Team Black Hat just released another version of Gingerbread..its 4.5.591...

Can you upload it somewhere so that the community can have it?
whats the difference any change log available?
Now I never got on to the last update only the first one so the only thing that I've seen that's different is the 3g no longer has a white box around it and I've noticed a v cast app for apps. It does not seem to work. Looks cool though.

Can someone please publicly post it so that the entire community can have it?
As with any TBH release, people who donated get it first, they make it available after the exclusivity period.
Has anyone who has tried this noticed any significant benefits over the first two releases?
Sent from my Xoom the way it should be, rooted and with SD card.
i no upgrade until riberty upgrade
I don't want to upgrade until its incorporated with Apex or Liberty. There's probably not much differences.

Editttt, edit
Yes it was released and my oldest son's Motorola Droid on Verizon already has the upgrade installed OTA when he booted up yesterday.
Isn't it grand waiting for SE and AT&T to get their collective heads out of their asses and push an upgrade out that is two revisions and eleven months behind.
Pathetic.
Are you sure about that? The sdk was only released a few days ago

Just pried it out of his hands and sw info states 2.2.1. Must be a small 2.2 upgrade. My mistake. Still doesn't provide an excuse for the ridiculous delay w/SE & AT&T.

I just felt like complaining a little and wanted to know if anyone else is annoyed with the new version of the market. The ui took a little getting use to, but my biggest complaint is how screwed up the reviews of apps are. The most recent are not at the top like they use to be. Now its a mix of anything from a week to a year old. We can't make a decision about an app based on reviews of versions that are outdated. Sorry, just had to vent.
We're comin from a pure power source.
Nope I love it, it's the bees knees.. :-*

I hate the fact that it will show an update is available for the app however, unless you have multiple and can therefore click "update all", you have to wait at least an hour or two to select update.
Indeed. The reviews are the only thing I'm not liking. It doesn't even make sense. I like checking the mentions when an app gets an update and this totally kills it. There is no structure / reason to it.

CM7 here too ... new Market got bumped over a couple days ago. I love the new look, but the ass backward reviews are ridiculous and rage inducing.

I hate the fact text and background color is so similar. Also stars are gray on a light gray background, makes it look like theyre missing. Make em gold like they use to be.
Not impressed too much by it.
They must've fixed the reviews, now I see the most recent ones first and in order
We're comin from a pure power source.
It's fine; I have no issues with the new market and like the look better than the old market. Other than that, it is the venue through which I get apps on my phone so in that respect it has not changed for me.

I thought this was an OTA update, do we need to load the .apk file to get the update, or is pushed OTA
You don't need to be rooted. Just put it on your SD card and use a file manager to install it.

Noticed a couple of wallpapers missing, the honeycomb one, and a couple more I think... anyone have a copy of them?
Don't think any widgets removed, but clock changed so doesn't look tron-like now.
Some widgets changed name or got more functionality like photo frame.

if this "private test" goes without any major errors reported by the testers...then it is exactly what will be released to everyone. The test notes say this....the test is really for the roll out and if there are any issues updating HC to ICS. This is the update....not a test with stuff missing.

I think you can run the public's officially released galaxy tab10.1's roms.
As long as u open up metainf/com/google/android/updaterscript in notepad++ and delete the lines with assert get prop.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Yes. I think it's weird too. It was first to get 3.1, so you'd expect it to get 3.2 first especially since its running what looks like almost stock Honeycomb.
I know I can run custom roms... That wasn't the point. And yes the io is a pure Google experience as far as I know

They onlycmade 5000 of these. i would guess there is more roi supporting the hundreds of thousands of the retail version than the 5000

It wouldn't b hard to start with a io base then ready it for the retail... And if there only being 5k of them is the reason why did the io get 3.1 first... Anyways I had to email Sammy for a return cause my screen is finally popping up so i asked support about this all in my email as well. We shall see if anything gets mentioned

Also interested in upgrades to IO edition
As one of the other 5,000 who has the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Google IO Edition tablets, I've also been trying to track down the 3.2 upgrade. I've a spent a good chunk of this afternoon searching the web, deleting/re-adding my Samsung account to the Tab, and (gasp!) even installing Kies to see if it would unlock any necessary driver or other changes.
So far, nothing - same as what I read here. So, I'm looking forward to know if/when the 3.2 upgrade will be available to us IO Tab owners. (Though, I admit, I'd rather see ICS.)
Thanks for keeping us informed if any of the rest of you make any progress in finding a real, official update path that avoids the need to update/install ROM images, etc.

I also don't care for 3.2 right now. It's all about ICS, but seeing how 3.1 was here first and now 3.2 wasn't. I'm almost certain now its abandoned.

May I ask why you want to run such a outdated rom?
Because I enjoy it.I honestly don't see why everyone's hung up on the latest thing.Latest doesn't always necessarily mean greatest.I enjoy ComRom and I subscribe to the adage if its not broke don't fix it.

No problem, hope it works for you. Personally, I'd run a GB+ ROM at this point, but to each their own. I'm on ICS AOKP build 25 myself, for today anyways. Tomorrow it could be the next newest thing, or back to CM7, or a GB TW ROM. The nice thing with the TW based builds such as ComRom/Superclean is that they just work, unlike a lot of the AOSP builds that all have their own quirks.

I hear that. I travel fairly regularly for work as well. I'll normally run my flavor of the week, just to see how it holds up. If it's not solid and reliable, then I'll roll back to something that is. A reliable GPS is a must, as most of the places I travel to are new to me. I'm anxious to see how this latest ICS build holds up on my next trip.

Nope, no themes, sorry. The CM7 I've been using is makelegs' build since the official nightlies shut down. For CM9, it's been JT & sbrissen's build. I haven't tried the latest version there yet though, so I can't comment on it. The ricks port of AOPK 25 has been running well for me. I had the non-working wifi in build 22, but it seems solved in build 25.
