i know for a fact that alot of ganeloft games are out for android but when I search they do not show up in the market (example: Nova, starfront, asphalt 6)
Yea what's up with that? They need to re-do the market. So unorganized...

is there a fix?
Perhaps gameloft wants to control the distribution of their apps by sale only on their site?
obviously in some other countries apps for sale are invisible, are you outide USA?

I assume your phone is rooted...
Try Advanced Task Killer after using Market Enabler.

I'm having that problem aswell, I think it has to do with where we're located (in an igloo up north)... I couldn't even find a viable apk on google...

You want to sink it? Hmm. Try an iceberg! It worked for the Titanic!

Nope, they're completely separate entities.

I know that, but when I go to update my application is there no way of the android market knowing that I've downloaded application from another source. They both basically have the same applications

Why would one update an app bought from the other? If you are buying from both you must have both market apps on your device, right? So together all your apps are being updated.
Don't really see the issue here.

Try to install the app from Amazon and then use Titanium Backup's "Market Doctor", it might work
Nah that won't work for paid apps. It'll show as installed in the Market, but if you try and update via the Market you'll be prompted to pay.

Exactly. I tried this with setcpu apk installed. But was prompted to pay before I could get the update.

did you then have a problem whereby market was always prompting for an update for an app you had bought via amazon? if so, how do you stop market banging on about an app you cant update?
Use Titanium Backup to break the market link.
I just opened Samsung apps store,,,and on "new" tab it is showing all the gameloft games which are FREE,,,,,
am i missing something here or is it really free??
Edit:It wont let me download any1 of those, saying this Application is not optimized for ur device ...now what does that mean..?
Hi, i think they are just a free trial, i downloaded trivial persuit and it let me play for all of about 2 mins before it gave me the option of paying £3 or getting the hell out of the game, ha.

but if it is not optimized for my device,,why the hell is it showing in app store on my cell??....i am sure it never did that before,,
Just use Android Market, it always shows correct price
Hi All
Does anyone got Google+ on your Legends? Since I don't see it at Android Market and wonder is it device or country/operator restriction...
I have it, and I've reinstalled it while in three different countries. Vietnam's, Japan's, and Canada's Android Markets all have it.
If you have root, use MarketEnabler (from the Market) to fake an American carrier and download the app.
Otherwise look in the General forums for an .apk. ;-)

I did not have any problems downloading it from the Market...
Here you go this apk for Google+.
Thanks everybody but I really wonder why on earth its restricted from the Market and who is the guy (in Google or operator) who suppose to click "magic button"?
It sounds absolutely ridiculous since I can use it through browser but not native Google app from Android phone.

I downloaded Google+ when I was in Singapore though. The Market in SG seems to carry this. Can't find it while I tried to search on the MY Market.
Cheerios.

Once you root there is an app called Market Enabler that will allow you to change which country the play store thinks you are in.
