use market enabler.!
How? Can you help me?
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
root your phone. don't how to do it? browse the development forum.
download market enabler from market.
As said above, install MarketEnabler (root your phone first).
Once you get it running, select "[us] T-Mobile" and you'll have access to the American market.
You can root easily by downloading Gingerbreak from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 (it works flawlessly on LG Optimus One).
Then, just go to the Market, download Market Enabler by RAC and fake your provider!
Note that rooting voids your warranty, but v1.2 of Gingerbreak has the option to Un-root (and peace will be restored to the world).

forget market enabler, get marketaccess, much better.
Press on the settings list tab. Then press and hold on a provider and select fake this provider now. Paid apps in your market after that, and also in playnow store depending on which provider you pick.

I am using my Milestone 2 in the US on AT&T. I cannot download the MLB at Bat application. It doesn't even show up in the market on my device. I can download it fine on my Samsung Captivate.
I think it may be that i have Brazillian software on my milestone... Any way to make the market think it is a US phone?
I think theres an app there called 'market enabler'. Im not familiar with it but I guess it does what u want.

I tried "market enabler" didnt' work. I guess the app must just be listed an incompatible for some reason.
Try installing from the PC, just login with your google account before:

yeah, my Milestone2 is grayed out and it says incompatible. So weird.
Alright, I have figured out that the App is blocked since my Milestone 2 is the Brazilian version, and MLB is only for the US app store.
Trying to figure out how to set my phone to US...
Hello,
It shows for me, I can download it.
Regards.

Tried with no success. Also tried to edit build.prop to set it to US and English. No luck there either.
Does anyone know if it's possible to link the android/google market with the Amazon appstore or visa versa.

I know that, but when I go to update my application is there no way of the android market knowing that I've downloaded application from another source. They both basically have the same applications
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Why would one update an app bought from the other? If you are buying from both you must have both market apps on your device, right? So together all your apps are being updated.
Don't really see the issue here.

Try to install the app from Amazon and then use Titanium Backup's "Market Doctor", it might work
Nah that won't work for paid apps. It'll show as installed in the Market, but if you try and update via the Market you'll be prompted to pay.

Exactly. I tried this with setcpu apk installed. But was prompted to pay before I could get the update.

did you then have a problem whereby market was always prompting for an update for an app you had bought via amazon? if so, how do you stop market banging on about an app you cant update?
Use Titanium Backup to break the market link.

I haven't had this problem yet on my tablet, but have with other android. Best solution I can come up with is to go to market and find the app and uninstall it from there... than reinstall it...
I would try that but I am trying to install it first! Its weird because Acer said that human atlas hd works on the a500. I have the Dexter 3.1 leak which means it should be I the market right? But its not there.
