My girlfriend's Legend had a notification for an OTA today, and after it installed, wifi doesn't seem to work, giving the message "Wifi is unable to start". A factory reset did nothing to help.
My gf's Legend had the same problem after a OTA update, tried everything except rooting it. Finally i took it back to the dealer which had it replaced immediately since it was only 2 days old.
try to factory restore several times. Once I had to do 7 factory restore just to get the ringtone working.
I had the wifi-problem, too.
Fixed it by running the RUU again (maybe you need a goldcard for that)

Hi all,
Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)
Android v5.0.1 - Official Samsung ROM
Baseband version: I9505XXUHOE3
Kernel version: 3.4.0-4760392
Last week, all of sudden, when I enabled WiFi, it did a soft reboot and was stuck in a 'loop'. I could not do anything apart from taking the battery out but as soon as I put the battery back in & powered it on, it keeps soft-rebooting. After trying a few times to gain access to the homescreen, I gave up and did a full factory reset.
Once I did that, enabling WiFi worked fine.... until this afternoon, when I enabled WiFi, it did the soft-rebooting all over again!
Between last week and today, there is no 'pattern' of what app I installed that would have caused this. I am at a loss and a bit fed up having to re-setup everything all over after a factory reset.
I searched via Google, did not find anything, so I thought I'd ask here...
Question: Is this a hardware issue or something else? What can I do to investigate and narrow down to what the actual issue is?
Thanks all.
This is still ongoing and I'm getting bored with doing a factory reset each time it happens.
But the fact that no one replies made me curious... could it be a hardware fault?
I even set it up with NO installed apps and it still happens so it must be hardware, yeah? Perhaps SoC?
Hi to all,
I have a big problem with my LG G2.
I have no cellular signal on my phone.
Yesterday my phone suddenly stop to receiving cellular signal and it never came back. I was on cyanogenmod 12.1 if that was relevant.
I've tried almost anything, hard reset, custom rom, all the things I can find online.
Today I've tried to full wipe the rom and reinstall, then tried to restore to stock with KDZ and Flashtool. Nothing changes.
Now I'm on stock rom, not rooted.
Screenshots are in the attachments.
Anyone have any hints or things that I can check?
Please, I really don't want to lose my precious G2
Thanks to all in advice,
Mauro.
