Trade HTC HD2 for nexus one?

I have a new hd2 as a backup phone and would like to trade it for another android phone..nexus one or vibrant..I also posted this in vibrant forum.

I have a question about putting android on HD2. How successful and stable is this with Froyo?

Another query is what about battery performance? Given i think its only a 1250mah battery. I owned the HD2 in january but sent it back after a week due to it not being satisfactory. Battery life on windows 6.5 was really poor. What do you think?

just put froyo on it... it honestly feels the same except a bigger screen

My buddy has an hd2 and with froyo running he said his bat life is baddd.

This is what i was expecting.
One reason not to get one if this is the case. Anymore users out there that have put Froyo on there HD2, can you confirm this please?

As I've played with more and more of Sense, there are lots of parts I don't like. Will there be some way to just get parts I like, and use TouchWiz or stock on other parts?
Really, most important to me is the HTC Sense Homescreen Clock/Weather app thing. I really want that!

here is a link to a video of the review of the HTC Evo 3D and i couldnt help but notice how badass the new sense UI was with the endless cube screen switch animation, and the lockscreen and even some of the widgets.

Yes, but i don't think many people are behind porting sense or willing to do it.
I know they guy who is working on MIUI is also working on sense.

I have just 3 things to say:
1. There is a Sense UI port under way if you had bothered to search.
2. This definitely doesn't belong in development.
3. Typing in all caps is incredibly annoying.

For one, the Sense UI has to be available to port first...the one from the EVO 3D isn't leaked yet

Thats RCMix ICE ROM for the Sensation.
RC Team are already working on a DHD version.

Let them get to a stable version of ICS for DHD first lol then porting sense would be done...

I don't believe that ICS will come to an outdated Sense.

sense 3 was out with flyer and i believe sense 3.5 was made recently for our device so i don't think it's outdated at all

I tried it on sensation and it really feel high end, loved it more then silly stock ICS, although its sense 3.5 but has lots of changes, such the new dock and the black notfication menu and animated folder with thumbnails
I won't try RC's QHD port on my DHD, I would rather wait for the WVGA XL version

Now im running energy rom but i hate the theme it has wich cannot be altered somehow.
What is in your opinion the "best" sense 3.5 or 4.0 rom ? For a daily use.

The rom with sense 4 isn't stable and has many things not working. As for sense 3.5, it lags
I recommend androplus ultimate. Look in NAND section.
It has sense 2.0 but u can theme it like sense 3.5 even with the sense 3.5 lockscreen.

I too briefly used the Androplus ROM and found it to be a quality sense-based ROM. It sounds like it is what you are looking for based on your description. Good luck, I am certain you will find a solution in the NAND dev section that will make your leo fight...try them all!

I use TBD Sundawg's SENSE 3.5+ HTC ONE X TWEAKS TMO for daily use. Have tried the rest but this rom has caught me by surprise. Fast and great battery life.
