[MOD] Tegra 2 Nvidia/PowerVr Plug-Ins

This method was tested on a Rooted Thunderbolt running stock rom. Original post was from myTouch 4G. I played Fruit Ninja HD and Plants vs Zombies HD without a problem. May not work on all games.
Install:
Go to the Market and download "[ROOT] ChainFire 3D". You can use the Free version, or just go ahead and chalk up the $4 for the paid version.
Download the Nividia Lib from HERE. Put on /sdcard/
Install CF3D Driver by clicking Install/upgrade/ uninstall CF3D driver.
Then Set the CF3D as the Driver. It will run a script and reboot.
Open Chainfire3D:
Install Plugin
(will search your /sdcard/ and show
Install Plugin
libGLEMU_NVIDIA.zip
Click the Nivida Plug-in. It will install it. When you see plug-in install complete. Press back button, and select
Default OpenGL Settings.
Click: Use plugin. Select Nvidia. Exit !
********Missing HD Apps in the Market?
Option 1: Buy the pro version of Chainfire 3D and use the fix market option in the app
Option 2: Edit build.prop. ****Solution thanks to Thunder Droid

Changes:
ro.product.model=Olympus
ro.product.brand=verizon_wwe

ro.product.board=mecha
Of course do this with root explorer, and save and exit then reboot, once your back up, go and clear market data, good luck!

You may want to remove the lib link.. I think its against the rules, you can find it on google

Well the hack that shows all market apps. I am on stock rom rooted without market hack and it shows up.

Didn't lnow there was one... I'll have to search for that...

Is it possible that this could improve the overall performance of the phone? Especially when running sense 3.0?

might have to try and find this unlocked Market.

It doesn't seem to show up on BAMF right now for some reason. I will PM them and find out if they would know why. I will let you guys know when I hear back

What's the deal with the oops communication error in openfeint games on the xoom? Ie gun bros, age of zombies, etc.

+ 1 having the same problem. Which with new games suck cause it trues to load every dingle time

I don't have that problem. But I did back when i had a modded framework.apk because I had a custom theme.

It would be great if this could be fixed. Does it work for most people running stock and it's just something that was broken during development, or is this just an OpenFeint/Honeycomb compatibility issue?

Most likely its because roms use the ua mod so you Xoom shows up as a desktop pc. You need to flash a stock framework file.

CM7 Adobe Flash Player FIX!

Do you get those annoying purple geometry shapes and glitches when you try to play flash videos on the Atrix with CM7 on certain (most) flash videos out there with the browser? Pretty much the only thing missing from Atrix CM7 was good flash player support.
I found a fix!
What you need:
-Flash Adobe Player 10.2
(http://androidadvices.com/download-the-latest-adobe-flash-player-10-2-for-android/)
Got mines here, but you can use another source if you don't trust it. Worked for me though.
-ROM Manager
1. Uninstall any Adobe Flash Player you have on currently on your Phone.
2. Install 10.2
3. Launch ROM Manager and fix permissions
4. Restart Phone
5. Enjoy high resolution and low resolutions without any glitches!

Hm, will try when I'm back to CM. I used to do the ol' flash 10.1 & then upgrade in the market, that used to work - most of the time..

This worked for me. Keep in mind you are exposing yourself to security vulnerabilities with outdated flash

That's why I wont be doing this even if its a valid fix.....hopefully a new cm7 beta comes out yhat fixes that issue as flash player isn't so important to me at the moment but it'd b nice to have it working......wish there's was some flashable zip fix or something........

I just turn off fullscreen, then turn it back on and that seems to fix it for me.

Oddly enough, installing chainfire3d improved the performance of games and browsing. I get less fc's and less random reboots. I'd reccomend trying it out

O definitely have that problem. I have to reload until it works. I have trouble at the worst times when im trying to get pron.

k , it says in the market my device is incompatable

whoops, just found this thread, i used the chainfire3d method...worked perfect and i installed through the app itself, not through cwm...which i normally would and recommend.
Anyways, all is working now...cheers to everyone for the discovery!

[Q] Can't play angry bird

I downloaded angrybird Space free version as well as Angrybird HD and installed them. When I start the game, all the sounds and cymbals, I can hear, but the game seem to be stuck before it even start. I can see the sun and the deep black space for the initial intro but it doesn't move at all. Can't seem to click anywhere. Any ideas anyone???...

Seems you downloaded Space without the angry bird
Sorry for the joke... are you using any alternative video drivers? I don't believe this can be an issue if you are using stock.

u can choose engine u use at anytime, if thats really the problem, u can
1. disable the engine when u play angry bird
2. download pro version so u can just enable the engine per app, like just enable THD engine for THD games

It sure does work after uninstalling chainfire 3d driver, but what i found strange is that I could play Samurai II Vengeance without the chainfire 3d driver. Awesome...

Find a good rom,like gs v2.3,flash it,then dont reboot.in recovery find the reboot in recovery option.select it,then go and full wipe again,except system this time(no.sd card ofc).flash perfectpeso v1.7 kernel and then start ur phone.you ll be amazed how smooth games will be even on 480-600 mhz.hope you ll try,good luck
