Can anyone in canada get me one? - Xperia Arc General

Then make an ebay auction and I'll pay? I want one....

Where are you located? PM me and I can see if I can help.

Why can't you just order one from Rogers @ $550 + tax? No contract, and then debrand by yourself?

Obtaining a North American SE Arc

Anyone know where I can buy a North American version of the Arc that will ship to the USA. I see it available at Best Buy Canada but they won't ship it. No one else, not even Sonystyle seems to carry it. Anyone know where to get one?
Thanks
Check the Japanese arc thread. Lot of us ordered from a Japanese seller on eBay. You have three color options with Japanese model.
To me still Japanese(Docomo) is the best option since you get all the colors unless Sonystyle starts selling them from tomorrow...
color is not a real big deal for me and the Japanese reseller wants over $200 more then what it's being sold for in canada. Any other possibilities?

its not $200 over , how did you get that
Rogers from store price including taxes is $650
so this is without ebay fees or paypal or seller profit or shipping fees
the to get the japanese one with paypal only is $720 and he is shipping from japan.
so you do the math now
Good luck
Best Buy canada is selling for $550 as well as their Sony Style stores.

its 550 CAD + 12% tax = $66 CAD
total = 616 Canadian dollars = 651.3030 US dollars
Forgot about that exchange rate... But there still is paperwork with the FCC to deal with as well as 2 week international shipping wait time. I guess no one has found any place willing to ship it to the states yet. I've tried getting it shipped through rogers, sonystyle, and bestbuy and they all won't do it.

I went though this Seller from Japan.
Ordered on Sunday and received it on Wednesday (Free Shipping)
No FCC, since they already got the paper works.
You choose what is best for you, but we are trying to show you more option. You may better off till someone ship it to you from Rogers or here in the US someone starts selling them.
Good Luck
Edit: This guy on ebay sells them from Canada - Rogers

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm gonna contact the the guy from Canada, maybe we can strike a deal. If not I'll try the guy selling the ones from Japan. I'd rather get it unlocked and ready to go. It it seems unlocking and flashing the Japanese one isn't too bad. I've done some modding to my X2.
Look what showed up today on mobilecityonline for pre-order? Has anyone ordered from them? They have good reviews on Google.

I have no interest in paying 815 when I could import it straight from the UK for less with shipping included
549.99 is with VAT, you don't pay VAT to the states.
and there's a coupon code "20OFFLS" and it takes $20 off
So, total is 471.0 GBP = 759.252482885 USD with 2-3 day shipping.
anybody purchased from negrielectronics recieve theres yet

Also, by buying it in the UK, you retain the two year global warranty. Any device purchased outside its country of intended sale is considered grey market by Samsung and the warranty is void. So any Note sold in the U.S. has no warranty regardless of what the seller says. The only exception is Expansys-USA which ships devices to their branch in the UK should a customer's device need warranty work. SquareTrade covers grey market devices if anyone's interested.
The question was:
"Are there any sellers in the US that are shipping now or you think will be shipping anytime soon?"
Now we are comparing prices overseas. There is already a thread about best price.

Indeed, there is. I made the thread but most of those sites were speculatively pricing and now half the US sites no longer have the note listed and the other half, like negriel, increased pricing dramatically.

Buying from T-Mobile?

I think the full price is $499. Is this for 16GB version? And is this tax included?
Thanks.
Why would you buy it from T-mobile for $499.99 when you can get a 16GB unlocked for $349.99 straight from Google. Also http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+much+is+the+nexus+4+for+t-mobile .

Well, I would love to buy it for $350 but I'm currently a tourist in the United States and have no permanent US address. If you have any other recommendations, they would be appreciated.
And I know that it's $500 from T-Mobile but I was wondering if the sales tax is included or not.
My guess is the $500 is without tax included.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S4 - Where to Buy

Anyone found the cheapest unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4, either version will do, just the cheapest found would be appreciated..
Thanks
Unlocked-Mobiles is the cheapest site I have found the GS4 on... It is $674.46 AUD including postage! That is amazing! Although I don't know whether to wait a while, maybe it will get cheaper? Opinions? Sorry can't post a link, new here..
whick country?
I am from Australia, although as long as the s4 is unlocked i am happy for it to come from any country, all i need is the cheapest?

That's ~£460 here in the UK. Don't think you'll ever get it cheaper than that this year.

For Australia: Just like any online purchase, usually the only fee are related to the conversion rate. Either they convert at the banks rate (includes markup) or at usual rate plus percentage fee. Still cheap either way. Sometimes paypal is an option also. Buying in another country means you don't pay the added tax
So we're thinking that Unlocked-Mobiles has it the cheapest? If so is anyone going to buy it?

US Buyers: Importing?

Hey prospective US Buyers, do you plan on importing from an international seller (if so which sellers) or are you waiting for the U.S release?

For me, I'll be most likely getting mine from ebay seller never-msrp who is located in US and imports the phones.
http://stores.ebay.com/Never-MSRP/_i.html?_dmd=2&_nkw=xperia&rt=nc&_ipg=192
There is a thread about the seller in the Z2 forums.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2777998
I'll wait and see what Sony is asking on their site. Possibly go the eBay route, Amazon, expansys, or Clove. Currently clove is taking pre-orders at ~$610 USD including shipping, eBay is about $630.
Amazon is my first choice for purchase, or the sony store, then finally ebay
Credit Card points on amazon + prime = shweet
Importing for me!
I got my Sony Xperia Z1 from http://www.clove.co.uk/sony-xperia-z3-compact last time and had zero issues getting it on time and they also do bundles too.
I plan to get the Z3 Compact from them once they get them in stock mid Sept 2014. imo totally worth it since the imported versions usually have nearly all 3G/LTE bands needed too.
I might buy it from ebay. Ebay sends me offers for 4X ebay bucks offers once in a while, which is essentially 8% off.
Looking for the green version, but apparently only http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/phones/sony-xperia-z3-compact/monthly?colourCode=GREEN has it for preorder and they don't export

Good catch, thanks
is that expansys green for sure the 5803?
Pre-ordered a white Z3c from Handtec.
Quick question: Does importing this to U.S. mean this is a "grey market" device and has no warranty at all?
Clove has it for 500 USD including shipping!
Have anyone ordered from them? Did you have to pay customs duty?
Handtec has it for the same price, and the shipping is a little cheaper.
