Hey is there a way to copy contacts from o2 mini to P910i
thankyou
o2 xda mini contacts to sony ericsson p910i
synchronizing the information between the xda mini and the p910i is very easy... the first you would need would be a PC or Mac.
by synchronizing your data onto MS Outlook on WindozeXP and/or MS Entourage or Apple Address Book on Mac OS X (using third party PocketMac Pro), you can now update both mini and p910 ... i would suggest though if you would like to synchronize and use both smartphones, try and keep your contacts with the XDA Mini format since the mini has a limited number of entries compared to the p910.
hit me up if you have questions, i do this regularly between my xda 2s, p910 and Mac .. sometimes i do this for my pc as well ...
I think both also have software that can export to a file, eg .csv, and import them likewise.

unfortunately
Hey unfortunaately i had to get rid of the xda o2s all i have is the backup file of my contacts is there a xbackup software i could use to get my contacts frm the backedup file into the p910i
I would suggest you not to get rid of your O2.
For the PDA, the sync plays the most important part.
I have almost 5000 contacts and have been using
Palm, Treo 600/650, Pocketpc
All works without problem. Choosing between palm vs ppc is another topic, not disucss here. But both palm and ppc can deliver the expected data sync between your PC and device.
BUT THE PCSuite sync for P910i is BROKEN, for sync it can talk an hour which just take few seconds to mintues (first sync).
and with P910 sycn software - there is GUARANTEE record LOSS.
BEWARE of this.

Hi,
Does that mean you never sync'd your O2 with Outlook or you have the backup as well?
There must be a tool out there to pull out of xbackup but the it'll not be easy. I use Outlook for everything and to sync everything so that my contact and calendar list are all in the one place and its the phones that are updated from it, much easier.
SOrry,

hello guys i got my xperia x10 yesterday and it is amazing one
but want to know how to copy contacts and inbox messages from my old x1 to x10
if you're using an X1, you're probably syncing with outlook.
so go to outlook, export contacts in CSV format. Save this file on your desktop or a location of your choice.
Next, open up gmail, click on contacts. Click import, and upload the CSV file. Sync your X10 with gmail. Done.
thanks alot
and what about messages

How do i sync contact pictures?
as far as i know you cant do anything about the contact pictures and text messages. you can only back up the texts to PC but no way of getting them on the X10
You can just as easily copy the CSV file from outlook to the root of your memory card in the X10, and then from contacts import the file.
Just done it from my iPhone 3GS 32GB to macbook pros adressbook to my shiny, new, X10 !
244 contact in no time !
I beamed all my contacts from X1 to X10 using Bluetooth.
what about text messages?
i need to sell off X1 to get X10..but dunno how to backup all the data.

If you want to make it easy for yourself, just forget about the text messages. There have never been a reliable transfer of text messages from one platform to another, especially from WinMo to Android and there probably never will be. It's much easier doing backups of text messages within one platform.
My tip is to write down the most important ones and skip the rest.

After you have signed up, sync your X1 and then connect your X10 and transfer your X1 sync to the X10. As easy as that

I beamed my contacts to, but all swedish characters failed. So my phonebook is full of strange characters now.
search around for the text backup tool. you can view them in word on the pc. I forget the name of the app but it was developed by HTC. post in a windows mobile forum for more info

X1 is not included in the list of phones you can sync here!! Is it just me or other are also missing X1 in the phones you can sync? It does have X2 and using that option it asks to run a program which isn't there in X1. Anyone has any other idea how to transfer all contact details including pictures from X1 to Android phones like Xperia Pro??
I got my X10 and i sync'ed with PC to bring on my contacts.calender.notes but i Failed to get messages
I'd like to wonder how to move my SMS&MMS from windows mobile to android
Thanks in advance

Any way to get SMS from A2 SE phones??? Or from MyPhoneExplorer Backup?
Ive tried PIM backup, and it always manages to bork my threaded SMS on restore, as well as being a mostly garbled mess when trying to view the backed-up files on the PC.
is there any way to fix both problems, or an alternate (free) utility that dosnt require a CS degree to install/use?

google says its either for android, or a paid prog for WM.
I'm running WM6, and free is always better.
For WM - Microsoft MyPhone.
I agree with PS... Microsoft Myphone will back up your emails, contact, SMS, etc.. and it is all free of charge... can be used via activesync, WiFi, or data plan...
When restoring with PIM Backup, disable threaded SMS first, then restore, then restore threaded SMS. It should work.
