galaxy si9000 firmware update/debranding/3button download probs

Hi im looking for some info/help if anyone could ,it would be appreciated.,,.
I have a samsung galaxy si9000, its a replacement for a broken phone under gaurentee.
It came back branded with 3pay network and when i go to kies to update firmware it says im on
PDA:JP5/PHONE:JP2/CSC:JP5 (H3G)
and a new update aval. to
PDA:JVD/PHONE:JV5/CSC:JV6(H3G)
i was wanting to debrand it and as i can not get into 3button download mode, will this update enable it again and if so can i then debrand it with the new fimware on it.
i am not to experienced with mobile phones and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction,.
your help is most appreciated

when i try the 3botton fix with odin/abd
when i type in adb reboot download command it dont recognise the command ,also will the 3 button fix brick my phone if it is branded to a network ,.ie 3pay , myn phone is unlocked to any network ,..thanks again

hi and thanx for reply, i seen the topic on jig stick but im no good with electronics ,will the abd way brick my phone ? as that way seems easaier for me ,thanx again

i know im not a regular here and sem to come here for help,. but it seems to be the only place to seek help , i hope i never offended anyone here and would like a bit of help please , I am trying now to get back to

Guys.. I just bought a Samsung galaxy S2 a week ago.. I want to try out a custom ROM but don't know how to do so.. Pls help .. also do let me know of any risks that exist while doing the same.. is there a chance that the handset gets bricked?.. Also, can someone explain how to root the device and how that might be useful ??

If you dont want to bother reading learning just choose a custom rom follow the instructions and you may not brick your phone .

you need a usb jig to force your phone get in to download mode. You can search ebay to buy one,

hey !!. guys. im a noob so please be gentle with me if i seriously ask u stupid questions. most likely i won't.
my problem is . my cousin from usa gifted me a razr m dev edition !. ( i can say this cause the bootloader was unlocked)
it is supposed to be global cellphone. but cause of some reson . i ain't able to make my sim work tried 3 sims. !! i get the message sim from unknown source and no network even selection doesnt work so. i decide to flash the aussie radio thing. ! it took me 19 hours of searching and al to take a step. i messed up with it. my cellphone was bricked in ap fastboot mode. ! some how i managed to get out of it and when i went to the main boot it did not work. all stupd forceclose and all.! i then was able to rrot my cellhone with TWR recovery and flashed a cm10 rom. !! ( idont no which ) not a expert and was really tierd to search for more tht moment. !! and the cellphone worked . but again .. lots of bug like no wifi, keyboard forceclose. camera problems. !! and again no sim !! :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:.. !! so now i just want to know what should i do. !! trying to find a new rom but i have the dev edition is this the problem !!.. please please help me if u can. !! please its a request. i cnt waste more time on this as i have my exams coming and i really need the phone. please !!!!. please

and iv also seen many people asking for roms for dev edition . !! i guess this post can help many so i really request one of the experinced devs to help us with this. !!. its a awesome !! cellphone.. ! and please suggest us a rom for daily use. !! will the blur one work ?? for dev ?? !!
