Since I got my xoom and have been using it, my xoom syncs well with my google accounts, but my DROIDX no longer syncs up on the push schedule I have set. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if its local to me. Thanks.

Just be honest with us now...the xoom is affecting your phone, isn't it?
Also no, everything has been syncing perfectly for me.

How can I read and reply to SMS messages from my tablet?
I saw an app in the Android Market called SyncMS.
The latest reviews said it is not working as it should.
I'd hate to purchase it and not having working properly.
Has anyone tried it, or know of another app and method that works?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
you can use remote web desktop, and its free too.
I'd take a look at DeskSMS.
I use google voice and works great even had an updated version today.

Don't you need to be US-based to set up/make use of a Google Voice account though?

I have syncsms and it works fine but you need dropbox as well as the messages go through it. Another good one is textab. That one connects phone through bluetooth instead of using dropbox. Pretty handy.

Thanks. I've never heard of Textab. It didn't show up in apps that were related to SyncSMS either.
Which do you prefer between the two?

I think textab is flipping awesome. Ridiculously easy to set up and use. There's a trial version in the market and the full version is available for $2
I use Tablet Talk and it has worked great so far. You can sync via bluetooth or through your wifi network.

I used to use this on my PC. Didn't know they came out with a tablet version.
I like how I can see and reply to all of messages, as well as share text clipboard between my phone and tablet.

Look for texttab in market and try the free verson first. If you get it working I is great.

Textab and Tablet Talk are both nice. Tablet Talk seems to have more features. I have both up and running. Trying to decide which one I want to keep.

Thanks for the link and info!!!
This app is awesome. Dev is working hard on future updates too.
I also like how it alerts me for incoming calls. That way I will know who the call is from, and will be able to get to my phone to answer it.

I have been able to get every google app to sync with the KF except the calendar. Has anyone had any luck? I have it working on my NT:S
I guess i should clarify...I am rooted

I had my gootle calendar sync'd along with my exchange yesterday. Only problem, I have no idea how I did it. Also, it really messed up my Gmail though. I was getting really old gmails showing up as new messages.
I ended up wiping and starting over. Now my gmail is working fine, but I cant see my google calendar!
It looks like there is hope, it's just going to take someone much smarter than me to figure it out.
I actually found a great guide on getting this up and running. Syncing with business calendar perfectly now.

You installed the calendar after you moved the files, not before? You need to install after moving it. Let me know one way or another if you have been able to fix it.

Finally fixed it!
First I updated the "GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk" from sl0ttedpig (30th November 2011, 07:35 AM):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369781&highlight=calendar+sync
then I copied to /system/app the "GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk" from this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19422233&postcount=24
Now I FINALLY have the checkbox under Sync Settings, and after checking it, the Google Calendar syncs!

Settings -> Accounts -> <your corporate sync account> -> Sync messages for: (It's way down at the bottom)
I know where the setting is but the longest setting is 30 days.

Oh, I guess I didn't read that thoroughly.
There is a way to use IMAP to connect to an Exchange server. Your Exchange admin might not be too keen on allowing that, though, as it doesn't let them enforce security policies (password, remote wipe, etc.).
Also- you might want to look at Touchdown or some other third-party Exchange client. I know you lose the benefits of using the integrated stuff but it might be worth it in your case.
My Tab 10.1 clock is off by about 20 seconds. I see no option for autosynch (with wifi server, etc). I'm also not rooted so an app like clocksynch wont work (at least not well). Does anyone know how the tab updates its internal clock and how to solve my issue? Thanks!
try 'clocksync', in the market. uses ntp server to sync your time. great app.
