I am very impressed by the Gingerbread update - no problems thus far and it is blisteringly fast. Even the stock browser is epically quick
Much kudos to Samsung! I feel like I have a brand new device.
My only issue - the Swype spacebar in portrait is too small.

u mean the music hub or what cuz i can't see any different between the music app on 2.2 or in 2.3.3

No, mine is an unbranded tab that I updated via Chainfires ROM manually.
As far as I'm aware, this hasn't rolled out part Italy via kies.

The rom is fast. Flash videos in 720p are smooth. but I find one problem the light on the the keys doesn't turn off, only if the screen is also off. Is anyone having the problem as me?

its not a bug - its a feature ...
So you can see the LEDs even when you not tab on the screen.
I like it.

I think and hope so. i replaced my vending.apk before and still got the update with that added "similar" button, so it should work...

Did you ever use density changer on your recently flashed rom? Because when I did, some apps stayed "changed" even after resetting density and uninstalling density changer, e.g. Doodle jump. Not even reinstalling doodle jump helped. Perhaps this happened with your market? Just a suggestion.

Probably a glitch due to screen size for the stock SE rom as it adjusts to the location of where it would be for a less wide-screen
Buttons are only 1/2. When I clear the cache, no buttons at all.
Reverted back to old market.
Just a thought but the x10 isnt wvga. Iirc. There actually 854x480 as apposed to 800x480. Or fwvga. This may be an.issue

possibly because the aosp is a generic rom meant for a good few devices therefore adapting its size. then these are just suggestion and not guidance, i really have no idea just providing shots in the dark
FWVGA is a support resolution for Android (see the Motorola Droid 1/2/Pro/X devices). The resolution is probably not the issue. Gotta be something with the stock ROM.

6 days after official gingerbread through samsung centre, i had this suddenly blank (i mean it really no respond) to soft&hard reset not even in recovery mode
now still in samsung centre, warranty to change the korean battery confirmed but is there any possibility to change other than battery?

Any of you guys getting screen glitches? They look like streaks of black that appear for 1 to 2 secs while scrolling. Rarely happens but it does once in a while.

It happens once or twice a day, only for a few seconds. It's hard to reproduce so what will I tell the service center? On Froyo firmware, it never happens though. I tried and switched back to Froyo and it doesn't happen.

updated to gingerbread as well i live in the philippines, and it seems that it has a glitch try playing music and or multi tasking.. it will hang and go blank you cant turn the damn thing off when this happens.. but a few hits on the power button together with the home key will do the job. i wish i can go back to froyo.. pls let me know if you guys experience the same thing

I have exactly the same problem, with my international GT-i9100
the back button constantly goes back to home and i'm unable to get out of applications such as image viewer äfter i've taken a picture" settings... pretty much everything and i tried a full wipe + dalvik wipe and still the same problem, it's a bit to unstable for my liking but if that issue could be fixed i'd use this daily.
Audio issue still present. Volume for headphones stuck at 50%. Any solutions?

Had the same problem...
Quick fix for me was to flash to a different kernel...
i flashed it with the Siyah v2.2beta4 kernel, now works beautifully!
Just a little advice too, if you previously had 2.3.5 and older, do not restore from titanium. it will give you a ton of FC errors and your phone will not function properly, if not, at all.

Keep an eye out on the Blackout thread as they are working on a patch/update to fix a lot of bugs
Apparently headset buttons aren't working due to the kernel let's hope they update the kernel

There is a post somewhere which mentions you can get rid of the lag by removing the oc daemon, i did this and its all speedy fast now.

Well just to let you know if you r runin blackout ICS the way to avoid lag is choosing ultrasmooth and in daemon controller change cpu freq to smartassV you will notice the diference right away

Fast DHD
The DHD with Blackout 3 rom is extremly fast compared to before with the official HTC, which was always lagging or crashing... It is a very impressive job from the Blackout team! :good: Thank you!
PS: the demon controller was set up conservative as CPU Freq. I just change it to smartassv2 as buhor suggested. Did not see much difference since it was fast before already.
Cant see why htc didnt do their own ics after all, its so much faster than stock/gingerbread roms.
The only thing i dont like about 4+ is that third party apps like gocontacts/sms cant sync pictures from facebook.
anyone have this problem? when i made/received a call, i have to reboot the phone otherwise when the next call i made/received, the other party will not be able to hear my voice, although i can hear them clearly. According to them, they only heard some distortion noise in the background.
I pmed them but have not yet received a reply so i just post here to ask.

Why would you need a specific 3 UK ROM? The BTU in this thread will suffice perfectly.
As for release dates - how would anyone here know???
is it just me or are other people having really delayed notifications with gmail and facebook, im sending e mails to myself and my tablet is getting them fine, however my phone is not giving me any notifications. Yes my sync is on and yes my notification for gmail etc are on.
Mine seems to be laggy I got the new style gallery not sure its 100% like the note 2 tho.
Does it fix /dev/exnynos-mem bug?
Not sure why people don't using the XXEL5 system and mix it with XXEL4. Would be the best of both worlds then with more system fixes, it's easy to flash that way in Odin.

man im displeased with the btu 4.1.2, its very laggy and gallery is laggy and slow and widget draw is also more laggy. im goin back to the polen xeo. that was very smooth.
i still didnt like the btu havent locked the apps in multiwindow so u can accidently move them around if ur fingers move to fast when u drag them out. u can edit them in edit, so please lock them when they are out. maybe it didnt bother ppl on note cuz the screen is huge. i like the alphabetical order.

If it does not list this firmware and will not, then it is not official update thread, is it. Who made it official except by virtue that it usually lists the particular firmware version first.
Then first one that lists this firmware with a download link becomes official for this firmware. I don't know if it's this or not, but it definitely its not the one you linked to.
