Nope. Updates go from 4.1.26 to 4.1.57 to 4.1.83. You need 4.1.57 to update to 83.

Does anyone know where the 4.1.5.7 SBF file is?

Why did you flash to 4.1.52 in the first place? Search dev forum. There is a guide. Everything you need is there.

[Q] Nube Rooted Question

Hey guys
I have been rooted with the Apex 1.4.1 rom for some time now. Recently, I read that the droid X will possibly be getting updated to gingerbread. If this is true, will I have to unroot to receive the update?
Thanks in advance!
-Mike
No you don't have to unroot but you will have to flash back to stock in order to get the update OTA (it will unroot you by updating). You can do so with a nandroid, sbf, or maderstcok. Or you could just update manually when the update is released, assuming that there will be an update soon.

I have a question about rooting. Well we be able to use z4root after the update?

If I'm completely stock, I just download, name it update.zip, boot into recovery, and choose apply update? Do I got that right?

For anyone who flashed the KB3 radio you'll need to flash back to KB1 for this update (it patches the radio).

If you're unlocked just flash the SU binary via recovery. You don't need a special rooted version.

If you've flashed your radio manually to the KB3 radio then you can use the .zip from my previous post that contains the KB1 radio. Flash that in CWM and you're good to go. If you haven't manually replaced the radio then you have nothing to worry about.

What you said in those two posts are two different things. I'm sure Netarchy will release a compatible version with 2.3.4 shortly. He's usually really quick on these things.
