Is there a video out for the MT4G? HDMI or RCA would be great... RCA for my car, HDMI for the house.
It has DLNA, you can buy DLNA receivers for electronics that are not DLNA enabled

Is hulu better than Netflix?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Netflix works great for me and has great quality. I wouldn't know how hulu is because it does not work for me.

Hulu Plus is better for those who want to stay up to date on their favorite TV shows. They get new episodes quickly and include all episodes of the current season of many shows.
Netflix, on the other hand, would be the service of choice for movie buffs. I've found their movie collection to be impressive; I've found almost every film I've searched for and a great deal of grand movies I'd never heard of. It has some TV shows available for instant steaming and a great deal for DVD rental. Netflix isn't likely to have that new episode or season that every one is talking about; they have to wait a great while before making this material available.
Netflix also has wider device support for now. Many DVD/BluRay players and televisions include a Netflix application.
For me, Netflix is the better option, but it all comes down to what you hope to get out of the service.

Actually.. i was thinking.
If we use the internal hardware video encoder .
It may be possible.
It is fast enough to capture video at HD then it may be possible to capture the screen and feed the output to the usb port and use a program on the end of a pc to display it.
But something like this will take a long time to develop...
I'm not sure about hdmi out, but what would be easier or more doable would be tv out, just needs a good dev to take a look at it I think or an app if someone knows one?
I mean if we can have dlna why not tvout via usb?

I want to add amps to the USB from another source on the board
Couldn't you track the positive track back to the voltage regulator and fit a bigger amp smd regulator?

Use a powered USB hub, and save your warranty.
Best way to fix your issue in my opinion.
