is it possible to somehow make a clone of sony's new oled walkman? liike instead of using the media penal player, have it look like the walkman's touch interface?
i saw some vids and it seems to be pritty smooth and touch friendly.

I am a fan of cyanogenmod, as many others, but i hate the stock android camera app. so my request is that someone good with porting/baksmali can port this apk and make it work. i think the camera app is the only disadvantage of stock android/cyanogen.

count me in hate the stock camera/video app not many settings to play whit
the issue that will probably come to light is that it will no doubt need the htc sense framework, not sure if just the frame work can be ported or not
the contact app would also be sweet ^_^
The contact app is lovely on the stock HTC Desire sense 2.1
What I really miss about the camera is the tap to focus/hold to take photo part. I took some photos at a concert the other night on the stock android camera and it just could NOT hold focus.

The contacts app on Sense is horrible. I find it really slow and unpleasent to use. I'm fairly sure that it plays a large role in Facebook sync not working.
I would love the Sense calendar though.
Also, the Sense browser (well, just the text selection bit) and the Sense USB connection type screen would be amazing!
Or if the official Facebook and Twitter would integrate into a Sense rom like they do in Opendesire / any other Android build, it'd be fantastic.
The upcoming open desire rom may have 720p. Not sure if this means the htc camera or not, but it's a start

Same! HTC Camera and Contacts would be nice in CyanogenMod 6!
The text selection would be amazing. The default Froyo text selection is so poor in comparison. I'd happily pay for good text selection.

Are you crazy this phones are better than x8,and sure have better graphic but i used floyo and my friends iphone 3gs and didnt looked so fast so i will stick with x8 for some time and maybe buy xperia play.
EM your post doesnt have any sense , revrite plz. On the net we have 3d launcher spb shell it works so maybe there is some way to port this new launcer , but using it will cost a lot of memory

I recently bought a HTC Desire S, and is pretty thrilled about it, meaning both the android OS, and the HTC Sense UI.
But - HTC Sense doesn't support ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec), which sucks for me bigtime, as I think the Sense-music player is as good as it gets, pretty much. And, since much of my music is in that format.
I also use HTC Sync to put music on my device, which is pretty smooth because of the iTunes-playlist support.
I know there is a bunch of other players on the market (currently using poweramp), that could solve my problem, but I would prefer using the Sense-musicplayer, because of it's simplicity and smooth UI.
In other words, please don't just advise me to use another app, since I'm already aware they're available

Is there a way to get HTC Sense to support ALAC-playback??

This video shows my HTC evo 3d with a sense 3.0 lockscreen that can take images from any folder i specify and animate them around before I unlock. Im looking for something similar for my honeycomb 8.9 tablet. Anyone know if there is something out there like it?
Mate your best bet is to get WidgetLocker from the market......gives you many options for lockscreen themes, including Honeycomb and ICS, and im pretty sure the lockscreen your after is included
