looks pretty sexy to me. but also looks very iphone-esque/fake.
and also has too large of a screen imo.

if thing pans out, judging by the amazing stats that I already see, it will probably have a killer resolution.
Probably as good as the retina or better.

This is a phone I will deff not be getting...unless of course they go all the way and it has a breand new OS that is the best of both Android OS and iOS
I wash I could find a rom or app like that but i cant so I dream of the impossible.

I think Miui rom is like that, but not on Galaxy S yet.

Yea it is very much like that. It sadly though just cant be put on a vibrant...I mean it hasn't been revamped for Vibrant as of yet and a Nexus One is to much for me to buy.

The target market does not want iOS. The iPhone 4 is a nice looking piece of hardware. There is a big difference.

Can u guys share some samples ? pictures and hd videos, one of the things im most concerned about atrix aside the glossy plastic body is the camera, my god my milestone's camera is horrible! im so mad that the droid bionic got an 8 mp camera

The camera is ok but not great. Compared to the 8mp one on the inspire it can't touch the inspire. I wouldn't depend on it solely but Like I said its just ok.

I absoluterly DO NOT agree with you. I had 3 inspires (for various reasons) and I thought the camera (like every HTC device I have ever owned) was thoroughly dissappointing, especially the flash. Once you figure out the Atrix camera, its very good. I find you need to push it one stop as it tends to underexpose, but some of the images I have taken have been great.

I also believe the quality is better under 5MP than it is on Widescreen

Yea, seriously...and that was VGA. For real, who cares? In reality I doubt people use their phone camera THAT much, or at least as much as they thought they would. For me it's nice to have one JIC. But overall, I HARDLY use it.

sadly it was a lot clearly on iphone 3gs...

I tried douzens of camera app 360 HDR FX etc
but they have either too much option or not fit for atrix screen res
it's a shame,...
camera is the only downside on atrix imo

leegoon84, try wiping the camera lens glass clean, I suspect you have a finger print or something on it to cause the haze. Also, determine where bright lights are coming from and use your other hand or something to block that light from hitting the camera - put a shadow over the lens.

You have to clean your lens before you take pictures silly willies!

I also wanted to restate that our lens tends to pick up fingerprints like crazy. The haze is mostly due to that issue... it's annoying but just remember to wipe the lens before photos...

Sweet pics I have a ton I will upload some when I get on my computer. Thanks guys for posting I always am surprised at how well the evo camera takes such fine pics when tuned right .

Here's some pics from Red Rock Canyon. Not the best quality, but decent. I'm sure it would be better if I had been on a Sense rom, or using Vignette or something. Thats just AOSP camera and no tweaking of the settings.

Wow man nice shots cactus looks good some sort of barrel cacti. The cam did a pretty good job.

And a couple more. Red rock, and then working on the roof of some building near the Rio.

Thanks man. And yes, I have no clue what kind of cactus that is, haha. I should research it. There is a ton of cacti and funny looking plants (and dangerous looking plants, haha) out there at Red Rock. All I know is don't touch any of them when I'm out there.

How have you used yor nexus 4 for taking pictures and videos on a concert? How did the videos turn out? could you post some samples? i found this on youtube and was pretty dissapointed , the sound is complete sh*t just like my galaxy nexus :crying: , have you had better luck?
Also were the glasses ok? i remember on the manual it says don't use your nexus 4 on a loud envirement, i only imagine the glass cracking because of the speakers blasting

it isnt as good an iphone 5 camera but better than g nex. I find taking the picture with HDR helps it out at concerts especially if the lights are flashing and moving around a lot. it will ensure that proper highs are captured since it takes multiple shots and blends them.

I've taken videos with my galaxy s2 international and the sound was absolutely horrible. I don't think mics on cell phones are designed to handle such loud and varying sound. Haven't had an opportunity with my nexus tho but I bet sound sucks.

I did, sound was very bad! So yes, that is the way it is!

I did take my Nexus 4 to a gig and took some pics (not videos). The results were predictably terrible.

It says so in the description on the video when you search for it in YouTube , but not on the video itself when you open it , weird

Possibly the Best Camera App for Android is now testing on Nexus 5

Personally I like it, but that's just me

That app is free on iOS. Bummer, but understandable as to why they made it a paid app.

Still waiting on Focal myself

Haven't gotten an answer on this in the other places I've asked. There are two different UIs shown in the pics for the app, one looks like iOS and the other looks like it may be a tablet UI. Can anyone confirm if the latter is a tablet UI. If it becomes the phone UI too it looks pretty nice.

I tried the "A Better Camera" app and I really liked it, only problem was the display was super dark which renders it unuseable - I think its not yet been made compatible with the Nexus 5 - anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah, I emailed them about it and that asked that I send them some pictures which I did. Hopefully they fix it.

is the Camera Awesome app really the best out there? The features look good but the reviews are terrible and not very many downloads...
anyone have real experience with it before I commit $3?

The interface on this app looks so cluttered. I wish someone would just blatantly copy the iOS 7 camera app instead of trying to make an app that has literally every feature but 30 on screen buttons. Just simplicity with necessary functionality. It shouldn't really be that hard.

70% negative feedback and you call it best camera app? Hahaha

I can't wait for someone to fix the camera app on N5. The lag is crazy.
