Well from the general response I have gotten from the stores around Melbourne, only official Vodafone stores will be getting them.
I've heard Westfield Sydney and North Sydney stores will have them by the afternoon.

Made my way to westfield, and raindancerau was right about them stocking the 10.1v but they sold out already by people calling up this morning. More stock in a few days but as there is no waiting list you have to call on the day and they will put one aside.

Just came from Melbourne Vodafone store (corner of Elizabeth and Bourke). Stock is sold out - but at least the do have one model for display purposes 8) I've tried to start it - but battery meter was showing only 2% charge, so device went to sleep mode straight away.
Friendly stuff member said he'll charge it so I'm heading back to that store after 5 pm to get a feeling of honeycomb ;-)
just picked one from the Chatswood vodafone store in Westfield seem to have quite a few. Very impressed with it. Lighter than the ipad and the new Vodafine 850 network is getting fast access.
the store I got mine from told me they were only getting the ten they got today in.
Called chatswood at 10 today and they just sold out.
Found one in newtown and just picked it up. I asked for you guys and they have 5 left so call now!

Man, I did the hardware upgrade via a CSR on the evening of the 14th and he told me the stores would have them on launch date (the next day) so I could just go pickup the handset there. Well both yesterday AND today I have called EVERYWHERE and no one has it. Even the Rogers stores are telling me they will get it in a week....a WEEK? They launched yesterday but are not available in store for over a week....something does not make sense here . Anyone live here in Vic and found one?
have you checked all Rogers?
there's one at hillside mall, London drugs by quadua, downtown, blandshard/hillside, mayfair mall. actually ill help you ask since I work at the mayfair one.

ok rogers at mayfair mall got some in... 5 blacks and 5 white but their system is down so they can't sell them. I suggest you come on tomorrow and hopefully they will have received them into their system.

Just got a black one at Wireless Wave...then the other WW called me and said they had white! Damn it LOL Ah well black is nice anyway and I will be putting a silicone skin on it ASAP.

Got mine technically yesterday at 7:00 pm CST. I love it!
I picked mine up day after release at a t-mobile store. Was already a customer and didn't mind the contract renewal. Love the device. Apparently 20 stores in my area were sold out or didn't get their shipment, and the last store in my area had 2 devices left. When I arrived (They wouldn't hold the device for me...*sad panda*) They had 1 left....I got it. So happy with my purchase.

I received it this morning instead, along with the free beats headphones which I'll sell off somewhere.

I visited at&t store today and can confirm that they have Galaxy Note 3 in stock and are selling it today. This is in-store as far as I know.
AT&T store in NY.
I work for AT&T...only Note 3 we got is the one employees get.

Visited two AT&T corporate stores in NYC today. They have the demo unit, but no stock to sell, even though the demo unit has pricing, etc. listed next to it. One employee actually told me it was for sale today and I said "I don't think so, but I'll take one in black" - he came back and said he was misinformed by a co-worker and it will be available on 10/4. This was the flagship store in Times Square. I also visited the small store in Rock Center where I work and was told 10/4. Mind you, employees at both originally told me 9/27, then 10/1 and now 10/4...

Hmmm... I'm going by Best Buy tonight to see if they have them yet. Hopefully they do and I can pick mine up and play with it allllll weekend!:silly:

If you can, try the AT&T corporate store in Jamaica part of Queens. They have white and black unites in stock, and also a demo unit for you to try it.
I'll chalk that up to different markets. Our display doesn't go up until the 3rd for launch on the 4th.

Wish I could, but Jamaica, Queens is a long trip from mid-town
Looks like most of these employees got confused with when they get the actual stock and when they get the demos.
Just called the same 5 ATT stores I've been calling and some said the 3rd and 4th and some said the 1st still.
It's the 4th for the southeast.

Did they say they could sell you a phone right then? I was told today that they will have the units for sale on Oct. 4th by a store on the Upper East side of Manhattan. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45982456#post45982456)

I think people are using the word "confirm" llike its candy.
We have a bunch of "confirmations" for the last 2 weeks.
Confirmation = Heres my phone with pic of it and receipt.Otherwise you are speculating.

I am not sure why you posted this information. I went to the store and they didn't have any, even after confirming with me on the phone they had phones in stock.I posted my frustrating experience here.
