Theme chooser - Droid X General

Any kind of theme chooser to dx yet?

If you are running Liberty on Froyo, I believe that Liberty Toolbox offers a theme changer/chooser

Liberty gb paid. SOL I guess. Im starting to dislike this phone

Liberty on gingerbread runs through adw launcher, which offers you a little bit of theme flexibility. Also liberty v.5 offers a customize feature in which u can choose if ur apps are asop or blur.

Possible to change keyboard in rubiX Focused ROM?

I am new to ROM's and love rubiX Focused. My only gripe is the keyboard buttons are a bit too small. Is there anyway to use a different keyboard from a different ROM? Or any other advice would be appreciated.
There are a bunch of other keyboards you can download off the market.

Im looking to put the multitouch keyboard on rubix but cant seem to do it. Is it possible

Better keyboard, swift keyboard and smart keyboard pro all do multi touch, just search for multi touch keyboard and take your pick. I don't use Rubicon but they should work on any rom using android 2.2 it higher.
Edit: rubix not Rubicon (damn auto correct)

I used the Liberty toolbox (app management > Install add-ons) to change keyboards. I think there is a blur keyboard on there

That's what I use but I thought it only works with the liberty rom. I could be wrong, I haven't tried it with any other roms.

Ya I thought that the liberty toolbox only worked with the liberty rom but. I really like the droid x keyboard. If someone has used the tool box to add that keyboard I would love to know about it.

Custom notification menu

Hello, this is myfirst post on these forums. I recently got a droidx and put cm7 on it. Previously I was running MIUI on my droid1 and I miss the notification/toggle menu. Is it possible to get the MIUI menu on CM7 for the droidx? I have already downloaded the source for droidx cm7 if I must do it manually, but idk what I would need to change. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of any way, but you could always load MIUI on your Droid X.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Yes, but then there are some things I don't like about MIUI that I think cm7 does better. Custom app launcher from lockscreen, having an app drawer, etc. I have looked much into making MIUI seem more like cm7, but maybe that would be a plausable approach.

Liberty

Anyone want to tell me a rom better than liberty in their opinion?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Personally, I like MIUI, but i hate the launcher. Install LauncherPro.
I personally like Vortex rc1,its stable, great battery life and developer is top notch.

Miui I ran liberty for the longest time switching every once in awhile to something else but once I switched to miui I was done looking

Curious why you want the stock AOSP launcher... It provides no features no settings, and can possibly be slower than one of the launcher apps.
I haven't tried Slim ICS so idk what launcher they use, but I would recommend NOVA LAUNCHER, its pure ICS and if you don't want to change anything you don't have to tons of settings though.
Slim uses Zeam by default and IMO it's snappier. I just don't like the options it offers

oh well then I suggest you try out Nova Launcher if you want a more AOSP launcher along with plenty of features.
Idk yet. The script tweaks plus build.prop tweaks and gpu made the launcher run buttery smooth. I want to replicate the galaxy nexus expierence

Here's the stock launcher (launcher2.apk). I pulled it from ICZen.

put it in /system/app and make the permissions rw-r--r-- like the other system apps. reboot. You might have to clear the default setting for Zeam in manage apps and reboot again.
Thank you.
