Get them while they're hot!
I managed to grab the system and recovery partitions after flashing Tiamat onto my boot partition (and thus trashing my clean boot partition). I had robbiev80 help me out with his new Xoom. Flashed Tiamat into his recovery partition and booted into that. I had already confirmed that my bricked Xoom and replacement Xoom had perfectly matching recovery partitions. From there, we grabbed his boot.img and system.img.
I did a file compare against his system.img file and found something strange... It was different by 5 bytes (out of 268 million). I honestly can't tell you whose system.img is cleaner. I wouldn't try OEM locking with these. But I did provide MD5 info for each file (including the missing one you can easily generate with a hex editor. I included the differences in the text file in the ZIP.
Anyway, grab them while you can. I'll probably pull these once Motorola gives us official Xoom Wi-Fi image files.

And here are screenshots showing the differences between the US and Canadian versions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041245
US image files can be obtained here:

UPDATE:
System images from Motorola are at http://developer.motorola.com/products/software/
The first thought that comes to me is the question of what would happen if one were to flash the Canadian images to a US device...
What do you think, will the 5 byte difference mess things up?

I don't think so. The 5 bytes could be something insignificant like a time stamp or something. Both files also came off of working Xooms. It could be in a file itself but I don't think its important since they were zeroed out on my friends Xoom. If I remember right, just doing a remount changes it far more.
Flashed and confirmed working on US Wifi device.

Do you get additional languages in location? Like could you change language of the system to Russian one? Also could you download from the market missed Book app?
Looks like it did add quite a bit more languages but do not see Russian. I don't see the books app in the market :/
Extracting it from a US dump should fix that.

Thank you! Without your help, we wouldn't have the boot image.
I kinda wonder if the Canadian version is more of an international version than anything. It's just all the extra languages listed that makes me wonder. The English/French/Spanish of the US seems to imply it's more for a North American market. But I think because we're not supposed to get Google Books in Canada, that may be one reason.

Yup! They even have multiple versions of German localized to different German speaking countries.
Somebody please be so kind and post screenshot of the all languages included into Canadian rom.
Ok I have a usa wifi only xoom and i'd like to put Canadian rom into my xoom because of Italian language. What should I do exactly? I should for sure root the xoom first of all, and then?

You only need to unlock your XOOM to flash the boot and system. You can get the images from the link in the previous post in this thread.

Ok here is a simple tutorial for any new to this tab stuff like I was yesterday.
I take no credit for this just wanted to help compile an easy solution.
It is so simple once you figure it out.
First download Odin v1.7 here unzip it and stick it on your desktop,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=478059&d=1293895557
Then download these files.
http://files.deodexed.com/ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet/Rotohammer/JME/
These zips need to be unpackaged to get to the .tar files. Pay attention as Winrar will see .tar as a .zip too. (read the file extensions or you can't select them in Odin.) Stick the 3 files (pit, modem,FmInsSD) into a folder on your desktop. (You no longer use the "Jme-hidden" file shown in the pic.)
Attach your tab to your computer, if you have windows 7 the drivers will be installed for you. If you don't you'll need to get them from here.
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/c...G_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.3.350.0.exe
launch Odin v1.7(if you get an error about some missing .dll file then you need to install the Microsoft .Net framework)
It should look like this once configured correctly:
MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU ADD YOUR FILES-THE TAB IS PLUGGED IN-YOU WILL HAVE A YELLOW COM BOX CIRCLED IN THE PIC IF IT IS CORRECTLY CONNECTED AND READY TO FLASH.
ALSO YOU MUST HAVE A BIG TRANGLE ON YOUR TAB WITH A DIGGING ANDROID (to do this power up the tab while holding down the down volume button)
Looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
LOAD THE FILES AS SHOWN IN THE PIC THEY ARE CIRCLED IN RED
MAKE SURE REPARTITION IS CHECKED THE OTHER BOXES ARE CHECKED BY DEFAULT-LEAVE THEM HOW THEY ARE.
ONLY IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING DONE. (DOUBLE CHECK)
HIT START
Do not touch anything or use your computer it takes about 5 mins to reboot your tab to the kies sync screen.
your done enjoy!
HIT ME SOME THANKS IF THIS WORKED FOR YOU.
Nice work.
You might want to specify that this is for gsm only as many may not be aware.
I on sprint so I guess I have to wait but it's good too see this kind of work being put out there.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I'm from austria and have only one question: since i have flashed my tab to jm6 and higher, the bootloader is protected and it's not possible to go back to stock (in my case: hutchinson 3g austria).
now i have flashed to roto's jme, it work very fine! but he's writing, that's possible to go back to t-mobile stock (usa), no matter the bootloader was signed (protected) before flashing or not.
is there also a way to go back to others stock arround the world??? or is it only possible for t-mobile usa-users? thanks a lot!

I doubt it. You either flash custom firmware and enjoy it, or sit in front of your computer hoping/waiting for Kies to update you
I think XDA has provided way more updates than Kies so far.

+1 to Roto's answer. Kies reads your firmware version when you connect the Tab and will only offer you an update if it recognises that there is an upgrade available for the firmware it sees on your Tab. This generally means that if you have flashed pre-release firmware which has development / test codes it won't offer you any of the official production upgrades (or any upgrades usually!). It is possible to fake your Tab's signature in Kies to make it flash official releases over dev/test firmware, do a search on the Samsung Galaxy S forums for how to do this.
Don't think so. So far kies have give me 2 updates. It work amazingly. Now is smother. Just my opinion.

Hello guys,
I have a Motorola Xoom and I can't wait to get ICS. When I browse the ICS topics, I see a lot of people who changed their xoom version to US, fe from Canadian to US. I don't know wich version I have, but it's not a US version, because I still don;t have the upgrade. If someone could maybe give a short description of how to change it to US, I would be so gratefull!!!
These steps worked great for me

Just follow up to step 3 ...then just wait for the OTA updates
My xoom was the UK version... now running the oh so smooth ICS with US rom and lovin it!
Thanks! I only hope this will work for mine, since mine is probably Dutch or European and the description is for UK or Canadion Xooms. But i don't think that should be a proble. Anyway, I'm gonna try and pray that it works!
Got a problem

It works fine. I did it myself a few months ago, flashing my Canadian Xoom with the US ROM, after which I was obtaining the US OTA updates. I don'T remember which procedure I used however, but I can confirm that there's a working procedure somewhere here on the forums.
I got it unlocked and every image would flash ok, apart from system.img. I really don't understand why. I followed the tutorial word for word and obviously I was doing something right or I wouldn't have been able to flash the other images.
In the end I just installed CWM and flashed Team EOS ICS from the recovery.
Worked Great and First Time on my brand new UK Wifi Xoom
Just bought a Wifi only xoom today from carphone warehouse and was a bit dubious about doing this, not wanting to brick my brand new Tablet.
I thought stuff it though, if doesn't work it can go back in the same afternoon that I bought it and I'll get a Refund (was last one in stock, due to them selling them for £249)
Anyway,
Worked a charm once I found the folder where the fast boot was hiding within the zip file.
Took a little while to do, but dead easy
The one thing I did wrong at first was not noticing that each image file had the same filename name written after FLASH and before the filename.img too
(i.e written twice on the command, must be going blind in my old age)
The longest part was going through all the updates on the xoom until finally getting ICS.
Working great now though.
Thanks guys for a great tutorial.
Dean

Were you able to convert yours? I've got a US wifi version, but my dad has a Canadian version and he wants me to convert it to a US version for him.
What happened with the system.img the screen shot seems to suggest it started? Couldn't see any error?
It takes longer to push the system.img over if I recall correctly its a much larger file ...
Edit oh, checked again and saw the fail. Odd. I can probably find and upload the system.img that I used if it would help.

I accidentally flashed all partitions with WOLF's fake rom, which has erased my phone. I can find factory roms for the I8750, but I have the Canadian SGH-T889M.
I just need to flash it with some full rom to get it up and running again - anything. Samsung has no full rom, and I think WOLF took down most of his links. Can someone help me get a copy of a Samsung ATIV S T889M rom? Otherwise, I'm stuck with a brick.

No ROM is leaked for this model. You should go to service center.
There is a safe method to flash customs for carrier models - MBN Creator. I don't know why people still use fakeROMs.

WOLF - You're completely right. I should have used MBN creator. I tried, and it didn't work. I realise now that I probably had to factory reset my phone. If I have to take it to a service center, I may as well just put it in a drawer, because repair costs tend to be crazy, at least in Canada, unfortunately, and I just grabbed an Ativ S NEO on eBay for $200.

Let me know if you need some additional help!
If the method above is to comicated you can flash TWRP and make a system backup and upload it here. I can go ahead and make a flashable zip with that. Just backup your system and nothing else (privacy reasons).

It's Ukrainian language and it was there from 2.0.0. Seems they still ignore Russians.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.

You would need to fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader then use fastboot boot twrp.img(image name for recovery) and then go to backup option and then select system, reboot your phone after and pull the twrp folder form your device.

Hi,
ordered it on 09/14 directly from OnePlus and received it today in Germany.
Haven't seen a mention of v2.0.3
Any questions or should I test something?
Someone on Reddit asked me to upload the system folder.
How do I export that folder?

You are from Germany, right? Would it help you if I would go through the steps with you, in German? PM me!
You would need to unlock the bootloader, but not more.
If you boot the recovery only, it will not get installed.
You can then lock it again afterwards.
in Spain people how ordered it from oneplus web site came with 2.0.3 too.....
so, what are they waiting for the OTA?
Anyone managed to upload nandroid yet of 2.0.3?
We need an nandroid of this. Every phone that came with 2.0.3 and is modified makes the home button not work at all.

My OPT came with 2.0.3 preinstalled. I just made a backup using TWRP before going through the initial setup of the phone. I don't know where people upload such big files to be honest. This is my first post on this forum. Someone from the OnePlus forums told me to check out XDA.
I'll explain it for you just take the nandroid and upload it to google drive I know it's tough but I'd appreciate it so much!

It's uploading as we speak. The file is 1.15 GB and my upload speed is only about 10Mbit/sec.
Thank you, how long till its done ?
I'm at work so it'll probably be done by the time I'm out but I really appreciate it. We all do.
There's definitely a file that's causing the home button to not work when modifying the system with a new kernel. Or drivers or something of the sort.
Hi everyone,
The moment you have been waiting for... A Priv OS autoloader and now a dump of the system files..
I am fairly inexperienced at XDA, but have been around BlackBerry enthusiast forums for years under the name mrfreeze.
I have made this post on CrackBerry forums too, but thought that you all might be able to help out more.
Link to CrackBerry thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/android-apps-f444/blackberry-priv-autoloader-qc8992-aac826-1049300/
*WARNING: THIS CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE WITH NO FIX AT THIS TIME.*
Only works with this device - ShopBlackBerry STV100-1 (na variant with no subvariant)
OS - AAC826
What I bring you is an OS autoloader for the BlackBerry Priv. My understanding that this is meant for the ShopBlackBerry (possibly Amazon) variant of the Priv only. It checks for has a script in the batch file checks for the variant and subvariant, if these don't match it will error. Removing the check and installing it on a non-supported Priv WILL brick the device, this has been confirmed.
This is destructible load and will wipe all data.
I know for sure it does not work on AT&T Priv STV100-1 and will brick it.
Using the fastboot.exe file I determined a few variant names.
I would like to see what subvariants are for each model. I will create a chart as we get more information.
ATT - The autoloader will not work with this model and will brick the device.
variant - na
subvariant - att
ShopBlackBerry - The autloader will work with this model.
Variant - na
Subvariant - (blank)
I haven't had much time to this point to mess around with the files, but will continue to look through them.
Mega files: https://mega.nz/#!XwwgXKSa!jW5QtNnqh90Inx676t9bE1b6TOYlUt3WqOMTKPoBC_4
BlackBerry Android Support Software (Drivers): https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=4EE0932F46276313B51570F46266A608
Holding down the power button and volume down key for 30 seconds will take you to the BlackBerry Bootloader menu.
I will continue to update OP as we learn more.
Oh and if you brick your device you are out of luck at this point. So again don't screw around with this unless you know what you are doing or have a money and time to waste.
- Mr. Freeze
Edit: I have now dumped the system files. Have fun!
Here is the link to the system files: https://mega.nz/#!z5AGyaaS!cxVwt_pSCBdTiPCb_pVhNxATV5xl1xX8_-JhCLzuoaU
P.S. Thanks Usman for help procuring this!
This file is the real deal. Please be very careful if you attempt to test loading on your Priv. IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE.
Interested in seeing the outcome with this...

This. Be very careful.
Do not edit the batch file to skip the variant check, I figured this out the hard way.
It should work fine on a the proper variant though, which is the ShopBlackBerry unlocked devices.
Don't take this as a definitive answer that the Priv is coming to T-Mobile or Sprint, but I found their boot animations in here.
Also found Verizons, which we know is coming.
Verizon's is an animated boot image without audio. (Old Verizon logo though)
T-Mobile's is a static image and it includes the default T-Mobile ringtone.
Sprint's is an animated boot image without audio.

What do you mean?
If you're asking if this will work with that device, then the answer is no. It is only for the STV100-1 North America with a subvariant of none. Which means it is factory unlocked from ShopBlackBerry or possibly Amazon.
I have updated the OP to include a dump of all the system files.

It is something related to BB10. Basically, it's an exe that lets you manually install a version of BB10 to your Blackberry device. They are often used when a version of BB10 is leaked before the updates roll out to phones. I have used them on my Z30 before.

Thanks for your explaining! So to my understanding, an autoloader is equivalently a system image, right? What's special between this autoloader and the one already installed in a ShopBlackberry -1 variant?

There is no difference between this one and the stock one. It's just the first one that's gotten out.
Okay, so it's just for the record. Thx again
