Just wondering. I'm waiting to see when the rollout will start to happen. I keep checking manually for the update but no luck yet. I wonder what time they will start rolling it out...
I'm waiting a few people to say they got the green light, so that I can unroot, and maderstcok340 back to factory settings

Wow guess was after all just a rumor lol :-\
The new date is the first, kids.
You should be able to pull at midnight of the 1st.
How about we stop waiting in anticipation for something that isn't coming and work with what we have?
Where did you hear the new date is the first?
Personally, I think Verizon is being rather mean posting the changelog and withholding the actual download...:-D

That's for the manual download. The OTA should still be today. And I believe they usually start at like noon EDT.

Semi noob here ...
I'm on .595, rooted. Do I want to unroot and get this update, or should I stick with what I have? If I unroot, do I need to SBF to get back to Froyo to get tonight's update?
from what i've read u need to be on 2.2
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Geez, remember guys, they roll updates out in WAVES. All Droid Xs won't have it available for probably a week or two.

You should wait for the OTA to get rooted and get some ROMs going. At least that's what I'm doing.
But yeah, in order to receive the OTA, you'll need to SBF back to Froyo.
Once again motorola and Verizon has ****ed us over. Rumor after rumor this **** is ridiculous

I don't know anything about ISC but I know that ICS will roll-out next Tuesday (I see you're a new member and have new post, this Tuesday thing is a joke about ICS being rollout, ICS will be for sure released before September ends, so don't worry about it )

Now, THIS is something that actually might be useful rather than those endless "Brand X got ICS, can't we use their libs?"
Have you notified the devs?
Great mews!!!
faux123 is kernel expert, PM him.

Now this is news! Reading the title, I thought this was just like any other "Can we use their libs?" Thread. Great news its not.
Like what others said, I feel you should contact a dev asap. Not necessary a kernel dev, even Epinter will do. I bet he'll try his best to dig up something!
Sent from that Atrix... Motorola, where's my ICS?!

I don't think it may help, but let's hope for some magic

This is a source, devs can use it to make a kernel on this version, and then we can use current available drivers. The fact that it's a 2.6.39.4 is actually a great news !
Wow... I hope this thing could be use by our devs. I think we should send pm to epinter, jokersax, or faux...

Let's keep it short.
As confirmed by the Motorola Agent, the Lollipop soak test for unlocked Moto Gs(XT1033) will be available tomorrow i.e. 14th Nov"14.
P.S. - Well, its time. Time to say goodbye to those custom ROMs (which are not stable..even till now). Its time for me at least..

As much as i would love this to happen, i highly doubt it.
I am pretty sure that the Moto X will receive the l update before the moto g 2013 variant.
I just cant see this happening, we'll need to wait 1-2 weeks for this probably.
I agree with you.. Let's see..I don't think the people of Customer Care are sitting there to give us false hope.
