pw10a1 has changed

Hi All,
Thanks for all the initiatives and efforts, i have faced a problem, i am using a qtek with model number: pw10a1 on the back, after upgrading to siemens rom it has changed to pw10b1, so i'll really appreciate if one of you guys can tell me how to go back to pw10a1.

even tho it's a confusing issue but it has not impact at all on the device functions ... that's why it's always a must to refer to the rear sticker no matter what's written on the device info.

MDAII T-MOBILE HELP?

Hi all!,
i'm a fair oportunist! i logged into this world because i received an MDAII T-Mobile only in german language (as for sure you already know) and would like to convert it into english, french or better in italian.
Since 2 days i'm navigating between the posts, i'm learning a bit more but i fear to make a big mistake with my unit and i'm now really confused. I'm looking for a step by step procedure for real donkey (with all my respect for this great animal) of IT.
Someone can help me :?:

I have an MDA II as well, I haven't tried all of the XDA Developer options out yet so I may not have an answer to every question but ask away and I'll see if I can help.

Changing Language from Italian to English

Hi,
I'm a newbie at HTC devices (and Pocket PC devices for that matter). I just bought myself a HTC P4350 (Herald)... which I really really like BTW... I bought it in Italy and it comes with the Italian OS. Since I'm an english speaker I'd really like to have an English OS. I cannot find a way to switch this so I get the impression that this is part of the ROM. Can anyone confirm this?
According to HTC support once it is set on the device it cannot be changed but from what I've been able to read on this site I should be able to just load up a new ROM and be able to go with this. Is this correct?
I currently have the following version:
ROM: 1.8.408.2 ITA
Date: 11/03/06
Radio: 02.71.90
Protocol: 4.1.13.31
ExtROM: 1.8.408.101
Now the ROMs I've found on this site seem to be a little bit 'older'. i.e. 1.8.405 .1 instead of 1.8.408.2 for instance. Should I worry about this?
I would like to have exactly the same functionality and software I have now but just in English.
Any help would be appreciated.

i need some help, just sold out my wizard and im going to buy a herald. the one i'm buying as the windows in spanish, but i want to put it in wwe.
The phone is sim, inlocked but it could be cid locked, there for i may no be able to flash it with the new rom.
it seems there is no unlocker for herald but can i flash it easy?

I've bought my device HTC P4350 with configure as follows :

Rom datum 11/3/06
model : hera100
Radio: 02.71.90
Language : Dutch
I tried to upgrate my device with Mr POF's software. Unfortunately, it did not work properly. Everytime trying to update there's stopping in the 2% process with messages :
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
Im very disappointed with my device bcoz its mobile window OS is in Dutch. Hence, i really dont know how to use it effectively. That's reason I am seeking for a upgrade ROM image. Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!
It would be very greatful if you help me to switch Dutch language into English for my HTC P4350 . I will be very happy to pay you by return. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Men, look for this program at www.mylanguage.mobi
I see there are program for switching between German, Dutch and English. You may try to ask for Italian also. This guy is really helpful

hello everyone, i have a htc hero bought second hand from a friend of mine and i want to do a ROM upgrade, but i have some doubts/questions:
1.will my phone work only on 1 network, (i think orange uk)
2.will i lose all my settings, contacts, apps etc?
3.what rom should i use?
my phone's about info:

Build number:
1.76.61.3 146733 CL#46012
Software version:

hi
1) flashing a new rom will not touch the sim-lock. if it was locked to a network before, it will remain locked to the same network
if it was unlocked before, it will remain unlocked after
2) yes. you can backup apps tho, you can use titanium backup to do this
contacts can be saved to your google account so they will remain
MAKE SURE ALL CONTACTS ARE SAVED TO GOOGLE ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU FLASH
settings will be lost
3) i suggest you try villain 5.2, it works pretty good but you can try any of the roms in the hero development section, they all have their pros and cons

you can simply change the language to english on the o2 HD7 ... done the same on mine. its in settings / regional

I take it this rom is the same as what i have? But i did notice 1.19.206.01 is lower than mine.

Hi, would be great if you could upload this please.
Has anyone dumped the imgfs on the Schubert ROMs? xidump with the updated cecompr_nt.dll supporting XPH is failing to work here.

nothing really since the phone just came out and we are all probably on the most current stock ROM.
Someone might try to decompile it and make a custom ROM out of it, but without any unlocker it would be pointless.
Didn't Dag need some sort of fancy software to extract the files from the wp7 roms???
