With my otterbox case ill always get 3dowb and 1.5up without the case and nothing on it i will max out around 900kb
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
Sometimes I see that with the iP4 and when i hold it by the sides (with a case on) vs. barely holding it. Could have something to do with reducing sensitivity to neighboring cells that cause carrier interference with the cell you are pulling from.
Wow i wish i had a case just to try this with, it'd be cool if we got more confirmation from people
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
I notice my connection too ATT is very sporatic. I have the Otter commuter case and I dont see a difference on or off. You would have to run 20 or more tests with the case on and off too get enough data to compare correctly. Then take an average. I dont have the time for that.
Try licking index finger and holding in air to catch wind while placing phone between buttocks! If reception doesn't improve, at least it tickles!

This could be a big break for sprint. Think about nationwide 4g coverage even in remote areas because of satellite technology.
It is good know that sprint is actually thinking about the future.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I've heard of them before this, apparently they have a huge problem with the frequency they are using. Since it is so close to the frequency gps satellites use their test towers effectively jammed all gps within a few mile radius of them. Definitely not going to fly with gps being maintained by the military.

Looks like fox picked up on this too; although it should say 4G is at least 1Gbs, not up to 1Gbs.

Yes, they still got some work to do. But once its all figured out, it'd be nice to see them arm and arm with Sprint.
See subject. If anyone needs a 20% battery boost, there you go. Fits a little snug, but it works.

thanks but how did you check out the battery? the sprint store literally had the phone tied to that bungee cord with the no access to the rear and hardly any room to check out the amazing screen
At my store its on a bungie cord.

So this works perfectly? O_O
And when a "little snug" what do you mean? Just a tight fit?
If that's all it is, then I think I may buy one when they're on Ebay...

My wife got the epic touch....It fits "pretty well" but it just seemed like the back case....wouldn't close "right". Just a tiny bit not snapped in on 1 corner or something pretty much. Going to have to play around with it more...thought about scraping out some plastic and seeing how it fits. worth a shot though if you need some extra battery action.

The back fit fine on mine... Now I just gotta wait for a defective et to come back so I can get a battery to tide me over till I get to actually buy the phone.
On the other hand, the epic battery probably fits the other way around so all of us will have a reduced capacity spare. Didn't try that yet myself, so I don't know if it will move enough to keep a solid connection.

Wouldn't the wimax network have allot less users when everyone starts moving to LTE? Shouldn't that make wimax faster until they kill it off?

Wimax is not going away.
Neither Sprint nor Verizon has Spectrum capacity to meet demand. Clear Does.

What use will I have for the phone when I get its replacement? Anything the Epic4g can do, my new phone can do better and faster. Might give the epic4g to a family member or hopefully microsoft brings back its stupid smoked by windows phone challange this summer and I can get a new one of those for free in trade and then sell it. Most likely though it would sit in a drawer for a year in case I need a backup phone and then into the garbage.

ouch man, that super strange.
You would think a dent that severe would have some mark on the case.
The metal is pretty strong. Definitely had to be some pretty significant force to cause that.

Your lucky it didnt hit your camera lens like a dozen other people on here.... lol @ all this talk of damage and nobody did it themselves... heat caused all of them... heat caused the aluminum to warp.

Wow I really can't believe this. Even the video where the guy shot the HTC One with a rifle split it in half but didn't even dent.
Seriously I know metals expand in heat but up to that point? Never and I am good with physics and chemistry I know that an aluminum 1 meter width at max could only expand by 2mm if heated @100 degrees celsius but this?
