i have aim 2.0 but it doesnt work
it says proxy isnt connected or something like that
it wont connect it says the host name and proxy isnt correct or something
what can i do to fix this problem im having

What rom are you using? Do you have a data plan? or are you trying to run a proxy hack?

i dont know exactly what rom it is but i think it was the latest one... yea i have a data plan.. but when my buddy flashed a new rom in it took out the aim and stuff that the rom originally had on 6.0 so then he put aim 2.0 in and now im stuck any suggestions?

Well, the reason I ask what rom you're running ... is because if you have flashed a new rom on there, and haven't setup your network... the phone doesn't know how to connect.
Its difficult to help you if you don't even know what's on your device... but my suggestion is try running this and see if that helps. Once installed, it will show up in START, SETTINGS, CONNECTIONS.

i just ported a rom and want to post it ,, it is a port from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656690 ,, ive tried almost everthing and it works ,including wi-fi
this is my first try so dont be to hard on me lol, and there is a patch on the original post with live wallpaper patch , but havent tried but i will , hope this works ,, oh and u need to do apn backup and restore ,,
maps and navs work also ,, im just rechecking everything to be sure , so ill try and upload in a few hours, if someone else is doing this rom i dont wana copy so if someone could let me know

to be honest ,i checked it out and it just says no updates ,, i just make the rom work im not dev or anything so i didnt really remove anything cept sprint tv,nfl,nascar cuz we cant usew them , i dont wana mess it up by removing something im not suppose to ,, im just now rechecking making sure it is ok to post ,

i dont get it ,, i just looked and it says pu blic ,, i wonder what i did wrong

Get rid of DC Updater. It will download the latest Damage Control from the author of the Sprint Hero one.
We clearly don't want a Sprint Hero ROM on our Eris's. There's 3 files to get rid of, I think.
I'd remove them from the ROM. I put DC on my buddy's Hero. Very clean. He loves it.

i wouldnt think so, cuz there are some files that are there that you need, that starts with DC, im pretty sure
i guess i messed it up bad enough no one wants to say anything lol
well maybe ...i dunno ...i am trying to download now that i got home ....but i can say this ... there are all of a sudden alot of roms to try .....this is a good thing .....

I was working on my own port of this and didnt have the power down issue, but had no wifi, i put my boot image into your rom and power down went away but no wifi came back, what was fixed to get you wifi up, that is probably what caused the power down issue. nice port other than that, i incorporated a transparent lock screen and the usual verizon apks, live wallpaper also works. Thanks for your work
Please guyz help me. i am already fed up with this "MMI code started" problem. Since the first day of buying thi phone i had this problem.when i try to use our provider to recharge my balance, it rejects the process..i want to type *101#pin code# but it rejects..rex4u i think u can help.
Try turning off data if activated or turn off an turn on your phone and try again

Are you sure that you should type *101#...# but not *101*...# ? I don't know your provider rules but here we put # only at the end of command

yeah i am using this provider over 1-2 years))...i use other phones to recharge my balance(.but when noone is next to me, there are no charges(

Same here dude.. I get the same error while trying to load.. Our code something is *220# pin # and.after i press call it rejects it but if i try *220# then send it says call card invalid.. My carrier has two ways of loading so i just simply tried the other method.. I thought i am th only one having this problem.. Hoping for a solution soon..

Rex, it was working fine for me when i had my original fw and flashed with the same fw but when i flashed to XXKB3 it is when where the problem start occuring

I am helping this is a known issue.video cam app will NOT WORK with that Netflix patch.
There is another Netflix fix in the Asus forum but I do not recomend it.it changes build.prop file.
So everyone who does the nettles fix does have the same issue

First ... i'm new to this whole thing .. so i wasnt my intension to get an answer on a platter .. i'm just someone with little knowledge & wanted some help .. i read alot about this issue but ididnt know how to do it .. you re the one who wasnt nice and made of me calling my thread trade off and accused me of being lazy.
anyways .. if theres someone with knowledge can walk me through this i'll be greatful .. or at least show me how can i get my iconia unrooted like i bought it .. it was a mistake rooting it.

The "trade off" is you get to watch Netflix, but your front camcorder will FORCE CLOSE.
The only fix is placing back the original libvnomx.so file into system/lib.
& Yes, I recommend you do so & unroot before you brick your tablet! nub

Thank u i agree .. no more messing with my tablet .. do u know how to unroot it .. i tried the same app but it wont unroot just keep saying ( unrooting ) & never reboot.
