Is there a way ?

I think your best bet is to flash over to a pure sense Rom for that.
Or
Get Widget Locker Lockscreen. I know that it supports Lock screen LWPs.
Good luck.
Hi guys don't know if I'm getting abit paranoid but how prominent is your power button mine is nearly flush with the body is this about right? Still works fine oh I've hat the phone 2 weeks.

they have really improved the power button on DHD over the Desire...Ive had my Desire button replaced already...because its not flushed and the design means that it protrudes a little out from the body slightly, feels flimsy after a few months...DHD feels much better, I think its because of the internal design...
to open screen you can use tap tap app and to close it use screen off app. in this way you can protect your power button.
Yea I used that tap tap app just brush ya finger over sensor on the top right hand corner and it works really like it personally

Hmm, I haven't used this before, but I'm liking the sound of it. There are quite a lot of apps that don't work yet on Gingerbread, I don't know of any alternatives, but it's likely the developer will eventually get an update out for Gingerbread devices
I have no problem with my power button being too flush. It works fine how it is
Hi I found 2 apps worth mentioning
1 AnyUnLock
2 ScreenOff
I use AnyLock my self to unlock the screen. Using Volum Up/Down buttons. Better than Power button I guess

Mines starting to decay also =D
Hey, i like AnyUnlock, but it seams to kill my security pattern, is there any program that lets you use the volume keys, AND makes you do your pattern?
Tap Tap App, is good, but it reduces power life
Is there anything else on the market?

Is there anyway to do a screenshot natively? I know I have done it by accident but I can't remember which sense rom or create it. I've been juggling between Virtuous Doubleshot, Virtuous 2.0, and the stock desire z sense rom. I don't even have any screen capture apps installed. I'm also not interested in any app that involves me shaking, shouting, or waiting for the capture. Can anyone help?

Awww damn. I'm sure you're right. How do you do it?
Not sure how it works in CM7. I haven't used it since the screenshot was implemented.
In unity you press and hold the power button them press the home button

In CM7, its been added to the power notifications. When you hold down the power button you're given options like "shut down" and "reboot"... "screenshot" has been added to that list.
OP before this was implemented i used Drocap for screen captures. Enable it and it sits in the notifications bar, just drop down notification tray and hit the icon and it takes a shot once the notification tray goes away. Simple enough, with no shaking or shouting.
Download drocap2 on the market, you must have root priviledges.
Its very nice, default is shake to trigger. Reliable app

Is there a lockscreen for defy like genuine lockscreen sgs3? It's doesn't matter if it's launcher or something flashable. I simply adore that lock screen.in google play is one,but isn't working very well,if i touch the screen in maximum 2 seconds get force close

Quick and easy mod to disable the Sense lockscreen.
In /system/priv-app/, look for "HtcLockScreen.apk" and "HtcLockScreen.odex" and change the files' extension with your favorite root file manager. After that, reboot (a hot reboot will do) and you should see your stock 4.4 lock screen.
Note: Since this isn't Sense's main lockscreen, it will be buggy. Widgets don't work, motion gestures don't work, and camera shortcut isn't there. When widgets are enabled, HTC's clock shows up (deformed) instead of the stock clock. Pin/password/pattern/face unlock all work (although it might be a little hard to set up pattern as the circles aren't visible. Or that might be default, I don't really know).

On the M7, you needed to run the SetupWizard to get the full functionality from the AOSP lock screen. That said, I haven't tried this on my M8...
After the reboot
Terminal or ADB
su
am start -n com.google.android.setupwizard/.SetupWizardTestActivity;

You will want to do .WelcomeUserActivity instead of SetupWizardTestActivity
You may also need to grab the SetupWizard from the GPE model and drop it into priv-app
Keep in mind that unless you use kernel wake mods it will break swipe/tap to wake

Thanks all of you!!
I hated the sense 6 4.4 android lock screen...not more than the 5.5 one. I found out the setup wizard through google and now I got the AOSP 4.4 lock screen. Thank you everyone!!!
