Hi! I cant get GPRS to work with my Norweighan Lebara refill. I simply cant find the settings ANY WHERE on their website! They have it set up so that if I want to have the settings I have to use a program called Featurebooster. But it doesnt work!
So I was wondering if maybe someone know the settings so that I can add them manually?
This is pretty frustrating :-D
Thanks
Lebara Norway have change name to MyCall

I have the same problems. Nobody in Spain knows how to set my o2 to work in the Internet using GPRS. I asked the providers by their ****ing short number (It was vodafone) But There are no any specialists at this country. They can do NOTHING. They do not know anything. I asked everybody at different provider´s offices but I haven´t had the right answers. HELP ME PLEASE to SET MY O2 TO WORK WITH INTERNET IN MADRID.
They gave me different variants of "access point name", username, password and so on. But no one of their settings work. I´m ready to change my provider, that vodafon. I´m ready to do everything to get right settings to get to the internet. Help me please. I can not live without my mobility.

hello members
I just received my x1 yesterday from vodafone and i using a 3uk sim card on it. but i cant seem to edit Connection for internet. it said it the connection is pre-configured. It cannot be modified. Any hack for it?
Thanks
A quick search would show that a couple of reg settings can be set to zero to make them editable.
Alternatively just create brand new settings and enable these as the default.
But for those of us who have an allergy to the search function .....

Hi all,
Just thought I'd share this info in case others are having the same problems...I got my X1 on Vodafone last week, but was having some problems using the Internet with some apps, i.e. SPB mobile shell, Tomtom, Facebook Panel and Yahoo Go.
Basically, the Internet worked fine with Vodafone Live and Vodafone Find & Go but not with the other programs, i.e. when I was trying to update the weather in SPB Mobile Shell or use the Facebook panel.
I looked through the settings and it looks as though it connects to the Internet via a Proxy server (Vodafone's) for some reason....so I found out how to get around it.
Got to:
- Settings (in start menu)
- Connections (tab)
- Connections (icon)
- Advanced (tab)
- Select Networks
- Click on New
- Call it MyGPRS
- Click on the Modem Tab
- In the first option, call it Vodafone wap
- Select Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
- Click Next
- In the first option, Access point name = wap.vodafone.co.uk
- Click next
- Username = wap
- Password = wap
- Leave Domain blank
- Click Finish
- Click OK twice
- Go back to "Select Networks"
- In the top drop down, select the new connection you created (MyGPRS)
- Click ok
You should now be able to use all the Apps, but the vodafone live services dont work....unless you change your connection back to My ISP. I can now use BBC iPlayer (only over WiFi) though.
Anyone else experienced this problem? Can you shed any light on the situation for me please!
Thanks, and I hope this helps someone

Me too having this problem,i can't access vodafone live via gprs. Can someone please post the CORRECT gprs settings that we can work easily like normal phones....pleaseee
i was able to access vodafone live but its the text version, i wouldnt have bothered its just that vodafone have given me 1 months free tv package which im keep to check out.
i must have removed something deep in the phone like a dll or another type of file.
I have an untouched rom and dont really mess with my X1 but my live buttons dont work they just take me to the gogle homepage and thats it?
You need to use My ISP if you want access to the full Vodafone Live. You will also need to make sure that the user-agent in Opera is set to the Vodafone one and not IE or full Opera.

i'm curtently reading and posting from a mobile phone. you might had entered the settings wrong. i'll help you out more once i get to my desktop. it'll take me a while.....
I think its my browser that's not working..
I've setup the proxy for 202.139.083.152 port 8070
APN = wap.optus.net.au
What rom do you use?
your ROM, 6.5.5 I think
bump help please
Attached is a .cab file I pulled out on my XDA II stock ROM. Once installed, it should allow you to select Optus settings under Settings->Connections[->Connections->"Advanced" Tab->Select Networks]
Assuming, of course, that there is only one Optus in the whole world and it's in Australia. Otherwise, I don't know what Optus these settings are for.
You could also try the HTC Network Wizard, downloadable from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1645355&postcount=2
I can already select optus, my problem is my internet explorer doesn't connect or shows any web pages.. Im think that its either the internet explorer or my settings
