I unlocked/rooted my arc, freezed bloatware with titanium backup, and cleared se home launcher´s data from settings, and now the launcher just keeps force closing. Reflashed firmware with fastboot, but it doesn´t help because it doesn´t overwrite settings/apps. Usb connection won´t work either. Menu/back/power hard reset not working. Dunno what to do...except wait for a custom rom with a different launcher

Why doesn't your USB work? You could flash using Flashtool. Do you have another launcher or that was the only one?

Dunno why,but either pc or phone doesn´t know their connected, except fastboot.
And that is only launcher installed in phone, otherwise i think i could just hit home-button and select another launcher. But now trying the flashtool
flashtool didn´t recognize the phone...isn´t there any place where i could download original firmware and after flashing that, use SEUS to do a factory reset?

When my phone (i9505) is on, all I get is :
"Unfortunately, Nfc service has stopped."
Once in a while I get:
"Unfortunately, Samsung Link has stopped."
And sometimes I get:
"Process system isn't responding. Do you want to close it?"
And this causes my phone to be unusuable. It's just stuck and I keep getting these messages, being able to actually use the phone for a few seconds every minute. I had removed those apps with Titanium Backup and now Restored them, and this is occuring.
thanks.
I would do a factory reset. Try to see what happens after. If it works, try to reinstall apps with TB. if after that you have again problems, it means something is corrupted and you have to install all apps manually.
Maybe before that you can try wipe cache and wide dalvik from recovery... see if that helps.

What does the following mean when I want to factory reset:
-The key for decrypting fils on the SD card will be erased (You cannot use files on the SD card after a factory data reset)
??
Ok I'm in desperate need of help. I did a factory reset and as soon as the first screen loaded, I keep getting the NFC error and other errors, just this time in a language I don't even understand. I'm at the language choosing screen and keep getting those cursed errors.

Edit coz u removed those files it's giving u those errors do not remove files u not sure what it does
Download a firmware and flash it using odin
Once flashed just reset the device all done and for firmware use my signature link.
Or Sammobile.com
.
Since there is no stock firmware for my country (Israel), is there anything else I can do? Perhaps any way to deal with the NFC by reinstalling any of the services?

i made factory reset by going to Settings > Backup and Reset > Favtory reset. Once it was done, the keyboard didn't show up when register. i skipped all stuff and wrote my name by saying random names via mic. i installed google keyboard I had. Any idea on how to fix this ? I want to re-do factory reset again.
Hi,
Do you have a custom recovery installed ?
Yea of you don't have a custom recovery installed, best just to try factor reset again, I had the same problem once.
nope, i dont have it. Anyway, i did flash the stock rom again. My friend said that it might be the mod i installed for keyboard from Xuimod from Xposed. Maybe. Anyway it is fixed now ^^

Yes, you are right. Factory reset does not help to fix a system modding.
Only re-flashing the stock firmware may help.
(Help) Restoring the original Touchwiz apk after a massive screwup xD
Hello everyone =)
I've been having this problem for a while with no apparent way to solve it...
I'm running a stock non rooted Lollipop on my Note 3. A while ago I saw a Note 4 launcher and got excited to install it. So I installed the apk file overwriting the existing Touchwiz. I figured that if it doesn't work I'll just go to the "uninstall updates" option to go back (been doing that all the time on my old Xperia S). I started getting the "Touchwiz has stopped working" message over and over again so I went to the "uninstall updates" option and found it greyed out. I deleted Cache and data, tried to reinstall the older apk, even tried to install other apks but I just keep getting "App not installed". I tried reflashing Lollipop using Odin but it still doesn't work!! xD
I have the original apk file for the launcher. Is there a way to fix this that doesn't require root?? I'm desperate here xD
Thanks in advance!!!!!!! =D

? reset your ?
You must have not flashed the right rom in odin.
Go to sammymobile and select the rom for your exact device and region (country and provider if needed)... flash it. It will restore everything back to stock (including the TW launcher, etc).

hmmm weird... I originally installed the Russian firmware with the original Touchwiz (before I ruined it xD). I flashed that exact firmware after I messed up Touchwiz.
I'll try a different region and see if it works.
Thanks in advance! =D I'll keep you updated =)
hello, i have a new problem found few days ago and been trying to fix it but to no avail.
here is how it started.
i tried to install an app called fsecure vpn network from google play. then the phone when into a bootloop. then i did a clean wipe (reset, wipe cache and dalvik from recovery) but somehow my files were not gone. that is some kinda miracle i have no idea how it happened.
since then my phone have issue whenever i installed mihome:
-. google play services, trebuchet, package installer, and some other has stopped.
-. cannot open apps list in settings when mihome is present. the settings just stopped and crashed.
-. if i try to open the mihome, the phone goes reboot.
-. even uninstalling mihome from application list is not working, the package installer stopped. have to uninstall from google play.
-. i tried to make a bluetooth printer app, but when i put the app-debug.apk into my phone. file manager would crash whenever it tried to read the file. even by just scrolling down. example: file manager work fine if the file is not copied inside (meaning we can scroll around and not crash). but once the file is copied in then the file manager will work if we dont scroll down to find the file, but when we scrolled down to find the file then the app crash.
things i've tried:
-. clean wipe then reflashing rom and gapps.
-. manually update google play store, download google package installer and reinstall it.
-. tried to download google play services apk but was unable to install it.
-. tried the idea of clearing cache of google play service but still no luck (force stop was disabled anyway so i cant try that)
i have no idea how this all happen just because i tried to install that fsecure app. its not even fully installed yet. it was just starting to install after download then this hell happened.
im desperate for some help as i've tried for 3 days in fixing it but to no luck. any helps would be very appreciated.
thanks and regards,
hendry

Hello,
Did you try to reinstall Stock ROM ?
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-grand2/SM-G7102/
It happened to me that sometimes, apps or rom just run into a bug and maybe it corrupt the firmware but after a Stock ROM flash (via Odin) + custom recovery (via Odin) to wipe Cache + Data, everything was fix.
Hai, could u possible post me a tutorial on how to do those thing via odin? Coz i usually only do it via cwm. Thanks

Did you try to flash a recovery only ?
Maybe your firmware/system is not corrupted and then you could just reflash a clean rom ?
In Odin, Select AP and load your recovery.tar
I am having the very same issue. The difference is that it's happening with Spotify, Xposed and Relay for Reddit. So yeah it's been much worse for me. I will try to flash stock rom + reinstall another recovery and see if it fixes. By the way, I got a couple of questions:
1 - Does the country that I select when downloading the stock ROM matters?
2 - Which Recovery can you guys recommend? There's a bunch here but not sure if all them are worthy
Okay so I flashed an Indian stock ROM (I'm not indian nor live in the country), then I wiped all data, so I could boot. This is the default procedure to revert back to a Stock ROM.
After that, I noticed the Wifi wasn't working, probably due to the Stock rom I've downloaded. Anyway, I installed a custom Recovery (even an updated version of what I used before, then I reinstalled Ressurection Remix, and tried again.
....It didn't work. Relay for Reddit crashes everything, Spotify puts my phone into a bootloot. Same with Xposed. I have no idea what to do anymore. Someone, please help. I really can't afford to buy another phone right now and I really need those apps. Expecially Spotify.

Okay, so I guess there won't be any need for that. I've redownloaded the stock ROM, but this time, I checked my phone Serial Number so I could download the right stock ROM for my phone. Now everything seems to be working again. Spotify and Relay installed without any issue. I will now try to reflash recovery and then another ROM and see if the problem persists.
For those who don't know how to check your Serial number, it's right above your android version, at the "About phone" section on Settings.
I still need advice on which Recovery I should use.
Anyway, thank you guys. I probably would't be able to solve this without your help.
UPDATE: I've installed TWRP 3.1.0.0, and also rooted the phone using it. Still on stock ROM. Everything seems to be still working without problems. I think I'll stick with it for now. Maybe later I'll try to lash a Custom ROM and see if it still works.

Hi,
I'm glad you fixed you're problem. Sticking on Stock ROM is the best thing you can do if you need your phone as every functionnality is checked and working.
I personnaly use TWRP as recovery, its good you got usb, root and everything you need to backup/restore your phone + reset your phone.
I did a full unroot of SuperSu to root with Magisk. After I root with Magisk, I get a few 'App has stopped working', I get
Unfortunately Logs Provider has stopped working
Unfortunately Media Storage has stopped working
Unfortunately Contacts Storage has stopped working
Unfortunately TouchWiz Home has stopped working*
Unfortunately User Dictionary has stopped working
Unfortunately Weather has stopped working
*I use Nova Launcher
I usually get them upon boot but sometimes I get them during regular usage
I've Tried
Reflashing correct firmware through Odin
Wiping Cache and Dalvik
Factory Resetting
Unrooting Magisk and Rerooting
How do I fix it, I am Running OS 5.0.2
Edit: Download Manager doesn't work as well when downloading APKs
Reflash it
