Problem with "All settings" - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

I have a problem when clicking the "all settings" in the settings tab, sometimes it won't work.
I've searched and found that somehow the system deletes the files, so i have to go to "windows\start menu\" and delete the Settings folder and create again, than do a soft reset, so the system puts the programs back.
Do someone know what is happening?

I figured out the problem when visiting the settings I have to press the end buttom and do not click on de X, if I'd click I'd shut the all settings down and couldn't open.
Don't know what happens but the answer is DO NOT CLOSE THE ALL SETTINGS

Start Menu items in Settings: how to remove?

In my Settings > Menus tab I have several items which appear twice (i.e. Orange update). While not urgent nor really bothersome, it's annoying. Is there a way to remove items from the list? Just to clarify, this is not about adding/removing items to the Start menu but removing them from the items listed in the Settings > Menus list.
On the same not, some of the items (again i.e. Orange update) can't be removed. Error message "Unable to move this item" when attempting to uncheck the item. Is there a way to nevertheless remove them from the Start menu list?
You can do that by using a file explorer and going to the following directory : Windows\Start Menu\Programs and then just delete the icons you want ^^
Thanks but I guess that would have removed the items from the Programs folder (Start > Programs). But I solved the issue. Strangely enough, I had to delete the shortcuts of the applications (\Windows\Start Menu) which appeared twice in the menu of the Settings list.

Is it possible to create a new menu option?

hello
i have a 8125 and was hoping one of you unbelievably smart techies out there could whip something up for me or explain if it cannot be done. i was hoping to add a "Select all" option in the "Menu" just below "Delete" in my e-mail interface. basically if i have say 10 -20 e-mails i want to select rather than using the stylus and selecting all of them manually i would like to press "Menu" "Select all" then "Delete" can this be done??
any help would be greatly appreciated. also on another off topic note, when i use the "Meaasging" button at the top of the phone (the actual external hard mapped button) my phone switches to the mail accounts (i can see the name in the top menu) however there is no display the today screen is still visible where the e-mails should be. i have to close the mail and reopen it with the messaging shortcut from the start menu then all displays fine. i had a similar problem with the Pictures viewer and accidentaly came across a thread to rename 2 dll files, i did and that is now working. does anybody know how to fix this display issue with the messaging button
thanks again

deleting "t-zones" from start menu

hi. when i got to start -> settings and hit the "menus" option it doesn't let me deselect "t-zones." for some reason there are two "t-zones" selections, one right after the other; one is selected, one isn't. If I try to deselect the selected t-zone or select the unselected one i get the same error message "Cannot move that item." It pops up in a window that has a white X in a red circle logo to the left of the message. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Delete it from your windows - startmenu folder.
thanks, it worked.

SMS Deletion

Can anyone tell me how to move read SMS into the Deleted folder? After choosing the Delete option they seem to get completely deleted, rather than being put in the Deleted folder. Is this normal? Even when going via the "All Messages" tab, the option of Move isn't available. I would like to be able to clear the Touch Flow message screen but edit the Deleted folder later.
Thanks.

True, the messages get completely deleted if deleting using touchflo. My method (to get deleted messages to deleted folder) is by going to "All messages" - SMS/MMS Inbox - Menu (bottom right) - delete. This should send the message to the "deleted folder".
Thanks, You've solved the problem!
But be careful, by default only 50 messages are kept in the "deleted" folder, so you might lose messages that way. You can increase this value with a tool like advanced config...
To keep the manilla sms page clean i created an "archive" folder where i move all old messages, so none get deleted and the sms page only shows the newest ones...
How did you create the extra folder? I have tried to do this but Manage Folders option in Tools is "greyed" out on mine. Might not be a problem as I've just noticed that I currently have 51 items in Deleted folder! Might not have a limit on my version but would still like to make additional folders.

This is how I worked around. Edit registry to disable chat mode.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
Set SMSavailable=”0″ to disable chat mode (default is "1" = enabled)
Restart.
Go to "All Messages"
Menu - Tools - Manage Folders - menu driven from there.
Now you can move messages to the newly created folder including "Sent" messages. However I am not sure about the storage capacity allowed.

Method above is no good. It also kills the incoming SMS (sound) notification.
Follow this one. I've tested and works fine.

Bulk Delete Emails

One thing that annoyed me about the iphone was having to delete every individual email to clear the inbox. Then, you'd have to go into the trash folder and start manually deleting them from there too. WM was great for this, you'd just hit "clear inbox" and they would all dissappear. hurrah!
Android/hero seems to have copied the stupid iphone method. or... am i missing something? is there a better way to delete items from the inbox?
In the Mail app, press the menu button and select delete. Then you are able to select multiple messages to delete in one go

Yeah, thats what i'm refering too. If you had 50 emails you'd have to tap each one individually to delete it.
No, you don't.
When you are in the screen to select which messages you want to delete, click Menu again. It will give you the options to Mark all or Unmark All. This way you can delete ALL messages in one go. Remember that the Menu button changes screen over screen, many hidden functionality is there
