Overall What Is The Best Sexy Performance Daily Rom

Im all for performance, I like to get the most out of my device. I also like my interface to be the best looking to show off So with that said what rom in your opinion has the most speed, and stability, as well as all the apps running flawless ie: any video chat, flashplayer setcpu(no crashes) etc....
YES!!!!! i have read through the forums and i think i have almost every rom downloaded to my sd card ready to flash. Just getting mixed reviews based on alot of roms. Waiting to complete a trade over in the Marketplace and when i receive the Mytouch i want to flash something that will shock and amaze me right away.
What do you guys suggest and why? Thanks.

I say the stock rom that came with the phone and install SPB mobil Shell 3D. It is wicked!

Flash them and try them. Everyone is different. Don't know until you try. I go through a rom every couple days.

Its all personal preference... personally... I would rather slam my **** in my dresser drawer than be stuck on a sense rom. My wife on the other hand can't stand aosp roms.

Using the thunderbolt rom. And Ice glacier. Mainly thunderbolt though.

You really just have to flash them until you find one you like. That's why we try to release so many. Everyone had different taste.

Download quadrant from the market and try them all out. I have been getting my best scores from faux orange roms, cm7, ultimate droid, and now evil dhd 4 ext rom which was uploaded today.

Every search I have done leads me right back here. You could try ultimate droid, don't think it it's listed here. Google ultimate droid rom. Awesome rom in my opinion.

Just so you know UD/ROM has stolen alot of their stuff from Cyanogen(mod). Then they turn around around change some of the coding and make it their own.
That's why you will not see them on XDA.

doubt we'll ever see WP7 ported to an Android. That's moving back in time.

Yeah but in the end they gave credit so itse all good in my........phone? But yeah they did take alot from cm with out giving credit. This ud rom seems to be alot better on the battery then cm.

My problem is how they did it. They joined CM then wanted access to the codes and what not. Then they turned around and bad mouthed them on their own board, then stated their own leaving certain Cyanogen baked cookies in the ROM.... It's the whole point of what they did. I will not use their stuff nor recommend it to anyone.

yea. i read some of the stuff that was going on with it. very shady to say the least. in the end its a nice rom. dont really care about the drama end of any of it.
would of been a REALLY nice rom if they woulda just did the work together start to finish and continued together after words.

And any posts with links to any ultimate Droid roms will be deleted.

Ultimate Droid is banned from xda. If you want the story go to cyanogenmod.com and you can read all about it.
There may be a couple other roms out there on other pages.. but the ones here definitely get the most attention and the most fixes.

Actually, they (the dev) has a thread for the UD ROM in the HD2 section of XDA.

I will not use their stuff nor recommend it to anyone.

[Q] Who took down the MT4G 3.0 Fusion?

I wanted to know who took down the mt4g 3.0 fusion rom. It was up for like a couple of hours and now its gone. Did anyone get to download it and the bug fixes for it? If so pleassssssse repost. This the rom I've been waiting for because its the first one that actually has the working lockscreen and has all the widgets. So please if you were able to download everything, please repost, or better yet, could the people who created the rom please put it back up because this is by far the best experience of sense 3.0 for the mt4g. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Most likely is was a violation of TOS of posting ROMs on XDA.
The Mods around here do not remove stuff unless it's a direct violation

That rom belongs to a dev that did not want it this to be posted here at XDA

Not that they didn't want it posted on here. The dev that created that rom was banned due to differing philosophies between the forum managers and him. so now any of his work is not allowed on xda.
There's already a version of the fusion 3.0/3d up from evil d so just go ahead and use that one.

on the contrary based on rmk40 rom for the g2/dz, they both used Flemmard and Diamondback's resizing so essentially similar projects just done seperately, if it means anything evil d got his working and fixed wifi before rafyvitto did

rafy's is up on his site, android maisters, and is essentially the same as the one evil d ported. i like evil d's cause there's more activity in his thread which generally leads to more and more specific updates.

OK ladies and gentlemen. I have been busy working on a site for the Mytouch4g to centralize and make it a tad bit easier to get to what you want for our phone. At the moment it is still not ready for full release but I have a little test up so people can get an Idea as to what to look forward to.
This in no way makes the final product as there will be changes along the way but it does show the general direction I was thinking on taking for it. Let me know your thoughts and opinion and I am a freelance designer so I can take the critic punches.

Yeah that's what I will be adding. For not I will get it running with the most major roms mostly being ICS but then slowly adding in others.

Man, this is something that was extremely necessary but no one was actually motivated enough to do so. I mean, I personally know a lot of people who have mytouches and they dont know where to get the proper info about what they want to do with it... i totally have your back man. Try to get more pics in the thing, and you could possibly link the popular ROM's for the mytouches to the website

Very good idea, since I am laid off and short on money, I will be hanging on to my MyTouch 4g a while longer...

Eclair launcher

Just wondering if there is a free eclair launcher? There is one in the play store but its not free. I tried pushing one from another rom but it didn't work.

Really I wasn't asking for a cracked or pirated app. Just wondering if their was either a way to make a stock eclair launcher work and/or a third party launcher that will work. Please do not assume I was asking to steal anyone's work.

I was asking for an alternative, I am sorry maybe I should have specified. Take for instance I know of three gingerbread launcher in the play store 2 are free where as the other charges $2.00. I also should have made a seperate question is there a way to make a stock aosp launcher compatible with gingerbread miui? It was my fault for not wording my question properly.

Glad that got cleared up. I just looked around on Google for awhile and couldn't find any free, non-pirated eclair style launchers. Looks like you might need to shell out the $2.

Have you tried taking out the eclair launcher from a eclair ROM (if you can even find one...) And installing it as a system app? Make sure permissions are set to rw r r

Maybe he picked up a phone running eclair and said, "Hey, that's a nice launcher." I've done that before. Not with eclair specifically, but the same principal applies.

Honestly just wanted to go old school lol. Paying $2 isn't a big deal its just well it's not like I plan on using it that often or for that long. I like to change my themes/launcher often. One of the reasons why I love Android over other OS's
About pushing the launcher from a previous rom and pushing it to the system/apps via root browser and adjusted the permissions and it didn't work. I didn't try to use adb..up until recently I didn't have adb on my computer until a couple if months, so I am still very new to it.

A little late now but that has the stock eclair launcher.

I still can't figure out how to push it successfully, set permissions to Rw r r then used root browser to push it to system/apps am I missing something?

I flashed darkside cm7 and it did install but with force closing everytime I hit the home button. I do kinda like the swype up motion to get to the app drawer, also like lewa(spell check) any similar launchers like that?

Also is there a way to make miui look like froyo or earlier? I know their is a CM theme, but I see nothing for miui. I am far from a pro much closer to noob lol. I just want a stock Retro theme at the moment while still using miui. If not guess its time to reflash CM
