Hi everyone,
please help me, after upgrading my phone to various 6.5roms last night-all was successful, and im wondering why before going to sleep, the last rom i upgraded it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows " then nothing happens after i tap the screen.
Next day, i'd try other rom, but then same happen, it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows."
uhuhuhuh, was my phone broken?????
Please help.........................................

Give more details plz.....
Anyways here are some suggestions
1. If in the tap screen the screen goes white then just guess the position of the arrow and tap in middle and u will see all.
2. Or try to charge your battery then try to flash a working rom....

Thanks a lot sir, what I did was I just take out the battery and memopry card for about 30 minutes, and flashed again the ROM, it's all okey now.

Lol, Btw hope to hear new lite builds from you soon, check out Andrewsh ROM using Asus P525, latest ROM 28217, its very nice and had been using his updated ROMs for more almost 2 years.

That type of rom i have already made and using it but it has no bluetooth coz i had to remove bluetooth for working today setting etc...
I wish that opal prob soon get resolved so that i can share rom with u all. No one is sharing the secret who have figured it out like nguoc although i have requested him lets see if he tell us or not...

But rem you yourself think thats not fair. As who taught them all these cooking stuffs offcourse our xda then when we are asking something why they cant share? Are we asking money to them? Just how to fix a problem that many are facing..

You have to download a ROM that has android 2.2 with it. You dont simply "install android 2.2" You have to install a ROM that USES android 2.2

Seriously????...U managed to locate XDA, then also managed 2 navigate to the HD2 Android Q & A section ...and u couldn't find anywhere 2 download android?...
Pls take my advice,don't start any operations on ur device without reading and fully understanding wat certain "TERMS" & "VERSION NUMBERS" mean...No pun intended

hi all,i have the android running on my hd2 very good much better than windows,but my problem is i keep getting the robot voice when trying too ring out,i'm completely new too all this so please be kind,i keep on resetting the phone sometimes she works but most of the time she don't,i'm know starting too lose patience with her if i cant get her too work soon she is going up against a wall and i know which 1 ill win,i have a very basic understanding how it works,but getting it to work would be something,i dont want too get rid as its the best phone ive ever had so pleeease help,kind regards jason

hey! thanx all of u..I got android..but whenever I run CLRCAD OR HARET..it shows an eror..that "application is unsigned or untrusted" & it does not boot up..

To answer your question, disable audible touch tones in Settings then sounds.

maybe u should cnange ur winmo rom?
Hello forums,
i got a new hd2 with runnymede rom running.tryed several roms before and got always the same problem.if i sit right in front of the wifi router, i got excelent connection.if i move 2 metres away connection is lost.
Tryed a few roms always the same problem can some1 help me to fix it or has a clear solution for it?

1. Restart the router
2. Remove the battery from the HD2 for 30 seconds and start it
If this doesnt work, your HD2 might have hardware issues
I tryed several routers, my WIFI worked well under WM its new, not 3 weeks old now.Will try this 30second out thing.

Try a different rom or reinstall the one you are using
And don't forget the radio as well
I also suffer from the same problem. Tried many ROMs and all the recommended radios. I'm curious, what does 30 sec of leaving the battery out accomplish? Is this some for of capacitive discharge procedure?

I have no idea, other than it has worked every time my HD2 all of a sudden cant connect to my router. Also works for my old TyTn II (kaiser)

As I said earlier I had problems with my touch screen, so I return back phone for guarantees. It's come back today, I noticed that service change my whole front panel and replaced my digitizer. So I rooted it, flashed new rom and kernel, then checked if it will be cypress, and ... wuut? IT'S CYPRESS.
Thank's to my operator and w-support.pl for wonderful surprise. And I didn't pay nothing at all.

Phone has some problems with touchscreen. He suddenly got a mind of it's own. It selected things when I'm not even touching the phone and when I do touch the phone it wont ever select what I'm actually trying to select.

hey guyz.....
plz tell me.......
there is somthing goin wrong with my phone ..........
all the apps (both system and 3rd party apps).......are going force close....
i was having a msgsng chat with my friend and suddenly warning, this app com. blah blah blah has been force closed........
then after 15 secs.....all the apps got force closed......
force close error than auto close warning then another app error than another auto close....
this happend around 40-50 times......then sudden stop.....
then no app woking every time i open a app. it just give me a force close error...
then, i was in menu screen when i was openning apps....
then i pressed back to get to my home screen then suddenly come.samsunghome force close.......
then i switched off my phone and boot in recovery mode, then cwm, then restore my nandroid backup, then restore but in the text that was scrolling , in the end it said error while mounting data...
and text stopped and back to cwm screen....
i thought lets try reboot then i was stucked in a boot loop just samsung comes and again samsung comes.....
help................

my recent history............
i installed creeds rom.....3rd party apps data connection not working......
an i needed net so much....
so i suddenly restored my nandroid backup (without reset)
and done.....
then this happened....
yeah i aslo remembered....
whenever i played bad piggies by manoj..........
i always noticed my maps in recent apps list before bad piggies,...........
but i didnt agreed to T and C's of mapps so i guess it was not working.......
today i accepted it and after arounf half an hour it all happended.........
any guesses,,,,,,,
so.....
i know many of the replies are gonna be use odin......
so i am already on it...........
but i will still like to know why did this happened...........
so just i can avoid getting in situation like this again..........
as said prevention is better then cure.........
4 post...... Just flash stock firmware...... Then install custom rom

honestly dude,
no one can teach you what and what not to do,
you must learn from every mistake you make with your device,
every brick is a lesson
the fun is trying to find ways to get the phone back working and finding out what caused such occurrence to happen

In my recent list( keeping pressed the middle button)..
Any idea that wheather it is a bug or somethinh..
I have not even rooted.my phone and problem is still here..
