Is this one still "based of a combination of bamf and the remix (credit adrynalyne & thatdudebutch)" like 1.3 was?

Can I flash on top of 1.4 with only cache and dalvik cleared?

how is it different?

Flashed over 1.4 and this is blaaaazing fast!
Averaging 62.14 over 10 trials of Linpack and for the very very few who actually judge off Quadrant getting 2800s-2900s.
Note I flashed mosey's 1.92X kernel. Still better results than I was getting with Bamf (minus the 3940 I got on Quad )!

Can some one tell me how I can get the kernel from v1.4 and install it here?

A dumb question here but I know it says to flash the new radio but is that absolutely necessary? Will it work with the old radio?

No its not. You can use the old radio. Even DasBamf developer has said that old radio is more stable. I have been using the old radio with every rom.

It'll work, but some experience boot loops. I'd try it without the new radio and see how that goes first.

I was running 1.4 with the stock radio and included kernel fine. Just updated to 1.45 and it seems to be aok too!
Lost the volume to wake feature but found it posted by adrenaline and flashed... back to sweetness.

I like this rom so far. Thanks man!

This ROM is by far the best ROM I've ever used in terms of battery life for this phone. I had great battery life on 1.92x but I loaded up battsaver and it was ridiculous. Thanks liquid!

CF-Root B84 has a problem. It makes bootanimation invisible. So, he used B83. You can flash CF-Root b84 manually if you wish. You'll need to flash B84-fixed.zip to fix invisible bootanimation error
Keep up.

Interesting results and thanks.
If possible please add test with the performance kernel on SR5 for those capable of running it, and possibly stock numbers for comparison.
I'm impressed with 4.2 given how early it is and the device it is running on.
Of course benchmarks are simply for ****s and giggles and in no way reflect realtime usage and/or ROM stability, but bit is nice to look at

I actually do OC, but for the testing, I keep the ROM and the preferences as is! I'm just looking for the best one! And when I found one, I start tweaking and overclocking to my needs ^^

Would you please link to the kernel in question?
And, yeah, I'll add the stock ROM you can find on the development section for comparison ^^

I can't use newer versions, 'cause if I do so, without retesting all the builds, the results will be meaningless :/
yes
3196 points with stock rom :victory:
Nice results, mine were 'cause they were token 30mn after first clean install. I assume you conducted your test after days of use, the ROM gets better ^^
