Hi!...I´m from argentina so my english it´s not the best...but I want to request help for the devs in this forum. I only have the idea...I don't know anything about developing of an app.
I´m trying to make an app to send sms over wifi or 3g.
I have 3 operators in my country (Personal, Claro and Movistar). What I want to do is an app for send sms from the webpage of each one, all in one app and with out using the browser.
For PC we have two programs to do it, like TSMCasim and ARGIM. (if you want to get the idea, just google this and you´ll see what i´m talking about).
So the idea is something like this:

though a good idea, would you want to enter a security code on each sms you send to save a few pennies? then, of course, the user doesn't always know how that sms is being stored. get that sorted, then you have a fantastic idea!

The code you see in the image is for sending the sms....because PERSONAL ARGENTINA require a code before sendin the text. And movistar too (i think) so the app should give you the code for you to put the numbers and then you cand send the sms.
About the storage of the sms....I realy don´t care...but is a good idea.

Guys, I've updated my old VJSMS and VJDialer to be slighty more compatible with WM5; I've also released VJEmail and VJSMSSender.
The latter is quite funky and like VJSMS, will prepare an SMS from the command line, but send it off with no interaction, and give you quite a cool notifcation.

Is this not a standard feature? I've never tried it!
Have a look around and see if there's anything that can already do this. If not, post a comment in the requests bit on my forum and I'll think about how to do it.

i need a photodial program that is on today screen and that makes it posibule to call contacts that i have entred in it with image by only pressing the image and nothing more.
the program is for my brother that cant use numbers or anything like that as he is handicaoed and needs pictures for everyone.
he also cant read so starting a program and then go wont work either need something for the oday screen. also the bigger the images are the better as ther is only going to be 4 contacts on his phone.

problem with this aps is that its fixed size on the caller images... i need some program that i can have like 4 images on the screen ower the whole screen
If you just want 4 huge pictures, you probably need to use a third party dialler or wisbar/WAD.
However, for a simple/simplistic today dialler, try claunch with my VJPhoneTools.

You'll actually need two programs to do this as Vijay said ; WA2 and WAD
But then you will gain full control of your screen, and graphic-sizes.....well you actually get TOTAL control

Just made a basic flash file, its a iPhone keypad made in flash, it can dial numbers, and hopefully in future alot more. Just thought it would be fun to make one.
Its not finished yet. Still goto do the "Contacts, Recent, and Favourites" tab.

this will be good when finished - though if you want to corner the market you will have to make it much more flash than Pocketcm - what can your app do that pcm cant do faster... I'd say add loads of animations (you might want to develop your project further by talking to the guys down at whoneedsaniphone.com

flash lite just kills my ram on my MDA. the interface is nic. it would be excellent if you could link the contact button to the PocketCM, as gturner has created an awesome iPhone theme (http://pocketcm.com/phorum/read.php?8,4359).

Hmmm I guess it can. Of course you'll have to convince a cooker to add it onto their ROM package and develop it.

What security suite is the BEST? What software should be on every device? I really don't know.... there is too much... RTConfig, Theft Alert (not working?), Sprite Terminator...
I just got new HTC Iolite device (English ROM version). It work nice, but built in Sim Manager v. 6.57 doesn't allow me put more than 14 symbols in SIM contacts name... I believe I can increase this number by editing registry.
May be someone know how it can be done and can help me?

It´s normal, the filesystem of the SIM-card limits the entrys.

Thank you for replay! I don’t think that is normal because most of my SIM contacts have cut last names and on my old Nokia phone everything was shown properly... I read on some forum that Sims Manager has this limitation because of code page version used by WM 6.1... So I asked if some body know how fix this issue.

When you save the contacts in phone memory, then no restrictions. When you save contacts in SIM, then restricted and no contact-pics and adressfields avaiable. (by all phones).
