Android format the call number by the country's language selected.
But i want english language with my country number format. Is it possible?

i have all my contacts stored in the international format (+44). In order for Smart dialer to work correctly i need to dial +44 before it lists my contacts i used to be able to enter the number straight with the internation code for smart dialer to start working before i upgraded to Mr Clean Rom.
Any ideas?

You can change format of phone numbers etc under start-->settings-->system-->regional settings. Take a look there.
I did however there is no option to change the format of the phone number
Hi, after flashing my htc cruise (successful flashing) I do face a small inconvinient when i dial a new number .The number is under US format
(xxx) xxx-xxxx. how can I get my international format back.
From my address book the dialing procedures is OK.
My region is well set.
Any Help??

u must go in settings > system > regional settings.there u must chose u`re country and it will change automatically
what rom? what dialer? region is the only way i know how to change it OR through the dialer if there is an option there

I'll second that, it works for me every time...
I installed the korean language to my hd2 which is not supported by the default, I've been trying to send text messages to other people with android cell phones. Whenever I try to send it, with unicode enabled, it fails to send the message and asks to remove symbols, in this case korean, from the text. I'm confused because is it because I'm sending it to other carrier? or because it's different OS? or becuase sending messages in other language is impossible. Or could the keyboard installed be a problem? I'm very confused...
In the streak dialer and phone history all numbers are in XXX-XXX-XXXXX format.
I want to change this format because in my country numbers are formatted like:
(0)XXX-XXX-XXXX
So, how can I remove the dashes or change the format ?
I think I need a new locale ?
is there any Turkish locale ?
