Hello,
I recently tried to activate the wp7/HD2 Live services. I followed this guide and everything worked just fine
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911579
But after I rebooted my phone and entered my pin, the screen stayed blank. When I tab the upper part of the screen the wifi and battery symbols appear but the rest of the screen (where the tiles should be) is black.
Keylock works and is visible.
Has anyone ever had this problem?

I have wizard (I believe it's a QTek 9100) and today when I turned it on, the screen didn't work properly.
1) It was way too bright, almost completely white.
2) The top line is repeated, so you get vertical stripes (When holding it in your hand with the speaker at the top and microphone at the bottom)
My theory is that the horizontal sync line is broken. The PDA still works (The touch screen and buttons are reacting) but without a working screen, it's not much use.
Anyway, is this a known problem, and is there a solution?
So my phone's screen suddenly stops responding to touch, flickers and the display gradually dims to a few horizontal lines.
It spontaneously starts working again, but is still dim and streaked. All the phone buttons are perfectly working however.
I've hard reset the phone, removed the battery and sim and restarted it again but neither made a difference.
This is a German phone, so Samsung US support cannot help in any way. And no, I can't call them in Germany.
You don't have to offer a magic solution, but if you at least know what the cause of the problem is I'll be extremely grateful.
it happened to me just once & gone when i was on marketplace
i don't know why , it just gone .
Recently My s4's screen stopped working. No visible cracks or anything however the screen only displays green dots that slowly increase while the screen is on until the screen is showing a solid layer of green. I want to know if i can somehow Display the screen on my computer since the touch screen itself still works. I can still unlock the phone by blindly typing in my password. Phone has Cyanogenmod(11 i think) on it and works 100% perfectly fine other than the screen. Thanks in advance!
Hi guys, I have experienced a number of screen relates issues on my D800 since the Lollipop upgrade. I am pure stock, took the upgrade OTA from ATT.
1. Knock on stopped working. Knock off works OK. I tried all of the suggestions online, update touch firmware, etc. but still no help. This is no big deal since I can use the back button to wake up the phone.
2. I noticed scrolling was unresponsive in Chrome but ignored it because I thought it might be me.
3. I was out and on the phone and I noticed I could not hear her well all of a sudden and then the call got disconnected. I tried to put my PIN in to unlock the phone but that area of the screen was totally unresponsive to touch. I could enter the numbers in the second row of the grid but there is a 1 in my pin and that would not register. I restarted a bunch of times which I had to do only with buttons because I could not click 'OK' on the screen to confirm the restart. I got a screen on the phone saying my screen was unresponsive and this is how to answer calls only with the buttons etc.
I got home and used by OTG mouse connection to enter my pin and navigate the phone. I did a factory reset which I had never done before. The responsiveness seems better now. There seems to be one section of the screen that is unresponsive, right near the middle. I can't click on any of the icons in the second row from the bottom. I can get to the notification shade which I don't think I could do before.
I am attaching an image of a memo where I just ran my finger up and down the screen without lifting it. You can see the dead area.
Has anyone had this problem or knows of any solution? Thanks very much.

I just RMA'd it. It probably is the same problem you had but I am pretty sure I am still under warranty so I just sent it in.
I changed the display , the touchscreen of my one plus. The screen is a lcd and not amoled but works perfectly. After 3/4 days by using it , it started to give me some problems and the only way to fix it is going on the twrp and go back on the old backup. The duration of the problem is not the same but change. This problem comes up when i try to open an application, unblock the screen or after ending a call. The screen just go off and doesn't turn on again, if it gets restarted it will work again but once i get the pin screen it only show it for 1 second and then the phone just turn off auto.

Could be proximity sensor getting blocked. My friend also replaced his screen with an LCD panel. This problem occurs when he calls anyone, so to restored back he uses power button and screen switches on again.
