Series? You can find a link in my sig. T-Mobile works out of the box.

i tried that build and after the first reboot it went crazy force close back to back

yea im currently using that build as well but it has some issues when wifi is on switching from edge or H

well im using my tmo hd2 radio 2.15 hspl 3 stock 2.14 rom
for most of the roms i couldnt get a data connection when in wifi mode
other than that the robot voice boots with it and that stop the tryout progress

ive tried lots of the builds, and had all of them working with tmo, data and mms working

adfree + java.io.EOFexception

I got a problem with the app Addfree.
I installed it on CM7 (android 2.3) but when I want to update the host file it get's me this weird error: java.io.EOFexception
I tried all things I found on google but nothing worked. Does this app just don't work with 2.3 or is there something else?

It was working on MDJ's 1.8 Gingerbread NAND build, but I upgraded to 2.4 today and I get the same error. I don't know if adfree changed, or if its something with the newer build.

I'm pretty sure adfree changed. I'm still using MDJs MC7 1.7 and it has stopped working on that as well.

Ok thanks for the reply's because it was driving me frickin nuts.
Android will never be the same without adfree :'(

I've tried the market ( market.android.com ) but it doesn't work for me. I can touch the install button, but it doesn't go to my mobile. So it does nothing. I'm on Wildpuzzle maybe gives Wildpuzzle the problems?

I doubt it. But I'm using CM 7.
On the top of the website (next to the sign in button) there's a "My market account" link which lists up all apps which are installed on your phone (Order tab). There's also a Settings tab which shows your phone models you are using with your account.
do you see this?

I can see these options... I think I must change my ROM... Or could you maybe try with Wildpuzzle? I don't have time right now.

Ok, then it's Wildpuzzle.

I was using Wildpuzzle till 2 weeks back (v0.6. not 0.8), and, market worked perfectly for me.

Works perfectly at me One tap on market.android.com and phone just downloading the app.They've made a lot of progress.

Which ROM does you have?

I'm using CM7 #34 and was checking on xperia x10 mini pro 2.1 and neither problems.

fine on stock froyo rom and on the tab

Wildpuzzle market was working fine for me ... i'm on CM7 and that is working fine also if you put the google apps.

[Q] Marketplace problems

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with downloads. I flash new rooms all the time and have never had problems before, flashed pongsters build tonight and wouldn't work with Marketplace, but now on flashing back to three other rooms which I have used before, it still won't work?

I just experienced Thema Same with my htc hd2 ob mdjs cyanogenmod 7 whatever Apple I tried Tor Download it won't load .. maybe its about customroms themself? Or the android market has a Problem?

whaterver I try to dl... operation unsuccessful try again blah blah..

Looks like it's been fixed. I was having the same problem and tried again just now and it's working OK again.

[Q] Cyanogenmod and the market

Hi all,
I've just rooted ad installed cyanogen mod 6.1.1 on my wife's phone. So far everything works perfectly except that I cannot install anything from the market place.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be?

Which kernel do you use?
Try other aviable kernels- some have problems with native AppsOnSd.
For sure FrozenLake kernel wirks good (download on samdroid.net), Xmister's had problems with this. Can't say how other behave- I didn't test them.

Hi.... i Have a samsung spica i5700. updated to 2.2.2 with spicagenmod-froyo-beta2....
the problem is i cant find a correct HTC keypad version for my phone.....i tried both the latest versions of v.27.... i get a error message '' the application HTC_mod (process jonasl.ime) has stopped unexpectedly"
Pls help....

If you are still looking for the keyboard, go on to the forum post and scroll until you get past the whole changelog then it says old versions. I think it's v.3, says next to it that it supports spica.
