help with Desire HD official gingerbread kernel version - Desire HD General

Can someone who has received the official gingerbread rom from HTC itself and no the leak from the web give me the revision of the kernel in use. Go to about on your phone under settings to find it and post it. I need the whole string. Should look similar to 2.6.35.9-g3052235

[Q] Android 2.2.1?

Apparently, the Nexus 1 got an update to 2.2.1. Anyone have any info on this (updates, improvements etc.)?
I know it's pretty much a waste to ask when (if it's legit) it will hit our phones, but, seeing as how it's a new version number, I thought it was something to wonder about.
Here's the N1 info:
Android version: 2.2.1
Baseband version: 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-27240-gbca5320

Build number: frg83
Here's the link to the appropriate XDA thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=790560
Did you read the thread? Looks be a gapps update.

Yeah, I did read the thread. Seeing as how it's only 5 pages long, and only 1 person has claimed it to be a gapps update, I was hoping that someone had taken some time to dig into it.
If it is only a Gapps update, then my bad for starting a thread over some BS. Just hoping it turns out to be something interesting.
But the file is pretty small. Who knows... here is to hoping.

Yea, the new gapps are version 2.2.1

Thank you guys.
Anyone knows when will it be officially available?

2.3.5 on Galaxy S

To Samsung (we know you read this forum )
Can we get a leak of Android 2.3.5 for Galaxy S??
What's new in 2.3.5?
Found it myself: http://androideffect.info/cyanogen-multiple-smartphones-pass-android-235/
Very minor stuff, wouldn't count on it to be honest.
thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If the changes are that minor, I believe Samsung will prepare update. It's not like they have to rewrite and recompile whole system.
cm7 latest nighty is 2.3.5
But 2.3.5 it is not and Android release, just a mod.
Besides, CM7 is still not stable and some features are missing.
2.3.5 is only official for google phones - I.e. nexus S

I am reluctant to install this, until the kernels and roots are sorted out and bug fixed.

Build Number: GINGERBREAD.DOKK3

All custom roms are compatible with your phone. Just a thing, it is preferred to unlock your region-locked phone before installing. Search in XDA on how to unlock.
