Hi guys
My HTC Wildfire has stopped connecting to my mobile internet.
It happend last week while I was running on 2.1 (was previously on 2.2 with WildPuzzle ROM but found it unstable so restored my old version via Clockwork Mod) all was fine until the network stopped connecting so i installed the official Sense Arabic ROM and problem was solved until today.
I am now running on 2.2 with the official Sense Arabic ROM and have today started having the same problem again! Anybody got any idea what's wrong?
PS. I can still surf the web via WiFi...
try deleting proxy in your apn, and then reboot phone...

Hi,
I noticed after upgrading to the official HTC Hero ROM for Europe 2.73.405.5 that i'm not able to turn on the wifi adapter. The message i get in the wireless control panel is "unable to start Wi-Fi". I don't use any application for wifi control. There is also no MAC address assigned in the phone information to the adapter.
I was working before with the MCR 2.2.
Could it be from a back up application which i installed to restore the data from the previous ROM?
The ROM is also rooted with flashrec.
Appreciate if you could please share me some tips how to turn the wifi adapter.

I have the exact same problem on my phone. After a recent wipe/restore. Running cronos droid, flykernel 11 and latest radio.

Hi, I'm having problems connecting to the GSM network and now i cant call or receive calls, and sms as well. My Topaz was working fine the night b4.. I have no idea what might have caused this. I didn't install any softwares prior to the prob. If it helps, I'm using TESS 4.2, Radio version 4.49.25.17.. I'm currently in Malaysia and my service provider is Maxis. I'm sure this problem has something to do with the phone since my friends who are using the same service provider doesn't have the same problem. Anyone have a view on this?

Do you have recently flashed rom or radio? Otherwise a hardreset or a reflash.
Can you be more specific with threadtitle...
Recently switched to TESS 4.2 two nights ago. as ive said the other night it was working perfectly. Before this Im using Dutty HG R5.. Would a hard reset cause this problem? how do i rectify it?

WiFi cant found any network but other phones can !
speed od EDGE connection is very slow !

Are you running custom ROM or stock Rom?
If you running custom rom I would recommend changing your Radio and Ril. If you got OTA update from your carrier months back. People had trouble with wifi n later on they released another ota fix for wifi. If you haven't rooted your phone yet n feel flying free go to Dev section of DHD. It'll tell you every step what to do.
Can't get much help if running stock rom because you are chained lol.its the reality.

I had the same problem 4 months ago...
I delete all the usuary apps (it must be that someone had conflict with the rom :S) and when I restart the DHD, the mobile connection works good
P.D. Then I install all the apps again and no problems

since friday my phone wants to anger me. i used the stock miui rom with an language pack and suddenly i've got no mobile network anymore..
i reflashed the rom - nothing. Cause i had trouble more times with miui and internet i switched back to CM7 where all worked well.. but now theres also no internet connection
is it possible that some hardware is defect? cause i tried out 4 roms and all dont have any mobile connection (gps / wlan works well).
please help me :/

In your CM7 rom, go into Settings/Wireless/ Mobile Networks/APN Settings.
Get to where you can see what your APN settings are, and write them down EXACTLY as they are.
Then reflash the MIUI rom, and input the APN settings exactly as they are written down, and your internet should work.
I bought the phone a few days ago and I have a problem with a MARKETPLACE,I can not connect via wireless and also via GPRS data,shows me the problem:

and how can i update windows os over the air? what is the last version of sistem? what is the last update version? how can i update??
The WM 6.5 marketplace isn't working, Microaoft turned it off. The latest official Windows for HD2 is 6.5, but you can unofficialy upgrade to WP7.8. Or even better, Android 4.1.2
