Requesting the 3d animation

Looking for the 3d box animation for the applications. I like touchwiz but hate the iphone side scroll rip off can anyone help?

Reboot from terminal

Once I have su permissions and I'm in terminal and send command of reboot it keeps saying not permitted...thoughts?

you could also try Quickboot. It gives you various options for what you want to reboot into.

Thanks it works too..I had reboot widget and it kept saying "fail to get root" even though enabled su perms..but whatever quickboot works..ill send thx when I get home

no problem, I'm glad it worked out

The reboot toggle on widgetsoid works too, if you want to incorporate with a home or notification widget
On top of the normal choices, you also get a hot reboot option

Boot animation sound

Can the stock boot animation sound be made into a notification tone? I am not rooted if that matters.

im sure theres another one out there but heres an mp3 i pulled from the animation. theres a slight pause before but if you have a ringtone editor it would be easy to fix.

You might be able to find it on Zedge..

search for the lg ally velocity rom open it up after download and there is loads of droid ringtones and notification sounds.

Boot sound- where does it go?

If tried every place possible ( that i think it should go but to no availe... tried in system/media and also in local/data still nothing... filename is Android_audio.mp3... Anybody know how this is applied? I'm on evodecks 1.0 btw..!! Thanks in advance...

Went to ur post but it just says the same thing i've been doing, using root explorer and putting it in the system/media folder, but for the love of god nothing happens... Hehehehe.. Thanks though, at least i know i wasn't doing it wrong!

I have no idea but taking a shot in the dark and saying maybe wrong format? If u got it from iTunes that may be why. Try using a regular mp3 or what ever is recommended...

Are you running aosp because they don't have boot sound as I am aware of

it would have worked in /system/media/ if you were on aosp, so i'm going to say ur on sense.
for sense roms, boot sounds go in /system/customize/resource/ (same as boot animation) and are named SPC_animation_final.mp3.

Random GPS

My girlfriend's Epic does something strange, whenever you scroll screens, especially the home screens, the GPS icon flashes for a couple of seconds. It did this on stock, went away when flashed cm7, and now it's doing it again. It does this with all launchers as well.
Is there a program that can trace what is activating this?

You could use aLogCat to view the OS logs it is available in hte market, though it may be a weather app or facebook, could also be some type of malware as well.

I have beautiful widgets on mine and it didn't do it. It flashes every time you scroll.
Didn't think about trying log cat.

Beautiful Widgets Settings -> Set Location -> Make sure 'Geolocation' is unchecked
