[Q] Selling HD2, Simple Questions - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi guys
I have to switch to sprint so I must say goodbye to the HD2 and hello to a white Evo my question is do they sell better with or without Android software? and whats the price point i was thinking $200 mine is in excellent condition but I dont want to get cheated. Also I wanted to keep the 16GB SD card since the Evo only comes with 8GB should I lower the price because of this?
Thanks for your input guys!!!

Checking Craigslist in my area (San Francisco Bay Area) I see HTC HD2 phones for $200-$220 asking and that is stock. Ones with Android on them in a dual boot SD system are asking for $250. So your $200 asking price is right in there in my area.

sell my HD to buy an iphone?

i'm hacked off with windows mobile so probably going to sell the HD
has anyone looked at selling theirs to buy a iphone?
i'm after a 16gb model
anyone know if i'll be able to get enough for a mint HD to buy a new iphone?
i'm sure others have looked into this before
i'm in the uk if that makes any difference
Considering how long ago the HD was launched I can't imagine that it will sell for top dollar.
the highest offer i got on my HD that i recently put on ebay was 475 plus 20 shipping. I relisted because i want at least 500 for it.
I sold mine is feb for $690 on ebay and bought an iphone. You will get enough for an iphone for sure (at contract price).
Will buy the new iPhone 3GS regardless of whether I get good price for my HD or not. Will also keep my iPhone 3G 16GB for my family. Everyone of them wants me to pass to them.
cheers guys
Its about 1 month old as i had it replaced, and is in mint condition
its not however unused, but you cant notice that it has been
Will the prices of a pay as u go iphone (non S) drop when the S is released
How long will i have to wait?
Currently i think i can get a 16gb model for £340
so i'm hoping i can get that for my HD
cheers
You shouldn't have a problem selling it for at least £350... I was monitoring the HTC HD up till 2 weeks ago (I got mine last week, finally got it under contract from O2) coz I was thinking of getting one without contract..
All the phones were going for above £300, even the ones where it's been 'used' for a week or a month...
Might be selling mine on ebay after I get the TP2 with Tmob USA!
why dude whyyyyyyyyyy?
put a dutty or miri rom on and you're golden.
Good luck with your fruit.
Have you tried ebay?
Off topic. Hey homer that is a beautiful American Pitbull you have looks alot like mine but mine but with less white, to bad idiots and the media give them such a bad rep.

well ... OS3 sound great ... at least IPhoners now get "copy & paste" and some other nice features
and about the "S" ... hm ... we'll see
but always remember ... it's all about Marketing and those guys and gals over at Apple now that job
good luck anyway
i've no doubt the hd is better in terms of specs etc
however, i want something that is quick to use, and doesn't give you rsi as you need to put a fair bit of pressure on the screen
who knows, i maybe back in a month!!!
You wont be back in a month trust me you wont be back to the HD at all.

lol, I've used the iPhone 3G for some months and now I'm back to the Touch HD and probably won't get an iPhone again (at least I definitely won't get the 3GS, I'm waiting for the Samsung i8000 or the Acer F1).
The iPhone is still way too limited. At least it's got copy&paste and voice control now but the camera still sucks, it still can't download things from the internet, the display resolution is still bad and lots of other things that were disturbing me.
Unlike the iPhone, my Touch HD does everything I want (except for good pictures in low light) and there's no situation where it lets me down because Windows Mobile is limitless.

[Q] How much would a used HTC HD2 sell for now?

Hey folks,
I believe it's time for me to part with my beloved HTC HD2. I was wondering if you all can help me price my device. I've checked around ebay, and it seems to be in the range of $150-$200. I was offered $150 on craiglist, but I'm not sure if I should bite. My ad has been up for over a week and it's the first offer made for it. It's so hard to give this up. :/ Thanks in advance!
150 is about right for selling a full working used HD2 that has very little scratches/blemishes. It all depends on condition.
Unless you have a mint HD2 and have everything, including the accessories and the box, then you might have a chance of selling at ~200, but anything above that is pretty much a ripoff.

[Q] Is this price possible?

I am really big fan of HTC HD2, but I still get tired with my old Omnia i900. Yesterday searching the Internet I found HD2 in very strange price - 567 PLN (about 185 USD). And my question is: should I try and buy this one or look for any more expensive? Should I trust this seller?
As device is 4yrs old that price is possible for old stock, I buy them around 90USD for 100% working clean examples with void stickers still present ...
Hm... I forgot to write it's completely new. So it is really, really strange.
I can buy new old stock for about same here in Thailand, seems about right to me. At HD2s age you get no HTC warranty & it is old hat hardware by today's standard, they need clear them & HD2 demand is not so high these days so prices have fallen.
So do you think I should buy this one?
No idea as not seen the retailers details, if has some form of buyer protection & return policy then might be worth it as buying used HD2's is only good if can be hands on with device prior to purchase as eBay etc are full of the sh1te used devices.
I sure would not want spend more on a new old stock 4yr old handset with known digitiser & bga failings.

I am not recommended you to buy this. Because i think it also old. You did not get same version from old version...
You'll try to buy an used item on ebay.. it's an old funny phone.. but I bought a Nexus 4 for that price!
great post

i am wondering anybody is still using this device today
I have still 2 HTC HD2 at home.
At the one the screen is broken and in the other the mainboard seems to have a problem.
Actually i wanted to join them. But since i have a Moto G, the HD2 is nearly completly out of my Head.
But i had really nice 4 years with this device.
Do you really want to spend this much money on such a old device?
I don't know. I would really recommend you not to do that.
If you are a dev, then it is maybe ok, but as a simple user...?
I think the times are nearly over or not? But if your money is falling out of your pocket
As i said did not follow HD2 since 5 months. I would reccomend you to buy a Brand new Moto G.
Google converted middel class Hardware phones to low class price phones. Excellent!
looks like a used phone to me.
