Sorry for the noob question but does CM7 Nightly #39 fix the issues with GPS? I searched the forum, but couldn't find a straight answer. I'm running CM7 Stable and its been solid except for this one thing. Trying to decide if I should risk #39?
What was wrong with the gps? I never had problems with the gps. What problems were you having?

My gps locks finE. My issue is that when I open up maps, gps doesn't turn on until I close it and reopen. I know I can just do that but it got annoying. I want gps is to turn on everytime I use maps. It worked fine in 2.2.1. Been buggy since I switched to gingerbread

Everyone whose auto rotate busted after flashing to/from FroYo please comment here. Tell us the steps you've tried and if you've gotten it working again.
I flashed to Syndicate 1.0.2 from DJ29 FroYo and noticed my auto rotate no longer worked. I nandroided back to stock DI18, still doesn't work. I odin'd to DI18, still doesn't work.
Anyone else?

Nevermind, I looked through the beta forum and found out how to fix it.
Use a terminal emulator app and type the following(hit enter after each line)
Su
/system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha

I know it was mentioned that xda app crashes on the iconia tab but this goes further. I can't access xda web site with browser too (can't find disable java ) and from my phone (epic) I don't see Q posts click-able underneath general post line like on pc, so from my tab can't access xda all.

I have had the web close like that on me before, but never consistently for a single site, and never on XDA :/ try this:
Settings> applications> manage applications> all> browser> clear data. No guarantees, but maybe it will fix it.
I think he's talking about xda app. It's a known issue on the free app.
**My mistake I just re-read the the question... no idea why the browser would be crashing for you on xda. Dolphin, Opera and OEM all work for me.
he gave no specifics in his original post, ie: which version of HC, what build, etc. No way to help him based on a question without pertinent info.

Does anyone have this problem when trying to post something? It seems that cannot see my position, but if I tap the tab it gives me nearby choices.
GPS working OK with map.

I just tried on a Sense based rom and it is working fine. Ill ask as few others that use a CM based rom and see if they have the same issue
Edit. Ok spoke with a few and had them test it. They are a few roads off but it finds them for the most part. I would start with the rom itself
Does the location appears in the tab without tap it first?

No i had to turn on the Agps and GPS settings first as I normally turn them off and allow nothing to use my location for any apps
I can only choice a location once I tap the tab. In the previous version once u open the windows to post something automatically the current location would be there.

i don't have problem here, but my data and GPS always on.

Hey guys recently some people have put posts saying once they leave their Wildfire the Wifi stops working and turns off by itself preventing them from getting synced. Follow these steps to get wifi working again
1. Go on market and download "WIFI Keep Alive" (Link can not be provided due to XDA Rules)
2 Once its downloaded press Always on, then click advanced option and enable all workarounds and debug logs
Thats it your WIFI should now always stay on!
I thought you could do this from WiFi settings press menu then advanced settings and set sleep policy to never?
Works for me anyway!

+1 to that but thanks for posting

So what you're saying is if your router cuts the connection to your phone there is an app which you can install on the phone which can stop that?
