Introduction:

Andromeda3 is the result of countless hours of development. Andromeda3 is the single Clockwork Mod flash-able ROM you should keep at all times in your phone's downloads folder. It just works.
This ROM contains the fastest kernel, the best combination of software, and it delivers outstanding battery life. Because of this, we feel it sets the standard which all ROMs should strive to attain.

Originally, our Nighties were hosted on Google code. We ran out of space on the SVN and re-hosted on our Team Komin server. The SVN revision were reset to 0 as a result of clearing out all data. The kernel is the pillar which the android layer stands upon. mxracer101 has developed the i9010 kernel for our phones which provides indisputable performance gains over stock, all previous build and provides compatibility with nearly everything... awesome, so i'm assuming that there will be no need to wipe for users coming from 1.2?
another thing that crosses my mind.. audience chip, it's been incorporated since the day 1 afaik..
is it only compatible with the 9010 modem (jl2) and the captivate modem (kb1)? Only?

You must be on MIUI Rom And open superuser in Tools > Settings > Allow applications to request ROOT permission (ON)
Keep your data connection (wifi preferably) ON.
Reboot in Recovery
Goto MOUNTS & STORAGE
MOUNT - System, Datadata, SDCARD and DATA <== MOUNT THEM.. do NOT Format them.
Go Back
Choose & Flash file downloaded.
Advanced => Fix Permissions
Reboot
LET IT SETTLE FOR 5-7 MINUTES AFTER BOOT
Do not add any account, press Home Key, Grant root permissions if asked. Keep your data connection ON.
Reboot.
Let it settle for next 5 minutes.
Add your accounts.
Enjoy.
Post-install recommendations:
No Launcher Settings required to be changed v3.0 onwards.
If any app gets updated internally or via market it placed itself on last homescreen, do place it back in respective folder.
Recommended to use max freq 1000Ghz.
Grab and flash Extended settings from below. Looks cool!
Give reboot whenever feel lag. Also do remove widgets which you don't use.

Do I need to or will it Wipe Data ?
NO, it can be installed easily on your stock/custom MIUI Rom.
I have to place some icons myself like Radio icon, blah blah blah..
As this MOD is developed on Vibrant. You may need to move your ass and do place 1-2 icons yourself wherever you like. Else send me one I9000.
What kernel are you using in this??
NO kernel included in this mod. It is always recommended to flash desired kernel before this MOD to ensure tweaks remain intact. Recommended to set max freq to 1000MHz for better battery life.
My icons seems misplaced?
This happens when internal update takes place. Place it back in respective folder.
My widget disappeared, what do I do next?
Nothing. Keep data connection on. And give a reboot.
It will appear. If not remove and re-add by long press.
The Live Wallpaper provided goes into half loaded state on each homescreen, what do I do?
Nothing, it will fix itself. However, if you want quick fix.. use Auto Killer and Kill all apps.
Is this available for or Can I use this for <some other> phone?
You can always try Universal Version.

Definitely, you didnt followed STEP 4 of mounting data, datadata, system, sdcard.

The problem you facing is most probably from source MIUI ROM. This MOD only intends to add more functionality.

I flashed the vibrant version to my captivate earlier today and as far as I can tell it's working fine. No problems here.

I installed it right away, NO PROBLEMS here all good.
Want to add commend on intructions up to step 9 it all was just like the instructions, after that I did n't need to allow permissions or to add accounts, it was all good.
It looks really nice, now I will start testing see how much differences will I see as far as performance is concern.

no problems runs very good on ATT captivate, GPS works very good now, angry gps is included, many other enhancements... very customizable, modem speeds are great! flashed ck1 modem which is even better up here in CANADA

Could u make this into a rom? it says i need to be on miui and im on cm7 and there are like 3 versions of miui so i dont know which one to choose.
also what is the difference between each version does it matter?

The objective of the mod is to be independent from ROM version releases,
so I don't build ROMs. You can download and flash latest stock ROM from either
www.miui.us or www.miuiandroid.com
and then after a reboot, flash this MOD carefully as instructed.

Just installed, like 5 min ago... the one thing I have come across is juice defender will not run, says it requires an update. Since it was not installed from the market, it will not update from there. Other than that, looks good. Ill give it a spin today, see how she drives.

Maybe this might help clearly.Just Terramino(rom complier)claims that 2.3 is like a poison ivy covers your device very tight;so repeat the loading 2.2 action 3 times for better clean.
Downgrade from 2.3.5 back to 2.2.2
1) Download U8800 V100R001C00B138SP04 (Overseas General) Android 2.2.2
2) Extract the "dload" folder and copy it (along with its contents) to the ROOT of the SD Card.
3) Turn on your U8800 while holding [VOL-] and [VOL+] and the Android 2.2.2 install should start.
4) Once finished you should be back to 2.2.2.
5) If you phone does not boot correctly power on phone while holding [VOL+] to boot into recovery and Reset to factory defaults.
6) Delete the "dload" folder from the SD Card.

important!
Even if you don't wipe data/factory reset,the rom will automatically delete all user data by itself,so backup all your applications,sms,call logs...etc. if necessary
INSTALLING:
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Cache partition
- Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file
After installed, go to Spare Parts and run it. Then choose Window animations and Transition animations options to Fast. In this way, the desktop will have increased fluency.

it's name is MIUI based Performans Rom X English - .35 Kernel and installing on stock ROM 2.3.5
important specs:
Extreme touch sensitivity is reduced due to factory 2.3.5 software.
.35 Kernel which is the biggest problem was corrected incoming and outgoing speech sounds.
Only when listening to music, the highest volume level is below normal. This problem will be corrected in future versions.
but elite ROM 9.6 newest because TerraMino waiting franco's .35 kernel and he will going to develope Performans Rom X new kernel realesed

Quick thoughts and facts about the .35 kernel version (see post #11)
- Custom theme as stock, blends a little blue and ICS-esque stuff into the default theme, and I love it, looks really fresh
- ICS icons too, not a big fan of them, luckily there's always the Vexillum Project icons to use. The font is awesome.
- It's based on MIUI 2.1.13 and it uses ret4rt's 2.6.35.7 kernel dated January 13th
- English is default language, Traditional and Simplified Chinese are the other choices
- Speaker still has the buggy and crackling sound while playing music
- Can't say if it's faster than ret4rt's MIUI, needs a few days of testing at least

I've had MIUI on my last two devices over the last 3 years (HTC Desire and SGS2) and absolutely loved it....
But, I'm not sure about getting it on the note 2. I don't think I could live without the pen functionality and touchwiz has some nice little touches that I do like (smartstay, for example, is much more useful than I thought). Also not sure I could live without the camera software (although MIUI may keep this in).
For my previous two devices, MIUI was a huge upgrade in terms of UI and functionality, but with the note 2, I think it mightn't give me that much when compared to stock.

Me too, that's why I use the official MIUI Beta (leak) on my N7000, because MIUI decided to use Samsung base and not CyanogenMod anymore. TouchWiz Framework is included and S-Pen features completely working. Even something like "show little pointer 1cm above screen when using s-pen" is possible on the N7000 MIUI, which even the original N7000 doesn't have.
MIUI does the same for the N7100 release: Samsung base, TouchWiz integrated, SPen fully supported.

MIUI included the Samsung camera app in N7000 Beta, I guess the same happens on the N7100 release. You can still flash the Android 4.2 Camera besides that.

For all my devices it was a huge upgrade in terms of UI and non-geeky-crippeled-too-black-interface. And just out of the box integration of useful features like Call Recording, Blocking, Firewall, DnD Mode, Guest Mode, Bright design (for sunny days it's better than the AOSP black, and less ugly too), Themes, no tinkering with buggy stuff, only stable stuff integrated.
First thing I was hating when I used my N7100 was the ugly TouchWiz, the useless Apps installed, the old fashioned UI concept (create a folder with -> edit screen -> menu -> add folder)... The unofficial N7100 MIUI build from yure was a huge improvement for my N7100 after 1 Week... I would never go back to Samsung stock ROM.

So any news about the beta they are testing @ official MIUI? I mean did it have a lot of bugs/hickups?
I know it's forbidden to ask for ETA's but is there any chance the beta will leak out to the public like with the N7000?
My hands are itching to flash this goodness.

if you want to use a different kernel (which i dont recommend) use a sammy based one.
and I dont think the mod will work. you can still make a backup and try it and report back. probably a lot of users would be thankful for that

/!\ IF YOU NEVER HAD STOCK LOLLIPOP ON YOUR TABLET BEFORE, OR YOU SIMPLY COME FROM KITKAT, YOU WILL NEED TO FOLLOW THESE FIRST STEPS BEFORE FLASHING MY ROM

1-Download Odin : DOWNLOAD HERE
2-Download from here bootloader : DOWNLOAD HERE
3-Now extract Odin from Zip file and run Odin3 v3.10.6.exe. Extract sboot.tar.md5 from TWLP_Bootloader.zip.
4-From Odin, click on BL and pick sboot.tar.md5
5-Let it load, and then press Start
6-Let it install the bootloader. It will restart your tablet. That's it ! Now you can follow the next steps to install TWDetox Rom.

INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL THIS ROM​
1 - Make sure that you have the latest version of TWRP flashed via Odin from the link above.
2- Place the ROM Zip file 'TWDetox_v3.0.zip' in either your phone internal storage or external sd card
3-Reboot into Recovery (TWRP)
4-Make sure that System is Mounted in Mount, Tick System Checkbox
5-Now go to Wipe, Advanced Wipe, and tick the following checkboxes : Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Data then swipe to Wipe
6-When this is done, go to Install, search for 'TWDetox_v3.0.zip' and Swipe to Confirm Flash.
7-Let the flashing process be.
8-When this is done, flash SuperSU zip you've downloaded after my ROM.
9-When this is done, choose Reboot System; you're done
/!\ DON'T PANIC IF THE ROM TAKES A WHILE TO BOOT THE VERY FIRST TIME, IT TAKES USUALLY AROUND 5-10MIN TO SET UP. NO IT IS NOT BOOTLOOPING

-Will you make this for the T705, T800, T805, T-whatever ?
I only own the T700, which allows me to test the builds myself and to ensure the best experience for that model.
However, the T800 will probably get some love soon and I will post a test build in the near future, since it is easy to develop for wifi only models.
As for the T805, I think that variant runs with a Snapdragon chip, so it would be very unlikely to see my rom for you guys. But then again, I might be very kind one day and try to make a test build, stay tuned

-Will 'superdupergreatdabeast' custom Kernel v.1318342 with overclocking at 2884092GHz (help I've fried my tablet) work on this ROM? Will Synapse work ? SELinux Permissive ?
Yes, and feel free to use any Kernels that are compatible with Lollipop touchwiz I might include my own soon.

My ROM is based on Official firmware, and although the stock kernel used has init.d enabled, it is still a very stock kernel, in no way modified. So your problem with said app is related to the developer behind this app not working properly on Stock Touchwiz 5.0.2; Blame Samsung, not me :angel:

Depending on the app, you could either pull the apk or perhaps someone might have it. Presuming the OP doesn't have an option on install (like aroma).

I must say, may be my opinion is in minority, any twz rom has no sense with this crazy tiny interface. It is way to small for me... I us now any aosp/ cm rom with 384 or 400 dpi and it fits perfectly for me.

I've decided to release an early Release Candidate build because there is one tiny issue with the fingerprint lock method, it says that "an error has occured with the fingerprint sensor' when you choose the option in Lock Screen.
It might be a small issue with the fingerprint apk after it has been deodexed because it works with odex files. Still trying to sort this issue out. But other than that, the whole ROM is working perfectly as expected, so I didn't want to keep you guys waiting
I'll upload a small update file once I fix the problem so that you guys can flash it on top of the Release Candidate ! Anyways heading to uni, should be uploaded when I get back

By 'non tiny', do you mean a bigger interface ? Yeah, I suppose I could work on that. Once I get a stable release, I was thinking about theme-ing the SystemUI and framework res anyways.

Yeah, I mean the font size across applications such as gmail, Facebook, but most importantly...Chrome!
Adjusting the system font size unfortunately doesn't help....the system menus just become too huge.
Anyway, it's not a huge deal.

THE ROM IS UPLOADED ! HAPPY FLASHING I'm using this as a daily driver for the last 15hours, and haven't found any issues apart from the fingerprint one. So you should have no problem, but if you do, don't hesitate to share it with me, I'll be happy to help

cheers mate, installing now.

With dpi 380 or 400 (stock is 320) everything is set perfectly. Then just small font adjustments for system and/ or specific apps which have this option...

Strange... did all the recommendation before flashing ROM (tick system in mount, latest TWRP...) and stuck at Samsung Galaxy Tab S Logo (first phase). I've waited 15 mins and still bootlooping... what I did wrong?

Hmm, have you checked the md5 to make sure you got a good download of the ROM? Something like that happened with my Note 4..
