i read something labout this somewhere in samdroid forum but i reaaly don't remeber the topic, whatsoever, it was said that they tried to edit build.prop but it did nothing, it was reported as working on samsung moment or ace or galaxy 3 i don't realy remember but on our spicas, it did n't! btw i bricked mine today so i think i should leave this forum lol!

loool, i think i will leave this forum too as i don't own a Spica my freind does, i'm getting a Galaxy S by the end of the week so i'll see you in the Galaxy S forum then and thanks for the replay

Yes, there is- edit media_profiles.xml file, this one is tested and working good.
Only on CM7.

No, you're wrong. This was tested on CM6 and SpicaGen Mod (CM6 based)

loool look at the date and time when i wrote this, the galaxy s2 was just a rumor
Yes, it can record in 640x480 ~15fps, the difference in quality (not the frame rate is huge).
I'm using that mode right now but can't post anything because of link limit.

Download link for 2.2 is only available since today.
And unless you are willing to sacricife your phone for testing purposes AND know what you are doing DO NOT be tempted to play with this. The dev thread is already full of posts from people that don't even know how to use the basic tools.
What the heck, go ahead and play and make sure to give detailed issue descriptions nd possible solutions .

Yeah, it works. Just download it, put it in "/data/local" and reboot. It needs to be named "bootanimation.zip"
